For anyone that has tried aniracetam, what effects do you experience? Does it help with social anxiety? Looking at trying it to help with some presentations at work in the next few weeks.
The primary benefit is the anxiolytic effects and is the strongest option for these purposes. I use it specifically for speaking engagements when I need to present to a large audience. It helps with speech fluidity, recall, and compartmentalization which is extremely important in public speaking so you are never searching for words.

750mg 2x daily will last all day. It must be taken with a fat source and choline will be helpful as it generally will cause headaches without the choline. It begins working in 45-60 min and will last 5-6 hours but the effects are still there for several hours after, just not as pronounced. The lingering confidence that builds due to the ability to improve your speaking ability and social interactions will continue.
You're welcome and good luck. Aniracetam became my go to noot many years ago and has remained my favorite. For awareness, noopept stacks very nicely with it for improved memory retention, which Ani doesn't help with.
Ani- recall, speech fluidity, thought compartmentalizing, social interaction
Noopept- mental energy, retention, focus
That's exactly what I'm looking for in effects. I get very nervous and tongue-tied (and forgetful) during presentations.
The more often you put yourself in the situation the better you will become at it. The ani should help some especially when you are new to the situation.
I agree but I'm not really new to presentations. Have had to do them for my job a few times each month over the last 20+ years. The ones in a couple weeks are just in front of more senior members of the company. Coworkers say I do fine but they don't know about the sleepless nights beforehand, pounding heart during the presentation, etc. Hopefully the aniracetam will help with that.
Ok, yeah it's definitely worth giving it a shot. Report back on your opinions if you have the time.
Sure, I have but I don't care for bacopa and find the results very underwhelming.
Are you taking Ani with a fat source?
I like bacopa. It takes a bit of time of consistent use to really help with memory, but I find that even acute dosing seems to reduce anxiety a little bit and make me more social (wanting to initiate conversations more, and saying more; people have told me I seem more talkative), for me anyway. How did you dose it?Sure, I have but I don't care for bacopa and find the results very underwhelming.

Sometimes I'll do the online memory type activities (after allowing for some time to become accustomed to how they work, which can skew results), but I'm a civil engineering major, so I regularly have to remember a lot of information and concepts and am tested regularly. How are you guys noting that you're memory is getting better, unless it was noticeably bad in the first place? I just feel like it can be hard to tell something like that.

Maybe I've just never given anything enough time to work its magic. I liked the idea of Aniracetam but never noticed anything from it. is there anything similar or possibly a safe couple of things to stack? I have lots of speeches this semester and I am horrible at that. I'd like to just take a Xanax and be fine, but I also would like the retention and speech fluidity that some Nootropics can give, but I have a feeling Xanax with Nootropics won't quite work.
I've tried Bacopa and never noticed anything. I've also used Ashwaghanda without much help, I went through a couple months worth of KSM-66.
