this is important for everyone. People forget the Jimmy Carter years or Gerald Ford...hell any leader during my lifetime. It gets better for some and not others. Thats the cyclical nature of it all.

While this is true, the GOP is the only party that prides itself on being focused on the past, on keeping outdated traditions and laws, being non-progressive, and living in the past. They romanticize the past and want to stay in it. It's their credo.

you ever notice how history repeats itself...it's like all those protesters and Bernie supporters are reliving the 60's and 70's---they are not progressive, they are regressive....they are trying to bring back the anything goes liberal movement of the hippies and radicals of my youth...socialism was tried by the hippies-ever hear of communes? and black panthers aint nothing new, seen them before-todays liberals are just stealing ideas of the 60's and 70's-talk about focusing on the past and being non-progressive---todays liberals aint nothing but a bunch of copycats!!!

Why do you keep ignoring the comments about the GOP? Do you not admit they wish to stay in the past? In a long lost non-relevant past?

I don't care if "Liberalism" was big in the 60s-70s, so what? The GOP does not, nor will they ever, enter into this era. But modern/progressive Conservatives will keep jumping ship, likely joining the Libertarians, with their more intelligent counterparts.
 
After this election, I honestly see a death to the GOP as we know it, and a rise of the Libertarian party. Too many Conservatives who are fed up with the status quo of their party. The GOP has been living a slow death for a while now.

Same attitude and actions sure, but you can't say the issues are the same. And the ones that are the same, the extent to which they are being fought for is different. That is the nature of being Progressive. Ok, got a little...keep pushing, keep progressing. It is not an idea that you push for change and then stop and settle in. Society evolves. Humanity evolves (well some of it).

All ya had to do was ask bro! I had a bad breakup with my fiance, and had some friends convince me to move to NYC because they had just moved here too. I was ready to get outta there! Wanted to start fresh somewhere new, somewhere far (but not toooo far). Now ya know!

In all honestly, on all websites, the QOL in Canada is rated much higher than the U.S. I wouldn't have moved here if I wasn't a professional, my prospects and life would've been much better in Canada (and in some ways, still would be).

I'm currently in talks with my lady about marriage, and we both agree not to give up my Canadian citizenship. We're going to aim for dual. She really loves it there, but all her family is here. I love it here too in the US. But I definitely didn't move here just for work/capitalism.

Join the Libertarian movement/party!! They don't believe in interventionism, you'd be a great fit, and we'd welcome ya with open arms! They embolden all things great about Conservatives and Liberals. Freedom of choice, to live how we wish, whilst remaining responsible.

lol...when a pro athlete says it isn't about the money...it's about the money...lol......I understand perfectly though, I would still have strong feelings for my place of birth and upbringing if I were you.....

there once was a time when America was a destination that truly was way above what immigrants were leaving behind. they assimilated into their new lives and never looked back. I think this might be what trump is talking about when he says 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN'.
