Best supplements to lower estrogen?

It's all good. It seems that this topic gets brought up at least once every few weeks. Soy lecithin granules, especially at the moderate doses we use for PA, are not going to effect estrogen or testosterone. From an old post:

According to the USDA, soy lecithin contains an average of 15.7mg isoflavones per 100g.

and this is from examine.com

A lot of people, myself included, seem to find 3 tbsp of lecithin granules (1.8 g PA) to be a good amount. That's 22.5 grams of soy lecithin, which should only contain around 3.5mg isoflavone, much, much less than the 100mg number examine mentioned.

The article you linked has some flawed logic, so It's not even necessary to go back and fact-check it. Even if lecithin granules do have the same percent of phytosterols as soy milk (which I am not saying is the case, I'm just going with the assumption here), a glass of soymilk, as they stated, is 245g, where most people use about 22.5g (3 tbsp) lecithin granules as a source of PA. That's less than 1/10 of a cup, or less than 1 ounce of soymilk. That's absolutely trivial. It's similar fallacious logic, fear mongering even, as saying that apples contain arsenic. While it's technically true, you really have to take the doses needed to have effects and the amounts in said product into consideration for it to mean anything at all.

Great advice. I had gyno in high school randomly. Maybe I could be sensitive to soy and estrogen? Who knows. I'm all facked up. Haha

Soy lecithin Granules barely contain trace of Isoflavones. Could you get gyno from soy lecithin? No!

lol...stranger things have happened, however I agree it is improbable.

judging by the PA thread it seems that a huge amount of forum members are either using or have used PA, I have heard no mention of estrogen issues, and several members myself included are using PA in pct.

PA is good stuff :)

I have followed the PA thread for many moons now and it appears that the vast majority have good results with a minimum of issues-myself included!!!

Hey guys.

Just finishing up an 8 week run of alphamax XT.

Got my bloods done and estrogen is high

Any recommendations on anything to lower it substantially?

My E2 is at 157pmol/ml. I'm 27

How much test,LH, and FSH increase? I'm very interested

This forum is so up and down on arimistane, that I'm starting to think it's one big inside joke.

Yep. The only 2 things I've heard about it are "it's the best" and "it's worthless." Hopefully the latter isn't true because I'm sitting on 3 bottles of arimistane. From what I understand on this forum is that there is no proof it lowers estrogen, but does cortisol. So people may be taking it and leaning out but it's not due to lowering estrogen. But then on the other hand I've seen people on here say their e2 was lowered from using it... so who knows..

Perhaps if you were having larger amounts of soy products on a regular basis, like, for example, drinking soy milk, eating tofu or other "vegan meat replacements" that primarily use soy, and/or using a ton of soy sauce (or other sauces that contain a lot of soy), but it is highly, highly improbable that soy lecithin is/was the culprit, especially since its usually present in very small amounts.

I spent from the time I was 15 till now avoiding soy because my football coach told us it would turn us into women. I've never had tofu or soy milk or any of those things

Hahahaha.. I just find it funny that your coach said soy is going to turn you into women.

if it wasn't so hard on my joints[including the Johnson]I would make arimistane mandatory fr when I wanted to shed some lbs. if you can tolerate it at 50-75mg then it is extremely effective on a cut, imo!!!

Well I'm looking forward to that then! I have the eradicate-e which is 25mgs each. Primeval erosion are 50mgs each recommended 3 times per day I believe for a total of 150mgs. I didn't pick those up because it sounded like overkill. Don't know if I've seen anyone take doses that high before.

Propecia was already lowering your DHT, then you added in a product which is heavily dosed with 3,4 Divanyl/Stinging nettle extract. I keep seeing posts like yours pop up from people who have taken such supplements. Stinging nettle lowers DHT, DHT is a natural anti estrogen. Low DHT = increased estrogen. BLR Rebirth should do you nicely if you want to go the natural route. Possibly take 1 pill of SNS inhibit E twice a day as well. Best of luck!

Obviously, I would not recommend that you take any stinging nettle extracts in the future either.

The most likely cause of this is that you are sensitive to 3,4 Divanyl/Stinging nettle extracts. I keep seeing posts like yours pop up from people who have taken these supplements. Stopped using alphamax. Could it potentially come down on its own? Also hopped on DIM

if I were you I would start at 50 to see how you tolerate it, then move up to 75 if everything is good....150 seems a bit excessive, imo!!!

That's what I plan to do. I've heard a lot of people found 50mgs to be very effective so I'll see if I even need to go higher than that. But yeah I'm not quite sure what Primeval Labs is thinking recommending 150mgs daily...

yup...if you find 50g effective stick with it, less chance for sides such as joint pain and loss of libido[although I have heard a few guys report increased libido, but that is not the norm].

These bloods were taken before propecia. I've since stopped alphamax and propecia

Sorry about that. I was rushing through reading this thread as I had to go to work. Guess I missed that part. Wow, that is crazy...you will recover though...

Timeout......

Stinging nettle does not lower DHT. It inhibits SHBG which can increase test, estrogen and DHT levels.
