What is "automatic" voter registration? You mean you are automatically registered upon your first vote? How is the option for party/opt-out?

Never-mind, they say what they want right there.

They got some idea's there, but the more electronically we get the more that creeps me out when it comes to voting. #1 thing we need is ID, ID, ID!

I dont see what the big deal is about just registering to vote anyways, I can see how voter registration on election day is both lazy and will cost millions of voters more time at the polling stations do to high traffic. We can lose voters simply because they dont wanna wait so long trying to vote because people are too lazy to register the other 364 days a year unless you were born on Nov. 8 of course make that the only exemption. Registering should consist more of a simple driver's license as it doesnt prove citizenship, unless they electronically start adding that to ID's.

Automatic voter registration at the polling place doesn't leave time to vette whether that person is actually legally allowed to vote, before their vote is cast. It's bad enough already when registrars know there are issues of eligibility in areas like California with motor voter registration laws. They have the time to check an applicant's eligibility, but just refuse to do it.

Here's a good read from September pointing out why Trump was leading then, and why he won. Trump got more black and Hispanic votes than Romney, despite the lefty media's attempt to influence those voters with fear mongering. As the writer states, "the media (and the left) take Trump litterally, and the voters take him seriously." Trump beat Clinton in heavy democrat states full of middle class blue collar people that were tired of the last 8 years and where they ended up.
 
Look guys,

I don't like the man, and don't like his policy proposals (when he actually has them). However, if I see positive changes I'll admit it.

The issue is that first of all, he hasn't even entered office yet and it is just as foolish to call him a success as it is to call him a failure at this point.

Secondly, I won't be holding my breath :)

Even if any of these ads actually exist and call for paid protesting, anybody can create them and put them on something as public as craigslist. More than likely, people would be doing it as a joke or simply to cause drama.

If they've never done it before, I would hope that they wouldn't start now. I can't see them changing the course when there's such a huge margin of electoral votes between Trump and Clinton. Granted it's a different group of people. Does it not count for anything that Clinton conceded and gave up her right to contest the election?

I hope not and not just to avoid having Hillary as President. Personally, I disagree with using an electoral college, but there is plenty of time to address that concept between elections.

The one to elect Clinton over Trump? It's nonsense from a legal standpoint. It has what, 2 million "signatures" which can be easily faked? Both Trump and Clinton got 5+ million votes in an actual election, so the petition is useless nonsense unless it has more "signatures" then either candidate, and even then, who knows how many are actual US citizens. If it's to go with popular vote instead of the electoral college, it'd still only apply to future elections if it was passed; you can't change the structure of the election on an ex post facto basis.

I find it comical that people are up in arms about Trump's "associates" but don't really care who Obama has had in his cabinet or as advisors, or close friends over the years.
