Starting 8 Week Cycle 1/4 andro questions

Went to lift today and my outer elbows kill me when I bench like I couldn't bench at all? Is that considered dry joints or something else. Could I run to dollar general and get generic joint support to make they go away. It hurt bad. Normally do 250. Couldn't do the bar without pain

I know it's sometimes hard to explain but What kind of pain was it?

I'm really not sure. It's definitely not just being sore. It hurts when I get to the top of the press and when I re rack and let go it stings awful.

No there's not any of that. Just hurts when I go to lock out. And when I re rack my triceps will have a sharp sting. Not being sore just a stinging feeling when I re rack the weight and let go of the bar. Talked to pharmacist about the elbow pain. She just said round the clock ibuprofen.

Also, I forgot to mention it but ever since about week 6 of my cycle when benching I have a sharp pain in both my triceps once I rerack the weight and let go of the bar. The pain comes from when I let go of the bar and its a sharp pain that last about 3 seconds and then everything is good again. Is that normal? Do i need to do anything regarding that. Only discomfort I've had this cycle is the tricep pain when releasing the bar and then the newly acquired outer elbow pain when benching at the start of PCT.

Might be acute tendonitis.
Have you tried using an elbow support?
Oh, and are you taking any joint supports or fish oil?

Personally, I have started using wrist wraps to continue lifting while watching form and my elbow pain is gone. Only way I can describe it was that it felt like a dull ache, like a headache in my elbow. No tri pain was involved though. Try wrist wraps or an elbow sleeve and lower the weight if its a bit much. Focus towards trying to prevent injury. It took me a few weeks to notice a decrease in pain. It's pretty much gone but I have a few "reminders" if for slips a little.

I haven't taken any joint support or fish oil. Started ibuprofen around the clock in case it's inflammation

NSAID's might have a negative effect on muscle gains. Some inflammation is a good thing in regards to gains and ibuprofen will target all inflammation. So you're better off with the natural joint supports, fish oils and getting yourself an elbows strap or wrap

This. I lift by myself three days a week and play with a strongman coach on Saturdays. When I told him I was taking ibuprofen for the same thing he told me the same thing. Then to suck it up.

I gotcha I'll get some more fish oil. Do fish oil pills expire. I still have a jar of them from a year ago ha

They all expire/go rancid, but if they look and smell o.k then they're usually fine. You could add some fatty fish into your diet as well, that'll be even better because you'll get vits, mins and protein from it too.

Only pain that I still have is in my left outer elbow. Hurts when benching and when shooting basketball. Tricep pain still exists when I re rack the weight and release the bar but I think that's because the weight is heavy. Hurts worse the heavier the weight.

Try some pre-fatigue training to rehab your elbow. So try doing flyes before your bench presses so that your Chest fails before your Triceps on your bench presses. This way you'll still get the same Chest training stimulus but wont have to go as heavy or agitate your elbows as much to get it

Question: I've been on PCT for about a week, and I'm wondering how long it should be before my sex drive is back to normal. No major problem just wondering when I should be back to normal as far as that goes.

It's going to take different times for different people and how well your body reacts to the PCT you're running. Libido is usually back pretty quickly, I'd say it's back in full swing by about the end of week 3
