Thank you everyone!! I am actually starting to feel pretty good about where Im going. Got my workout "B" in for today after 1 Thermogenesis and 1 scoop of PWO. And I did better than I have ever done in a couple of different ways. Taking my "Man Card" back from HIT4ME, and again, I thank him for the nudge, I upped my deadlifts from 225 and decided to do 275x15. It honestly felt easy so for the second set, I did 315x10. And for the first time I went over 225 without the use of straps. I have a video of the 315, and yes I know, my form got a bit off, but Im stoked about doing it, Inwas starting to fatigue, had just got off of a 24 hour fire shift, and did 30 squats with 275 yesterday, so please give me a bit of a break. Also, added another picture, simply cause this guys triceps are starting to really come through! Im A happy man!!

looks good! I like the split.
I have done HST splits before and makes it not so repetitive. but i just like working out so its not a problem with me. its nice to know what i'm doing that day.I like to get mentally prepared on the way to the gym.

my problem is I do 14-16 exercises on my HST. Probably why I hardly make it 8 weeks.
Legs:
Quads and Hams

Chest:
upper and mid or lower
Back:
Mid & Lats and lower if I can handle it.

Shoulders:
one for all 3 heads. (my shoulders are slow growers and some lifts i just cant do anymore)

Trapz:
some times I will skip these for a week or 2. they grow pretty well

Tris:
just one exercise. they grow really well. some times I will skip them for a whole workout. (not so much anymore since I cant bench anymore).

Bis:
Both heads, Slow growers and paranoid to go balls to the walls, (Past tear in the back of my head)

Calves:
start with 4 sets and increase a set every week. That's right 10 sets at week 7.
Wimpy calves run in the family. we were all fast but our calves are almost non existent naturally.
If I could just inject juice in my calves I would!

Abs:
I'm such a fat as s that I super set my ab's with 6 sets every workout.

Dont target just forearms. probably should.

Note: I'm not telling everyone to do this. This is whats worked for me for years and I keep gaining.
I did start with the original HST protocol at first and made some nice gains for a few years, but I noticed I need to increase it over the years.

Now in the spring summer when I taking my daughter all over the country for softball every freakin weekend. I reduce it to about 12 exercises. and sometimes I have to go 3 days in a row. (Really don't recommend this)!

No!!!! Do it VitalizeSupps!! Slipknot is totally acceptable in my log! Plus, kicking down doors is a hobby of mine, part of the job, so keep crushing the labels and keep crushing slipknot, just maybe add some five finger death punch!!! Im loving this so far by the way

It is weird. Bunch of strangers and I feel more close to these guys than my friends I actually see in person. I'm really glad to be a part of this forum. Some guys don't make it to spooner st but we still take care of them.

Iron Throwing= True
Shirts Ripping= mine is ripping around the stomach.
Protein drinking= about 3 a day.
Puzzies= not true.
Teddy bear= pretty much when it comes to my wife, girls and grand daughters.

Actually - it didn't suck. I'm watching the video again and your first rep is ALMOST perfect form. But you were rushing, probably because of all the PR adrenaline, and your resets were just too high I think. If you slowed it down and tightened up a little you would have gotten 12 easy, maybe the full 15. You made that shizzle look like a cake walk and you were bending over to do it! Again, the form did not really suck at all, just a small tweak because I don't wanna see you get hurt after I busted your ballz....oh, and I guess I have to give this back to you **hands over man card** ....

Yeah, I hear you honestly. I am incredibly thankful for all the guys on here - it's a great group and an awesome outlet for a hobby that I really love - but I also find it sad how dead on you area bout the "real life" side of things. I talk about this a lot with some friends I have - it used to be that if you wanted to talk to someone, you had to get out of your seat and go to their house and say hi. Then we had phones and you could call. But nowadays, if I just showed up at a lot of peoples' houses to say hi, they would feel like that was weird or something. It's a crazy world we live in.

I noticed it was a little sticky - you may want to clean that off before you laminate.
 
Dude you're turning into a machine. Might I suggest implementing the hook grip with your deads. It'll allow to use both hands pronated and not create any imbalances. Also, the hook grip will build awesome grip strength

This is HARDCORE advice - I have never been able to bring myself to do the hook grip. It's good advice, but....I'm kind of a puzzy too. Did you overcome the pain and adopt this ryane87?

Thank you! The hook grip, isnt that tucking your thumb into your palm more or less? It would take me a bit to get used to it. As stupid as it may sound, years of fighting and being taught to NOT tuck my thumb might take some self convincing to get over.

Yes sir. 355 with hook grip, no chalk. Hook grip and chalk up to 395. Man, all this deadlift. I need to figure if alignment is my issue. I really need to do them again. I was really sad thinking about never doing them again.

Hook grip. Let the pain drive your lift. That is what I did. Then it won't hurt after awhile
 
You know how normally you put your thumb over your fingers? With the hook grip, you wrap your thumb FIRST and your pointer and middle finger OVER your thumb

Ill try it. I was just reading up on it and it says it's painful but you have to do it to get over it. Worth a shot! Thanks

I can pull 435 with chalk and inverted grip. I've heard of said hook grip but never tried. I may try it

Ryane started it. Lol. I was on track to pull 6 this year before I destroyed my hand. Anything over 4 hurts so bad I've stopped pulling that heavy. When I do deads now I only do 315 for a few sets just for fun.
