Donald Trump running for president

For some reason, this reminded me of the people who get upset when you say "Merry Christmas," as if it somehow diminishes or disrespects other holidays. I suppose saying Merry Christmas shouldn't be taken to mean "screw Hanukkah," and "black lives matter" shouldn't be taken to mean that white lives don't. BLM just needs to put real emphasis on ensuring that idiots who are using it as excuse to riot and loot aren't associated with what the movement should be (peaceful).

One of the founding people of BLM's main inspiration is a wanted fugitive cop killer. Maybe they should fix themselves before fixing other bad associations.

Oh god, not more libertarian propaganda......

However, I could see myself living in several of those countries in the top 10. Sweden and Norway are two of my preferred places to live if I could.

I just don't trust the Cato Institute. The Koch brothers are awful people.

Kock brothers and anything related to it are not Libertarian fyi.

Have you seen some of their policy positions? They support child labor, for one. They're also climate denialists (wonder why?), support the right to deny blacks the vote, and support the right to corrupt legislators.

They oppose public schools, trade unions, environmental regulation to name a few.

Some of their positions I can agree with, but most of them are kinda out there.

And just for a bit of added cognitive dissonance, they also support the existence of global warming, while still being anti-environmental and spreading global warming conspiracy theories.

Alot of those are really good common sense views actually, some of them have nothing to do with libertarianism.

We could make America great again if we round up and deport all of Trump's voters

We could make America great again simply by deporting all fat people in this country, but then there would be a global famine and we would have illegals climbing Dump's wall in record breaking numbers.

I've posted plenty of studies or articles on things you just dismiss as right wing nut job conspiracy. Again, the GAO only does a study on the material provided to them. Just like the non partisan CBO that said Obamacare would save everyone $2500 and cost less than a trillion dollars. All based on the numbers fed to them by the Democrats that comissioned the study.

Don't worry, you can keep your doctor....if you leave the country and bring him with you. Yes we can!

I'll have to dig into this a bit more.

Trump apparently hired actors for his campaign announcement as well:

So having extras are as bad as having operatives planted to ask questons because you can't risk being asked about Clinton's history of criminal behavior. Got it. Thanks for educating me.

You're welcome :)

Mike Pence is an *******, btw. People think he's such a "nice" guy, but he has voted for and supported some very questionable crap.

Oh, and he also doesn't believe in evolution. So there's that.

BTW, I never said your article was false. Yet. I need to look into it a bit more.

Oh, and he also doesn't believe in evolution. So there's that.

He also has strong religious beliefs. Dont get me wrong, I dont personally understand how someone can deny evolution, but if someone has that strong of a religious belief then it is what it is. Dont act like it makes him some sort of moron just because he follows the teachings of his religion, whether they are "correct" or not.

Sorry, dude, but IMO people who don't believe in evolution are willfully ignorant. I'm so tired of the anti-intellectualism from the right. They act like it's a bad thing to become educated. If people can tell me I'm going to hell for not believing in God, I reserve the right to tell them they are idiots for not believing in evolution. 1st amendment, baby!

He also lets those "strong religious beliefs" shine in his policies. I suspect it's more for show than actual conviction, though. I am a firm believer in separation of church and state. If you don't want me to denigrate the absurdness of your religious practice(s), don't try to legislate morality. I'd say the same thing to people of any religion: Islam, Judaism, etc.

It's not the first time she planted questions.

Oh wow, a source from CNN? I see you trust them when it is in your favor.

I've never said Hillary is beyond reproach, and I don't like her. I'd just like Trump supporters to admit that HE LIES ALL THE TIME!!!!!

He is a jackass without question. However, he came out looking better from the debate than Kaine. Kaine looked off and infantile at times.

These are the more realistic numbers. For shame for not doing your homework Hillarybot ;)

Eh. Fair enough. Truthfully, i feel the same way you do about it. Just trying to play devil's advocate i guess.

Im just trying to be more "tolerant" of however people choose to live their lives. But, like you said, I guess it becomes and issue when he uses some of those ideals in the creation of the laws which we are supposed to abide by.

Exactly. Here's just one example:

Not to mention the "Religious Liberty" law in Indiana.

I refuse to sit idly by any more when people attack valid scientific research just because the results conflict with their belief system. I've played the nice guy for too long, having to smile and nod while people spew ridiculous BS ;)

Looked better? LOL it was proven that everything he had said were lies.

Considering that pretty much everyone involved in this Presidential race lies all the time, I would say that it's very possible for someone here to "look better" and lie, since the only real alternative is lying and looking worse; you don't really believe that Hillary/Kaine are honest candidates, right? I will admit that the Trump/Pence lie a lot as well though.

Everything? Lol...we have seen a total of 2 debates and less honest statements between both parties. How anyone can choose either of these 2 is beyond me.

From your politifact article..
Resources should be directed toward those institutions which provide assistance to those seeking to change their sexual behavior."

Last I checked, sexual behavior and sexual orientation are not the same thing. Say a drug addict sleeps around in order to score drugs, and decides they want to change their sexual behavior and get off the roller coaster to rock bottom. You don't think the state should provide resorts to help that person?

I understand libs are good at changing the meaning of words in order to fit their agenda, so I'm not mad at you. :)

I heard Kaine refuse acknowledging himself as a "man."

This "person" is more than likely going to be our president after Hitlery croaks, can imagine him confronting Putin, would love to hear that conversation.

"Conversation therapy," ROFLLLL!!!!!!!

Nothing like the "thought police!" We should just paint our flag all red and throw a golden star on it.

More good news on the Obama recovery. He not only is the only president not to see 3% growth at any point during his presidency, his last year is going backwards. The IMF is downgrading the projections under 2% for 2016.

It's almost as though people hate Obama that they celebrate anything that can smear him; validity is unimportant. I've never understood people that get off seeing struggles.

I'm hoping that you also saw that the overall economic growth slowed and it wasn't just because of the US.

So, Trump will fix this? How?

Of course he didn't see that. His blind hatred of Obama and "liberals" prevents that.

I'm just pointing out the fact the the administration has been touting this "recovery" as the greatest since the great depression, when it clearly isnt. The article talks about how the labor force participation rate pretty much nullifies the claimed unemployment rate. Many other countries that are having even modest growth have a higher labor participation rate. Nearly every month, the administration comes out with new job numbers, saying how great that we added 100,000 or whatever new jobs. What you NEVER hear is the month or 2 later, they've revised those numbers DOWN, to reflect the accurate number. Many months have been revised downward, and all you ever hear on the news is when they announce the newest numbers. My point is they promote a false reality, and I bothers me when people celebrate how great things are in our economy when they clearly arent.

Before someone suggests the stock market being at record levels, let me remind you about the TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS that the Fed has artificially pumped into it under the years of quantitative easing. The entire thing is another bubble that's going to burst, just like last time, but people will lose more money this go around when it does correct itself and comes back to reality.

Actually, good points.

I'll be sure to report any "poll watchers" that ignore rules at polling stations when I vote.

So, inflated claims of voter fraud are totally credible and "poll watchers" challenging young voter credentials is OK. Got it.

I'll be sure to make sure they follow the rules:

I somehow doubt that only actual poll watchers will be present, I'm sure many Trump voters will take it upon themselves to "appoint" themselves, as Donald Trump is seeming to suggest.

Ok I know you could care less about facts but here goes. How many of those "Bush Benghazi" attacks were full scale long drawn out attacks or one time suicide bombings that were over once the terrorist was dead? Secondly, how many of those embassys requested multiple times, been reported I think 600 times in Benghazi, for more and better security, only to be ignored or told no, prior to those attacks? Thirdly, how many of those bombings were drawn out and had people on the ground begging for back up, only to be told no? How many of those attacks had Bush or his minions going around lying about the actual events surrounding those bombings, in order to create a narrative so as to not disrupt Bush's re-election? And lastly, how many of those events had Bush and his administration actively covering up the facts about them, and covering up the fact they lied about those until an investigation lead to revealing the circumstances around each one?

Ok, fine, I see your point is saying that Republicans are hypocrites, and even if that is the case, it's fallacious logic to take that to mean that what Hillary did is somehow acceptable. Also, what about the people who weren't Bush supporters and opposed all his wars and whatnot; are we allowed to criticize Hillary? Or is no one allowed to criticize anyone anymore because someone else may have done something similar in the past?
