6 Week Fat Loss Challenge

Day 11 - 254 frikin lbs!
One of them days that drives me absolutely NUTS! I haven't cheated, I haven't missed a workout - and my weight "fluctuated up" 3 frikin lbs - logically I know it's all cool and will hopefully drop down within a day or so - but it still drives me nuts!

Ok. Did my cardio. Worked some. Heading out to the gym to do some chest.

Upping water intake today - counterintuitive, but it helps get rid of water. Gonna watch my sodium intake.

Shakes all day and chicken with greens this evening.

May the force be with you

Dieting and training properly is tough enough, but lately things in life haven't really been going my way. Along with many other circumstances, yesterday someone hit my car while it was parked. Fun stuff....ah well. Just gotta keep moving along. This diet is going too well for me to go to food for comfort.

Sorry to hear that bro - good on you that you're staying on track.

Yeah, it is counterintuitive to drink more water to get rid of water but it works, lol, also maybe try some Dandelion Extract. Got some cheap and it tastes pretty good too. Taking 1 ml 3x per day. It's good stuff. Sodium is not your enemy, and your body will adjust If you reduce too much you lose strength.

Sh1t. and
Comfort food. Just call it a cheat day and do it right my man!

Anybody know anything about the bio cor thyro t2 fat burner that keeps popping up?

Only Liquid Labs T2 which I've been taking for two weeks. Recommended dose of 350-400 daily. T2 (3,5) can be suppressive of your TSH but I recall it taking 100 times the dose of T3 to suppress. The problem with T2 I've also been reading, you will realize the side effects (neg) before reaping the benefits of an increased metabolism and internal thermogenic response.

I'm wondering what the real difference in bioavailability of Liquid Labs T2 (3,5) they carry compared to the BioCor Thyro-T2 (3,5). Same dose.

I agree with the rest and not a crappy workout. Crappy workouts will kill your mojo for an entire week!
I RARELY get sick, knock on wood. This is the first time ive felt like this in I cant tell you how long. I like Vitamin c as well, but I think my lack of sickness is due to my job. Im constantly dealing with sick people and always exposed to whatever is floating around. Almost like Im partially immune. Lol

I think dealing with the public here as well, (not as many sick people you do) but I'm also that guy who will see a mint on the sidewalk, pick it up and eat it... I've done worse. This one guy at work was being a d1ckhead, and eating an open faced sandwich from SB telling me how good it was. He knew I was cutting.. So, it fell face down on the ground right then. I picked it up, brushed it off, and ate it in front of him. I said "Yeah, delicious.".

Nothing wrong with challenging your immune system my man! Keeps you strong like bull. :D
Be safe out there!

T2 supplements have let me down really. It isn't worth messing with your thyroid for such little benefit. And I HAVE messed with my thyroid - I've dosed all kinds of T2 (both 3,3 and 3,5) up to 1.2 mg - not worth it. On the other hand, even T3 at 100 mcg didn't really do a lot for me...

I am so glad I'm not the only one that happens too. Wake up, weigh yourself, eat nothing for 6 hours, weigh yourself again and you're 2 pounds heavier, defying the laws of thermodynamics (except you then realize you've had water/coffee). Then you figure it will come off the next morning and you've had 800 calories for the day and the next morning you're another 2 pounds heavier.....happens to me all the time. I weigh myself so often that I've gotten used to it and kind of know what to expect...which is the opposite of the advice a lot of people go with ...weighing 1X per week or something.

Brother, I hear ya. I bought a car which was used but almost new and like new, in April of this year. 4 weeks after I bought it I was pulling into a parking spot and ALREADY IN THE SPOT, when the old gar in the car next to me swung his door open and totaled the front quarter panel on my car. He wasn't even looking. We've all made mistakes, so the process of, "WHAT THE F!!!! Eh, it's just a car and a simple mistake, we've all done that" ran through my head and even though I was upset about my car that I'd barely had for a month, I got out to talk to the guy and didn't even get around the front of my car to see how bad the damage was when he started to yell at me and tell me I was going too fast. I was dumbfounded. I looked and said, "Ummm....too fast? I was next to you in a parking spot. Not to mention I had to stop to let a car go by before I pulled in 10 feet away."

The best part? He wasn't going to give me his license and registration at first and then when he finally did, I turned around to snap a photo of it with my phone and when I turned back, his door was open into my car again!!!! So I just took a photo of that too (I had already photo'd the original damage). When the insurance got involved I just said, "The guy's old and had no clue what was going on. He hit my car a second time 10 minutes after the accident, here's the photos" and he laughed so hard and found me not at fault....but it was a hassle.

Maybe it's time to ask the captain to change the uniforms to yoga pants. You know to show off the assets. :)

Solid workout!
I also did chesticles today - but pushed the reps more than the weights.
Did Hammer press/incline/decline (about 5x10 each)
PecDec 5x10
Push ups 2x25
It was enough
Party on!

Day 12 - down to 253
Thankfully weight dropped again after yesterday's hiccup - I was just gonna switch to weekly weigh ins if the scale continued to drive me nuts.

Did my pre weekend food prep last night so I don't get tempted by the delicious stuff everyone elses is eating - 12 chicken legs, slab of salmon, a trout. All spiced, broiled, and ready to eat. Add greens and I'm g2g. Only 1-3 shakes a day on weekends.

Heading out to do cardio. Later gonna gym on some light skwatz n dedz. Maybe some pull ups. Some precherz too. Why not.

Hope everyone's feeling good and has a great weekend.

And of course - welcome back hairygrandpa !

Sounds like a plan homie!!

Managing life and this diet/training is really tough, but this motivation of this thread and the vague enjoyment I'm getting out of looking at my body comp changes in the mirror are keeping me on track! Still haven't cheated since last time and I don't plan on it. Weighed in at 200 dry this morning, down from 211 6ish weeks ago.

This is what I'm talking about man. 11 pounds in 6 weeks is REAL progress. You have moved the needle. 18 pounds is REALLY hard, and no one has done it in 6 weeks....but you have pushed and 11 pounds is REALLY impressive.

It always kills me when people say, "You shouldn't lose more than 2 pounds per week." - like they think "I could lose 3-4 pounds a week, but that isn't healthy." No. Losing MORE than 2 pounds a week takes a TON of effort.

Again, great job ma70 - thanks for carrying the torch! Everyone in here is helping everyone else and it's great.

Yup. I am hovering somewhere around 12-13% right now I think. Not too lean to be seeing negative effects of 1000kcal deficit dieting. I will be doing a 2 week diet break soon (10% under new daily maintenance) then switch to UD 2.0.

I started "phase 2" of my recomp using a sh1tload of peptides to grow me some muscles -hopefully heal nagging injuries and losing fat in the process.

I'm running MK now also lol. Along with DMZ.

Trest, MK + DMZ?
Sounds like real fun!
DMZ treated me well in the past, Trest is one of my favorite.

No more MK for me....
-hunger like crazy
-later bloat like crazy
-insomnia
-nerve pain
Going with CJC 1295 + Dac, has all the same sides besides the hunger :P

I was getting bloated but I backed off the dose a little and switched to before bed instead of morning. I was thinking about CJC with DAC though.

Last night I ended up with 223 protein, 990 calories and only 36 carbs. Felt a bit groggy when I woke up, but Im over it. Started my back routine at 0600 and only had an hour. BUT..20 minutes into it and BOOM, pager goes off for a med call. Stroke. Workout ruined. But, the little bit I got done was made to count. After reading some insight from smith_69 about traps training, I decided to do the same with everything I work. Slow the reps, lighten the load and concentrate hard on the muscle that Im working. What. A. Difference!!! Thanks smith. I got home and weighed in(after my shake unfortunately) but was still down to 221!! I think I had been back to 227 when I rededicated myself to his cut. So definitely going in the right direction. The other thing I noticed is the veins running from my wrist all the way up to my shoulder are now showing all day, not just during my workout. Happy with that!! 15 more lbs to burn baby!! I got this. And you guys- youre all rockin the ish outta this and Im proud to be a part of this and yall!

Proud of you bro! Your losing weight as fast as I'm gaining lol.

I can eat the H3LL outta some deer bro!! Extremely lean protein, zero carbs in and helluva good taste

Meat all day even if dieting. No carbs...minimal fat....sounds like a win to me

I know! But in all honesty I am WAY underdressed. Im dressed for 70 degrees and it dropped down to 50 FAST. Almost out of daylight and its blowing 20mph winds, doubt ill see anything

Well not with that attitude, Negative Nancy
