I think most people want a job and there dignity back. a lot that are on welfare in Oklahoma were not raised on it and don't want to be on it. Clinton lost all 77 county's in Oklahoma and we have about 12 county's that usually always go democrat.

Thats not my point, the point is you lack ethical integrity when it comes to your solutions.

I honestly am not sure what we will get out of Dump, but if he sticks to cleaning up the genocidal mess Hitleries policies HAVE created (the one you think is the solution to Dump) then thats good from that perceptive. Me, I have ethical integrity because I did not vote as Dump for the solutions.

Why dont you put all this energy you have inside of you and go to community college, get a criminal justice degree in 2 years and become a cop where you can be on the streets and really contribute to society and help make change? Being a cop can help set you up the future where you can organize communities and address these issues.

I've already got a Master's. I'm too old to be a cop in most cities.

I actually did try to be a cop in a small town when I was unemployed. I scored the highest on their civil service exam than anyone they had seen, and they didn't hire me, LOL.

I have other ways to give back, thanks. I do my best to volunteer anyway I know how.

I had a good friend experience the same thing about 15 years ago. they told him they only had one spot open and they had to hire a black person. he was kind of pissed that they didn't tell him and the other 10 or so ahead of time that scored higher than the black person.

It worked out OK he now works for the FBI. but not so well for his marriages! LOL

Former Congressman and Libertarian icon Ron Paul issued a warning to President-elect Donald Trump Friday, saying that neocons and shadow government figures are going to attempt to infiltrate and influence his presidency and prevent him from achieving successful change.

 “Unfortunately, there has been several neoconservatives that are getting closer to Trump. And if he gets his advice from them then I do not think that is a good sign,” Paul told RT anchor Peter Lavelle.



“We look at the president, we look at what he said, we look at what he might do when you look at his advisors,” Paul said.

“But quite frankly there is an outside source which we refer to as the ‘deep state’ or the ‘shadow government’.” Paul warned.

“There is a lot of influence by people which are actually more powerful than our government itself, our president,” the congressman said.

“Yes, Trump is his own guy, more so than most of those who have ever been in before. We hope he can maintain an independence and go in the right direction. But I fear the fact that there is so much that can be done secretly, out of control of our apparent government and out of the view of so many citizens,” Paul urged.

Paul touched on the potential to radically alter US foreign policy to be less interventionist and hawkish, something he has long been an advocate for.

“During the campaign, he did talk a little bit about backing off and being less confrontational to Russia and I like that.” Paul noted.

“He criticized some the wars in the Middle East at the same time. He believes we should accelerate the war against ISIS and terrorism, without showing he has an understanding of what causes terrorism.” Paul added.

The former Congressman also warned that wars and military interventions can sometimes be forced upon a sitting President by dark actors.

“Sometimes the false flags and the unintended consequences are beyond the control of even a sincere President that would prefer that not to happen.” Paul noted.

Paul said that he believes it will be difficult for Trump to break the US away from NATO, as the candidate suggested he would do.

“Get the United States out of NATO, we should have never joined.” Paul said, noting that the long term goals of the US was to stay out of entangled military and political alliances.

“I’m optimistic in the long run, but it’s going to be messy in the short run,” Paul said, adding “The odds of Trump winning that argument are very slim.”

Paul also warned that Trump’s temperament on the international stage should not be taken lightly.

“He does not like to get pushed around so if it looks like we’re getting pushed around in the world his reflexes will be rather quick and they are not going to be wishy-washy, and that should concern people as well,” Paul said.

Trump try's to surround him self with the best not his friends or the ones he owes favors to from donations or foundations. They may become friends over time but he always looks for the best. that is what made him successful, surround yourself with excellence.

Why does this lib get it and many others don't? Because he decided to actually turn off his progressive agenda driven filter, and actually talk to people and consider what they are actually saying and going through.
 
So Gary Johnson beat the 3rd party election record with over 4.12 million votes (still counting) up from 1.2 million in 2012.

2 days later I have not a drop of regret of the decision I made to vote for Gary, although he is not my cup of tea personally. This is a victory!

Now its time to keep growing the movement in the right direction and try to get on those debates in 2020!!!! Hopefully we will have a far more charismatic and non-creepy leader then. Rand Paul LEAVE the republican party please!!!
 
Remember the GRUB Hub CEO telling Trump supporters they need to quit? Their stock is down over $3/ share since then. I guess he didn't learn from Target's mistake. Or the NFL's. FUNNY note about Roger Goodell, is he can't figure out why viewership is in the toilet. He thinks shortening the games will fix his problem. Another business leader out of touch. Makes me laugh.

Correction, I thought Ross Perot had bigger #'s....he did run as an "I" in 92 (14 million votes,) but reform party in 96 with 8 million which would definintly count as 3rd party although he had to run as an "I" in many states.

Gary simply broke the Libertarian record, but this is good sign for things to come.

NFL has turned to crap, the quality of play has significantly deteriorated since they turned to what was supposed to be a violent game into flag football.

I think more people are pissed because the circus sideshows they allow, along with all the felons that have been in the league. Couple that with not allowing the Dallas Cowboys place a small rememberance sticker on their helmets to remember the assassinated Dallas police officers. Does washed up Kapernick have the right to "protest" on the job? Sure, but many employers wouldn't put up with it. And it's the viewers' right to wash their hands of the NFL and watch them scratch their heads trying to figure out why the viewers went away.

Yeah there is a political circus going on the NFL for sure...Im sick and tired of politics being in sports, I just want sports to get away from real life and enjoy a game.

That Kapernick thing he can do whatever he want and his employer can do whatever they want with him, but the fact they kept the cameras on him rather than the person singing that national anthem and our flag shows this is what the NFL wants you to be thinking about.

And he's not even officially in office yet.
 
And now the Tea Party is getting mad at Trump about all the possible "insiders" that could end up being part of his Cabinet and/or advisers.

Yeah I heard that last night....flip flopping too damn soon!

Anyways, I always tell people there isnt much difference between Republican and Democratic policy. Obamacare was only going to get replaced with Obamacare just a different name just like Romneycare became Obamacare.

There is not going to be any real dramatic changes in policy. The IRS will still be here, although if he changes the tax code the way he campaigned on it would be both a miracle and extraordinarily awesome. The Federal Reserve will still be here, our currency will still be the unconstitutional paper currency backed by nothing, the wars will not end w/ 8 years of Dump, the war on drugs continues as the CIA drops off coke and heroin here in the states, DoE will still be here, NSA and privacy will still be the same issue if not worse....BIG GOVERNMENT will continue mostly as usual.

Change is good, and I hope I see some of it but Ill sit back and watch hope for the best but this country will not be drastically different under Dump vs. Obama. If Im wrong that would be a good thing.

If you noticed I really didn't directly engage much yesterday.

The healthcare plan I read isn't a flip flop if they still repeal the entire thing. His plan is to allow kids to stay on parents policy till 26, no real big deal here, as long as the feds aren't subsidizing it. Make companies cover pre existing conditions. OK, still no big deal, as long as there's no subsidy tax payers are paying for. Thaose are the only two points I've seen he wants to keep. Eliminating the state wide restriction on insurers will go a long way to encourage competition and lower prices. That will result in more "customers" buying their insurance, and therefor cover any additional costs of the pre existing condition claims. Also removing the federal mandate to buy insurance, creating artificial demand which is served by very limited supply in the current state, will force companies to lower prices. Considering prices are going up precisely because more people are opting for the tax penalty, they have a smaller cust base, and revenues never were realized. Trump said he wants to make insurance costs tax deductible like mortgage interest. Plus he wants to allow health savings accounts to be tax deductible for people that just want to pay for health care as they need it, instead of paying for monthly health insurance. Right now health savings accounts can't roll over year to year, and if you have money left in it, you lose it and have to start over. That needs to change also. The health savings accounts I'm not 100% sure on what his proposal is.

So repealing obamacare, and passing new legislation that has these points without all the other hidden taxes and penalties isn't a flip flop.

I'd say a new health insurance Law that covers those 4 or 5 points I just listed that he said is much better. I don't know why you think that's not considered repealing and replacing obamacare.

And you're acting like a sore loser like the rest of them are. You're trying to attack him saying he's flip flopping, when he's not. He hasn't changed his tune on Obamacare being a horrible train wreck, it is. PRE existing conditions and keeping kids on your policy aren't what made it the train wreck.

They may not. But why penalize people that have the income to put into them? ARE you saying since poor people don't have the income to put into ine, no one should be able to maximize them?

Nope, just saying that poor people are most impacted by higher premiums and won't benefit from HSAs.
