Hairygrandpas log, fat- and older people welcome!- diet, training, cycles, healing

In spite of his being handicapped by half his gene pool (not his mom obviously), he should do well if he cleans up his diet. It doesn't look like the fat, bald and hairy has hit him yet. He still has potential!

In all seriousness, you are looking like you are able to f@ck sh1t up yourself HGP. Great job. The bald and hairy has hit you hard, but you have shown the fat the door for sure.

I love you too, HIT4ME ! LOL

Yes, yes. Enough! I get all wet in my pants.

This is what my son looked like 18 month ago (and how HIT4ME will look like after his anorexic diet he is on) :

You know I would still be 25 pounds heavier if not for your support. Unfortunately, you don't need much from me so I just tear you down. Somehow, you seem to respond well to that. But you know I mean well and have faith in you.

Why? You that old that you lose bladder control when you laugh?

I've said you would be a great training partner. Your son's progress is proving me right.

This log is CRAZY! Lol. HG, good looking son - health and energy is wasted on the young! You look great in that last picture!

He eats a lot of crap food, like pizza, bread and burger king trash, almost never hitting the required daily macros.
I don't know how he pulls it off to be so lean, not my genes. His mother is lean too and pretty muscular, it seems he got the right mix of genes from both.

You realize that he is probably pushing more testosterone naturally than you are with the syringe? Heck, probably more than you and me combined (including your TRT)

Yeah, I know I give him a hard time, but it is really hard to believe that guy in the last picture is the same guy on the first page of this log. He isn't going to be able to talk about how everyone else on this board looks like they hatched out of an egg in perfect shape for much longer.

HG, is that your son is in the Nov 2014 picture (at the beach) on the first post? If so, then you can definitely see a huge difference in his body composition to mirror your change (in the same time frame).

Today we prepared soil for planting watermelons at the farm.
Seeing my son working shirtless I got an idea. I'll prep him for a natural BB competition.
18 month ago he looked like a stick insect. If my training got him this far, I can get him in the right condition to compete too.
I called a friend who knows the Bodybuilding scene, he will talk to a guy who trains for something like "Mr. Fitness", that would be the event my son would have the best chances.
My son likes the idea, I told him he will have to wear a speedo and get a tan, LMAO!
What do you guys think? Will we pull this off?

If he wants to put in the work at his age he has a shot. Good metabolism and good start. when my son was 16 he started lifting for football and you couldn't keep a shirt on him or did he ever see a mirror he didn't like. At that age they add so much lean muscle it is not fair!

LOL at the shirt/mirror comment (but completely understand). And I agree that its not fair :)

I lifted, swam, and ran 5 days a week when I was his age. I added ZERO muscle mass. I didn't have the genes or a coach or any understanding of nutrition. I think your son stands a pretty good chance to be successful since he seems to have all 3 of those things.

Well, swimming and running aren't known for bulking people up.

I think you caught him! He was just posing while his son did all the work!

LOL, good catch

You can't dig holes in sandals!

I did about 20% of the work, because the little bugger lost his cellphone and has to work for a new one. By the way, I do everything in sandals, besides working out or swimming. I'm a shorts and sandals guy, I admit.

Thank you, still on my way to look like you. You should take off for some months so I can catch on to you.

Yes, that is probably true, his extended time in the shower and his acne are indicators, lol.

Yes, the stick insect in the picture at page one is him! Here for comparison:

I think so to. At the beginning he looked like a hard gainer but I was wrong. His eating habits are horrible, I bet if he would have followed my advise on diet he would be in better shape, problem is, he is not self conscious enough. I bet he does not realize that he has a pretty good looking body for his age.
It costed me lot of talking to convince him to pose for the camera.

Why would he care about his diet if he can eat what he wants and look like that? I wouldn't, haha.

Short update on cycle, diet, injury:

Cycle:
Dropped everything, I'm now on 150mg Test-E/week, TRT dose.
After dropping the Masteron, my libido shot up. Again, this proves that everyone reacts different to AAS, as Masteron is hailed as libido enhancing by a lot of people.
I'm still not using HGH, as I would find it more beneficial to use when working out and cutting. I don't want to cut while injured, as it could accelerate muscle loss.

Diet:
I'm still on my own diet I "dreamed up", consisting of eating Oats, meat and veggies during the day -and carbs with high glycemic index exclusively after work out -or once per week as alcoholic beverages. No carbs in any form during off days.
So far I noticed, my weight stays the same around 220lbs. This may change when I'm healed again, expecting a recomp from it, defined by the amount of said food consumed.

Injury:

I'm still waiting for the BPC-157 to arrive, tomorrow is delivery day for the courier, hopefully I get it.
The shoulder is better, allowing me more movement, healing takes time and I'm maybe half way to recovery.

Today will be rehab again for 60 minutes, with a short back workout, some abs exercises and cardio, will see how it goes.

Happy to see that you still get to workout - doing nothing would drive me crazy!
How about doing a log, Tank999 would love to see what you are doing!
Worst thing is the depression, I'm over it now, working around the injury and trying not to get fat. I really miss push ups, dips and chins.... but I don't even try, maybe it's paranoia but I'm scared to injure myself further, even though some variations should work.

Gonna get back on it - kept me honest last time I ran one.... I'm going to be running some stuff for a "company" soon so I might just have log it... Meanwhile I just plain enjoy reading the fantastic exploits of you wild and crazeeee people! ;)

As others have said, it is great to see you back active, both on the boards and (in a controlled fashion) in the gym!

Today's rehab went well. I made progress. Some exercises hurt less now and I'm able to stretch the rubber bands more.

Good news are, I did a leg workout again. After being unable for at least 6 month, I did leg extensions and leg curls with moderate weight to failure, even did some rest pause sets to increase the burn. It felt great! I'm still cautious when it comes to squatting -or presses, will keep it slow for now, only doing exercises without discomfort.

Overall mood is up, confidence to, will now scavenging the forum to leave my sarcastic remarks.

bighulksmash - you've definitely paid it forward man. It is great how supporting others helps breed more support. A lot of guys on here have really helped me and I appreciate it - you and HGP are certainly high on the list.

Nice job my man!! Glad you are doing better. Can't wait to see you pushing the weights again with full intensity!

HIT4ME , first I would like to take a moment to say thank you . Thank you for wanting a change ... It gives us purpose to help people . There have been many times I gave up on myself.... Then one day A buddy of mine who used to come see me daily for these magic yello things , I was out of shape depressed and he decided to take his shirt off in front of my house and sadly my wife was there . He looked at me and he said with the most sincerity " YOU CAN LOOK JUST LIKE ME , THE ONLY THING YOUR MISSING IS SELF DISCIPLINE
" then he left and I stood there for a moment . I walked into my house and looked in to the mirror my eyes filled to the point I could not see I told myself to **** off . That was the point where I decided to pick up where I left off. No car accident was going to cripple me for life . I went down to a local supp shop on boston rd in Springfield Ma and bought all the Celtic labs tren a bol they had no cycle support or pct . I ran 6 bottles of that **** along with gnc mega men multi and bsn banana flavor protein . I dropped over 100lbs in 5 months Just in time for summer !!!!

Now almost 8 or 9 year later boom I stand as an inspirational monument to those who lost it all controlled or uncontrolled. Never give up on you dreams .

And to the people who are inspired by us , you guys have no ideahow inspiring it is to see another person stand up and fight !

Great story man. Sometimes our best friends are the people who can smack us in the face with reality and shake us and tell us to "Snap the F out of it!"

Too many people think they're helping when they're being nice to someone. Sometimes, we need that knife to be turned.

For me, I grew up fat. When I was 12 one night around midnight my brother came down stairs - I was watching TV and when he came down I was in the kitchen making not 1, but 2 sandwiches. I was probably 5'4'' and 193 pounds. My brother looked at my plate, looked at me, and in the meanest possible way just said, "That's why you're so fat."

I ate those two sandwiches, reluctantly, and then dropped 50+ pounds in the next 3 months over the summer. Sometimes we just need someone to hit us with the truth.

Damn props to the "yoga model". I am not sure I am limber enough to get into several of those poses :), plus the one where she is holding her weight with just her arms is impressive, even more so given her "size".

Today

Another boring 1 hour shoulder rehab session, after that some back exercises and triceps extensions.
Rehab does work but takes time.

Tomorrow will be abs, legs, traps and some arms.

Over and out.

I can commiserate about "boring shoulder rehab" exercises. Boring and often painful as h*ll. Tomorrow should be a more "fun" day. Hope your recovery continues at what appears to be a pretty good pace!
