Donald Trump running for president

And that means what exactly?
I whole heartedly open and welcome law abiding, socially, culturally and community responsible people of all races to my neighborhood, schools, churches and home.

People of any race that cannot conduct themselves in law abiding, socially, culturally and community responsible ways are not.

I have indiscriminate issue with red, brown, yellow black and white that don't know how to conduct themselves in a responsible way. The color of their skin does not matter.

If you were my white neighbor and acted with socially, culturally and community irresponsibility I would have issue with you too.

"And that means what exactly?" Quit invalidating the spirit of my point by calling it a tirade and nitpicking the "words" you have hypersensitivity to.

Again, what and or whose values are the values that American should be built on?

I asked the question and you tossed the segregation race card. If you can't answer the question don't and leave it at that.

You more or less subbed in the culture for skin. As in you think that saying you identify people via culture is any better and/or not a form of stereotyping.

I have no sensitivity to any words because they're just that. Don't attempt to think you know where I stand on language and colloquialisms.

Again, since you apparently have ****ty knowledge of history, go back to the beginning of when the colonies were settled. First, it was the natives to these lands and then it was the slaves. Think about it: we have a country founded on complete bull****. "All men are created equal..." coming from a bunch of white, slave owning men is hardly an honest pillar. There's been segregation here literally since the beginning. Women, Blacks, Irish, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, etc. This **** isn't new; the technology is the thing that is.

I was right about you...

Culture -
the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group

culture -
the attitudes and behavior characteristic of a particular social group.

Then you subbed in some scholastic/intellectual bull****.

All men ARE created equal. Many do not know how to conduct themselves regardless of race.

...Dense!

You're calling me dense while avoiding that part I left about the very small history of segregation? Since you want to post definitions, do I need to post the definition of irony to you?

I love how you automatically assume that everyone from the same culture are autonomous and have the exact same attitudes and beliefs. Sounds a little bit like stereotyping to me....

Haha. Now you're an expert on culture.

Please tell me about culture.

Bachelor's in Anthropology with minors in Archaeology and Psychology, also with a Master's in Urban and Medical Anthropology here.

I didn't go straight through college either. I've worked blue collar jobs as well as white collar jobs.

I think what you mean by culture is that they should adopt YOUR culture. Right?

This thread has degraded so much. Not that it was ever really quality to begin with... Approaching 700 pages of name calling, condescension, subtly disguised insults, and more all under the guise of "trolling"
I'm starting to realize that nothing healthy will come out of this for me, so with that, I bid you all adieu.

I cannot for the life of my figure out how a single or couple of "words" makes it so difficult to communicate the spirit and sentiment of my point. For **** sake!?!

Actions have a definition.
A persons actions can define them.
People (of whatever race) can define themselves by the way they act.
People (of whatever race) who act in ways the are anti social, anti community, anti law enforcement, anti productive etc are the object I am referring to.

I am not intending to highlights the race, ethnicity or heritage of anyone. I am emphasizing the actions.

I cannot fathom why either one of you or others continue to hyper focus on a word or words and cannot grasp the spirit of my point and or let a word or words invalidate it.

If you act like an ax hole you're an azzhole...red brown yellow black and white...you're an azzhole.

I discriminate against and want to segregate azzholes.

I cannot continue to engage in conversation when there is such a void in communication between the transmission and reciver frequency. It is frustrating to say the least and at times apparently self incriminating which only further perpetuates miscommunication.

With all due respect and sincerest civility I need to withdrawal from engaging in this self defeating endeavor.

Let the blue collar intolerant uneducated Irish Italian homophobic sexist racist own fault and I'll be done with it.

Best regards!

It's everyone else's fault that you come off as racist, right? I guess it has nothing to do with the consistent undertones that you post along with attempting to justify such a perspective.

So what does that have to do with the history of racial tension in America again? You asked for a consistency of values and I've presented something that has been consistently present yet you continue to walk right over it and ignore it. It's the same crap that's been going on for decades; present a foreign enemy that poses an imminent "threat." Put together a nice little package of promotion and give it a Chairman Mao figurehead and, voila, you get the underbelly coming to the surface.

Trump is a Cult of Personality. It's as simple as that.

I guess the media also created those internment camps in the 40s, Red Scare of the 50s, race riots in the 60s, etc.

The Red Scare was about communism which wasn't an actual issue within the US and that was all in the past. The media creates issues that don't actually exist, there are only race issues now because that's all the media portrays. BLM only exist because they think cops are mostly killing blacks yet statistics show they mostly kill whites. Just because the media can convince the majority of something doesn't make it a fact.

Would not call the red scare a race thing though.

Didn't say it was; it's just another example of a perceived foreign enemy.

Wait, wait, wait...are you suggesting that there's race issues now due to the media?

It may be in the past, but that's called history. You know, the thing that seems to be ignored when it comes to race relations. Please, point me to a time where there weren't race issues in the US.

Some people just say things to start a fight. What happened to those of us that could have a civil conversation that led to more conversation. This new guy in the thread needs to leave

You could just post a rebuttal. Multiple people have replied to me, but have avoided the racial issues question. I wonder why that is?

No I'm saying the media is making people believe there are racial issue within the US. The Us culture has change from that time, individuals don't have the same mindset anymore, racism isn't as openly accepted like it was. How about I'll answer your question once you proven there is a racial issue within the Us.

Trump has been claiming that birther crap for five years. Just saying. Most African Africans see that as a very racist thing.

Yes he did as did his current opponent in 2008. What is ironic in this whole thing, is no one wants to call out HRC for the racist nonsense she has spewed (super predators anyone?). Both are terrible for certain, just one is "terribler" ;)

Manufactured? It's been around forever.
Social media has exploded, along with smart phone usage (Samsung phones literally explode).

Yea its manufactured to be perceived it's on a large scale which can't be proven that's is an actual issue. The Us culture isn't like it was back in the day.

Just the fact that it happens at the prevalence that it does is evidence enough. The media has changed; we are now the media. You can turn a blind eye, minimize, rationalize, etc., but it doesn't change the fact that it's still here.

Dude most randoms out there have no idea who Karl Marx was. I don't know where you're reading this right wing paranoid propaganda from.

Another Trump lie. Imagine that.

Of course, this link will be "biased".

Honestly, I think that Clinton is held to a higher standard than Trump. It's very sexist.

So in a couple of generations racism has completely disappeared?

Just because you haven't experienced racism doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

You are delusional, man.

Anecdotal evidence isn't enough at all, that's why there are statistics. Racism cannot be proven unless it's clearly stated. People get killed by guns but it doesn't at mean there is a gun issue, but a ton of people die from heart disease and statistics prove this. Racism is a individual thing unless someone can prove otherwise.

Spanish, as in from Spain? I'm really confused now, lol.

You say you've experienced racism, yet it still isn't a legitimate issue?

Well to get technical I'm mestizo and mulatto but yes it isn't, only a small amount of people are actually racist but most of them do become law enforcement or individuals in law enforcement become racist. The majority of people within the US are not racist, even if that wasn't so unless said individuals are committing violent crimes with racist tendencies I cannot see it as a legitimate issue. Word are words and that's all, the only issue is that some of these people may go into positions of power which at that point racism isn't the issue but the fact said individual(s) have power over us.

I dont think that people are holding trump to a lesser standard because of gender. Rather he is poeple think they already know what they are getting with him (racist, moderately sexist, says whats on his mind, and doesn't care), wheras hillary tries to put her self on a pedastel and acts like she better then that. When she has proven that she is no different(just more subtle)

See, this is the part that bothers me.

People refuse to say or flat out deny that something is racist or sexist, but a lot of times these are subconscious things that people aren't even aware of.

You really have to be mindful of things and even self-reflective to truly tease out your individual biases. I've had to do it, and still have to to this day. It's really hard to do, actually. It can be painful as well, I think most people don't want to admit that their upbringing and cultural backgrounds figure heavily into their political, religious and social opinions.

And another thing that bothers me is if they know he is racist, moderately sexist, doesn't care, etc., what makes them think that would make a good leader?!

I wont disagree. I do feel you are correct here. I catch myslef doing from time to time(not so much with race but homosexuality). However i would rather take the open racist/prejudice then the person pretends they arent but clearly is.

Why should we take either one, though?

Because that is what this election has come down to. I wish it wasn't the case but it is. Now its just decided which devil is less evil

It's come down to this because we've accepted this via denial, minimization, and rationalization. It's not even lesser of two evils at this point; it's just so the other person doesn't win.

Totally agree. Most people voted not because of the ideals of the candidates but rather lame arbitrary reasons this election. Most people have know idea what either of them stand for. This is what are country(should i say world) has turned into. The vast majority of viters are very uneducated(not just on the candidates but overall).
