So my lady has always had serious trouble with her stomach. She reacts very badly to both gluten and lactose and even when steering clear of all that her bowls do not function properly. Meaning she might go 4 days with going number 2.

We are on the plane back from a week in Dubai now and although we have had a great time, the food has wrecked her stomach. So now I really wanna take charge and fix this **** (literally).

She eats 4-5 meals a day, gets enough fiber and food Volume so as she should be going number 2 each day. I've started her on ProBiotics and when we get back home I have Digezyme waiting for her. I also make sure she takes lactose blockers if there is a trace of lactose in the food. Gluten is a total no no as her body literally shuts down if she eats it.

Is there anybody with experience or knowledge that can help me out here. Because it's painful to see her go thru this every day.

First let me day I am sorry for her, I watch my girl go through migraines si I know how you feel, can't do anything help and that sucks.

So What probiotic? I'm using evomuse Gùt health and have found its superior to a lot of the usual store brands. It's got some other ingredient fructooligosacharides, look it up. This helps me a lot, I've been able to cut down on taking antacids.

I dunno though her situation sounds worse than my own, but it doesn't hurt to try other brands, supps are not created equal.

You've had her see a specialist right?

Coconut oil in Coffee and in capsules has helped my wife. she also started taking psyllium husk about a year ago and she thinks this really helped. its cheap and her sweet spot is 1220 mg 3 times a day (Caps)
And she started eating Greek yogurt with the probotics. the pills made her stomach upset for some reason.

Coconut oil in coffee is delicious.

She should try dsades bowel flush.

30g (total of psyllium husk) right before bed (preferable the whole husks as it will scrape the intestines down)

Upon waking 200mg caffeine or (8-16oz coffee)
Bronkaide

15-30min she'll have a massive bowel movement nearly emptying her completely.

I've used his protocol NUMEROUS times (before my powerlifting comp, week prior to my bb show and every other month almost just to clear out)

It's very effective

Sounds harsh? Is that end up being a "painful" poop?

Not at all. No way to describe this but it is what it is.

Bowel movements were smooth and soft

No alcohol, caffeine or sugar. Everyday eat a punnet of blueberries, a tin of beans and 500ml of live bioculture yoghurt. Consistency is the key here. Every meal must be designed to feed her microbiome.

She needs to work with a functional medicine doctor. Without finding out the root cause then it's a shot in the dark.. and generally good advice like eat fiber, take psyllium husk, probiotics could actually be a waste of money or make the situation worse.

tips that will not hurt.
Drink plenty of water.
Eat slow and chew your food really really well.

If she has something like SIBO, then fiber can be the enemy.

With that said, my favorite probiotic is Prescript Assist. it's a soil based probiotic that doesn't need refrigeration.
