6 Week Fat Loss Challenge

Checking in from Chicago! It's farging cold over here!
Found a gym to visit. Got up at 2:30a -- and then the sh1t hit the fan...

- Couldn't find my jacket.. oh, it's in the wash. (Still) Found my down vest, only shorts and a t-shirt...
- Father-in-law triple fcuking locks everything! Where is the house key!? Mother-faldkchah393834#*#&$%%##@!
- Get in car finally, freezing my arse off!
- GPS on. Car. On... heater! on. Thank god for heated seats.
- On the road.
- (Still not sure if my key is going to open the gym door)
- Arrive at gym after getting the run around by the GPS. 3:15a
- Door opened! Holy crap, this place is way nicer than my gym. (Gym-gasm)
- Right away, I'm thinking of the current challenge for BPS... load up a bar and carry it across the gym near the chin up bar. (lol) I must look like an idiot carrying 135lbs across the gym. (Nobody is there, but if and when they check the cameras) Good laugh at this guy.
- Drop the bar, and I get 20 up and down, deads... Not happening. Grrrrrr. Maybe if I had my pre...
- Proceed to planned session, Chest / Arms.

Light Workout Today.

Dead Lifts
1 x 135 x 20 (I think I can do better than this.)

No Peak O2, Pre, or Protein.
Definitely feeling the difference!

Any workout is better than none, I say!
My god, that gym was amazing.

Fck dude. The people in your gym that don't know you probably think you are in your late 20s. haha outstanding work bud. You can't look at some of the people on here and not be inspired

Had me a shake for breakfast this morning, whey Isolate, vanilla unsweetened almond milk and PB2. Then 24oz black coffee. Lunch was 2tbsp of Jif Peanut butter. Got my PWO in, headed to the gym on the campus where I work-BOOM-Closed for Holiday hours. Do they NOT know how much damage I can cause when jacked up on PWO and no weights to lift? So we headed back to the station and I made an executive decision.....INSANITY IT IS. Guess who meeds some more work? This guy. So with that being said, executive decision number 2- this will be done every shift. If we dont ho to the gym, we do insanity. If we DO go to the gym, we do insanity as well. We are gonna get right!!!! Should be a game changer for me

Day 15 - 253.4 lbs
I'm sick of this. Time to dial it up. Gonna tighten up on the calories this week and go for a little more cardio and see what happens. I am seeing some changes but I know I can do a little better. I can't just sit back and wait for the supps to kick in!

Going for high rep chest and shoulders today. Decent weight, hi rep, short breaks.
Should get things moving.
Food today - chicken and greens.plus 6-8 protein shakes.

Hope all y'all are kicking some keester!

Slowly awaiting the start to my reverse diet to maintenance this Friday. I'm bored of the food, tired of dieting, and the stress of life is making it hard to stay on track. Still haven't had any crazy bonkers cheats, and I will keep it that way. I will be eating for 3 weeks at 200 cals below maintenance before I start cutting again.

The look I had this morning at the gym for shoulders Press.. Should I grab the 85 or the 110 dumbbells. Lol

Got up this morning and rocked out another chapter of Insanity and my calves are already smoked!! Will be back lifting on Wednesday, maybe even tomorrow depending on whether the gym I use when Im off is even open, they had some pipes leaking. But got home, drank a shake and went to bed. Woke up to get ready for my shift and BOOM!!! 219lbs!! Im getting there. I was 221 just a couple days ago!! Im also feeling much "lighter" stomach os feeling flatter and its motivating me to keep it going and to step it up!!

You are a freakin Rock Star!! 215 next week, I can feel it! Then a big 12 point buck and everything will be perfect

Pounded out a high rep workout today. Mixed chesticles and deltazoids. Decided to try to do each one twice a week. As long as I recover between sessions it should be good.

4 excercises averaging 7-8 x15-20

Seated Shoulder Press
Hammer decline press
Hammer incline press
PecDec - single arm and double arm

Nice amount of work, but not too heavy. I'm really feeling it - even in my tris. If I can recover by thursday I'll go again, but with more focus on delts.

Looking forward to some decent upper back work tomorrow.

Cheers and thanks for the inspiration. Fa realz!

Tank999 I think youre doing great! Hows the overall diet doing?

Thanks bro - decent but I'm trying to do better. Decided to start tightening up on the cals a little and up the cardio.....we'll see what happens.

Im with you on the cardio. I was amazed after 2 days of Insanity how bad my legs are smoked!! Especially after playing racquetball so much. One of my favorite suppers after shakes only throughout the day is at Wendys. Its the Mediterranean Power chicken salad with an
extra chicken breast. 490 total calories, 67 protein and only 46 carbs. Just dont put the dressing on, but its got chic peas and quinoa and added hummus for some off the chain flavor!! Just a suggestion

Much appreciated. I don't do restaurants right now both because I'm being maniacal about carbs, and because fast food has been my downfall in the past.

Shoulder/Back today..

Weigh in this morning 218

Waistline measurement 33

Fuark dude. You have a smaller waist than me and weigh more than 50 pounds more. Next level shiz.

You are going to kick it up!? I am excited about this and confused. You were downing 4 protein shakes and a light dinner last I read. Pretty hard core. If you are gonna bring more to the table I need to see this!

Brother, you are a dedicated guy. In am afraid you and tank are going to out crazy me. You two are heavy hitters.

I had a gf who's dad used to have that look all the time. Scared the carp outta me when I first met him. If he was jacked like you I probably would have cried. He turned out to be a super great guy - but if you have a daughter, that is the look you want.

Thanks a Million! My Cycle starts next month and I will be logging it..

Whaaaaa??? My hero is assisted? I am crushed. Not. I am excited to see what's next.

My job at EMS about requires me to eat fast food a LOT!! Hurry up and eat and then sit and the truck and wait.

Nothing takes less time to prepare than not eating anything.

You guys are all doing a ton of hard work in here. In am proud of everyone.

Day 16 - 253 lbs
I feel good today for a change - i mean in da brain! I realized today that my clothes are fitting much better, I'm looking more "peeled", and I'm seeing muscle and bone that I almost forgot I had! Oh, and some cool person of the chicklette persuasion wanted to know how come my arms were so pumped if all I was working was back - to which I got to say - they always look pumped!

Upped the cardio a tad....nothing crazy; about 15 minutes extra.

Today's food: 5-7 protein shakes, 2 tbsp coconut oil, grilled chicken brestisiz, broccoli/cauliflower spicey salad. I figure it between 3-400 cals less than usual.

Todays workout: upper back. Ok, SOMETHING kicked in dunno what, cause the weights were feeling much lighter. Anyhoo....
Hammer shrugs
Hammer low rows
Bent over rows
Pull downs
All decent weight for high reps

Pull ups
And a new one: single arm BB dedz. Started light with 135 just to get the movement down. Felt good.

Hope everyone's having a great one

Catching up from my vacation here. Y'all are killing it! BEAST73, dude you are truly a beast. Looking amazing, bro. FireTitan, love your dedication on this man. So glad your results are coming on strong now!

First weigh in for a while was yesterday after my visit to family in Chicago...
I'm not sure how this could be, but holy crap, I weighed in at 216.0

The only thing is, the mirror is not reflecting the weight increase in my gut at all, on the contrary, it looks flatter, so it must be water retention and additional muscle in there somewhere.

---

Legs Pre workout routine
- Coffee
- 1 cup of Oatmeal + PA
- Peak 02 (2 grams w/ water)
- Powermax XT
- Follidrone 2.0 (2 caps, 30 minutes before eating)

Legs
Start time 4:20a

Squats (Pause)
3 x 135 x 10

Hack Squat (Pause)
3 x (6 45s) x 12

Extensions / Curls SS
3 x 160 x 10

Calf Raises
3 x (6 45s) x 15

Stop time 5:00a

15 minutes of cardio on recombinant bike

Post Workout
- Whey Protein (ON, Hydro Isolate)

Notes / Observations:
- This was a straight up and down routine with a pause thrown in at the bottom of each rep to stress the stretch and contraction. I found with the reduced set structure it was quite appropriate and effective.
- My muscles gave way far before I could have from the standpoint of cardio and if I had more time I would have done more cardio which I find enticing. I may hit another cardio session this evening.
- The subtraction of BCAA was intentionally done in order to better test PEAK O2, and at this point it is hard to tell the difference between the (Adding PEAK O2 to my BCAA) and leaving the BCAAs out. I was a little bit more shaken at the end of my routine today, but that could have been due to over-exhausting my muscles through pausing each rep.
- I will continue on tomorrow, and moving forward a few more workouts using only PEAK O2 for intra w/ water, unless otherwise advised by The Solution or pending further advise that could help in determining the my respondence to PEAK O2. At the very least, I’m confident, this product has no less found a home with me JUST for the immune function alone, and that is incredible.

Tomorrow / Thanksgiving
Back / Shoulders
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends on AM!

Friday

Thank you Sir!! Tomorrow will be a true test. Although I do plan on eating 1 single slice of pumpkin pie, I am hoping to eat nothing else but turkey and greens. I will have to focus hard on not killing all the other goodies!!

Im sure its water retention and it will drop off. Youre still doing great and I still love reading what you put down!! Dont let up! Hope your trip went well and hope your Chicago Firefighter brother loved his gift!

Weighed in at 217 this morning but I know why. I shot a buck last night, a MONSTER buck and didnt realize how thick the briars and shrubs he was walking in was and after walking 2.5 hours through that crap with all my hinting clothes on, I was soaking wet, as in I had to literally peel the clothes off when I got home. So im sure the weight will pop back up a bit after drinking my water all day. And no, I did not find him, the owner of the land will be searching today. D@mnit. But I will drink a couple of shakes today and my main meal will be lunch as I am cooking an Apple Bourbon BBQ deer shoulder for the shift so we can feed the Chief. On another note, the County I work EMS for is having a " maintain dont gain" contest where the winner( whoever gains the least amount through January 4) wins a $100 gift card. This guy here is planning on winning because where all the fat SSEs I work with will think no more than a 5lb gain will win, I will be the guy whos lighter at the end....much lighter!!!

Feeling feathery light and dry today. Mirror results are really great. I haven't weighed myself yet, but I've been generally consistent with my 1000 kcal deficit for almost 7 weeks now (with 2-3 days of maintenance due to "cheats" on this training cycle). Friday can't come any faster. Honestly, I can't sustain this deficit with all the stresses of my life right now (needing to find a place to live, etc). By the time I finish reverse dieting I will probably not have a gym to go to (or a real one anyway) so I've been doing quite a bit of reading with super high frequency bodyweight bodybuilding (similar to gymnasts) and it looks like fun stuff. It'll be crazy for me to abandon the barbell training I've become comfortable with for over 3.5ish years, but eh, maybe it's a good way to have a contrast period of time to really let me break plataeus. My body comp to strength ratio at this body weight is the best it has ever been, and yes, I said these words during my Invictus log a few months back, but this just shows what proper dieting/training can do for you. It leads to breaking plateaus you never thought you could break, but it's pretty energy consuming for me (as I am usually not interested in counting calories).

All I got out of this was MONSTER BUCK! Pics of said buck??

Couldnt find it. I watched him take 4 steps then lay down, but spent 2 hours looking. Doe ran right by him and he didnt move. But it was ridiculously thick with briars and brush so I dont know if I just couldnt see him or if I missed him and he just layed down to hide.
