Ok guys so I did a delt shot Saturday morning that got swollen and red later on. It's now Tuesday night and my doctor looked at it and was like "well it's definitely inflamed, but not necessarily infected". He wrote me a prescription for antibiotics but suggested I wait a couple days to see what happens before I use them just in case it doesn't turn out to be an infection. Anybody have any experience with sore shots or infections ? Id like to hear your stories ?
 
Yea, which story do you want to hear lol? Pinned my glute swelled up like a motherfuvking ballon. Got worried went to the doctor. Doctor said well we either drain it or give you some antibiotics. Of course I said antibiotics. But I think I just overreacted went down in a few days.

Pinned my delt a few weeks ago. Delt and tricep swelled up like a ballon again, but it was down in 4 days.

Main point is give it at least a week before you make any rash decisions. I know it hurts/looks ridiculous, but as I said I would wait at least 1 full week.

Wow man. That was a fantastic comment that really has eased my anxiety on this whole situation. I been icing my delt to see if it helps. Thanks bro, ill give it a few more days.
 
Draw a circle around it in sharpie and see if it's getting smaller or growing outside of the circle in the next couple days.
 
Sounds like a histamine response, I used to get it when I first started trt. The test I was prescribed was compounded with sesame oil, the doc switched it out for test compounded with grape seed oil and all is well.

Yea I figured you were having a bit of anxiety, I was to when it happened to me lol. Especially when you google stuff you get so many people telling you to go to the doctors immediately an all this sh1t. Just wait an see how the next few days go.

Also I feel like extremely hot showers/baths helped.
 
How long or how many times have you injected yourself. Could be oil, could be technique. I always used the z method and sterilized everything. Kept needle steady and massaged the area after I was done and no problems.
 
I have had both. When I am near my PC I will get into the gross, gory detail, for now though I will just say, you will KNOW when it is an infection.
 
Wellp, bad news guys, I'm starting to feel a bit of a lump forming and I have a fever of 100.3 also the doctor called me and my white blood cells are elevated indicating that I have an infection.
Anyways, I'm gonna go get the antibiotics that she prescribed me. This is lame. I was instructed to throw away my test seeing as it Is UGL which means my infection could have been caused by dirty gear. Gonna come off, run HCG for a month along with my 200mg trt test and then drop that for a couple weeks, run Clomid for maybe 2 weeks to a month, jump back on trt for a month, and then come out swinging this fall with a nice Deca Dbol stack.

I officially now have an abscess! :D
Doc palpated my shoulder and was like "ewww" and gave me an antibiotic shot in the ass. I gotta follow up tomorrow at a Saturday clinic and be closely monitored lol punk life
 
I am sorry for never getting back to you, completely forgot bro :-(. I think you understand what I meant by you will know if you have an infection though :D. Sorry to hear dude, get better soon and keep us updated.

Why do you massage after z-tracking? Risks defeating the purpose, even if you air lock as well.

A nurse friend got me started in AAS and he told me that it helps lessen the pain and increases absorption by the increase in blood flow.

Is this true idk, I never had any issues and was never sore afterwards. I always shot in glutes and delts.
