Donald Trump running for president

Lol at both Trump and Melania's speeches being proven to be partially stolen now. And before more people keep saying "but Obama did too".... Melania stole hers from the current First Lady of the party she's running AGAINST!! I guess it's the ultimate form of flattery? Or stupidity, however you see it But it's nice to see Trump's speech has joined hers now in the thievery zone. But when are his words ever his own anyhow? He had to hire a ghost writer for his book lmao...

It's not even an argument about ethics and integrity, because clearly, any party/man/person who very exuberantly makes fun of disabled people, has pretty $hitty ethics to begin with.... not even contesting that anymore lol... it just goes without saying.
I agree wholeheartedly. He's a sh!tbag. We are stuck with trying to figure out which is the most tolerable turd. Great choice

They're supposedly pro-homeopathy and anti-GMO and some of them are anti-vaxx, and also they oppose nuclear power.

oy...she seems like a nice enough woman in all honesty. but her economic plans are so far extreme and irrational, it is mind blowing

Apparently this ex-marine turned cop killer suffers PTSD. One of the reasons I've stated in this thread that ex-military should be screened before owning firearms. Makes sense to increase screening / monitoring of these individuals.

Ignore the fact he was a member of the Nation of Islam, whose leader is on record advocating killing white people so they can feel the pain of the blacks.

Ptsd had zero to do with his anti white cop rampage.

People who suffer PTSD are not stable. Why should unstable people own guns?
Yeah I don't agree with anyone advocating the killing of anyone, but still, why are you arguing in support of unstable people being able to own guns?

If he didn't have a gun, he would have used a truck or something g else to carry out crazy Louis's mandate. Are you sati g all the BLM and Black Panthers and Nation of Islam members have PTSD as they are out calling foe the assassination of white cops?

I didn't say any of this?!

I said we need to prevent unstable people from getting guns, regardless of this story. That's exactly what I've been saying, and what I said to Youngandfree. You disagree?

Just because your unstable doesnt mean you should have your liberties and rights pulled away such as the 2nd and 5th amendment (due process) prior to being convicted of anything.

If you give government the precedent to charge prior to trial this country goes to shyts.

Look, I simply asked you a question. Do you think unstable people should own guns? Why are you defending PTSD and gun ownership?

Yayyy so let's have crazy people owning guns, give them rights to own and purchase, that's real safe!!!! You lot are fvking geniuses

Edit: wtf are you on about with "charge before trial"??
People with mental disorders should not ****ing own guns. Teh fak is wrong with you. I didn't say anything about trials, I'm talking about common fvking sense which I guess none of you have

Rice cooker, people returning from serving their country that suffer PTSD should be ripped away their liberties to cook rice or make home made sushi because they are a danger by default to society and government wants to keep us safe. Forget giving them medical treatment for their problems, its too expensive and Obama needs to pay for food stamps to illegals.

So you call returning vets who battled for our country that have some medical issues "crazies?"

I trust those "crazies" much more than BLM communists with a clean health record.

Honestly what is wrong with that brain of yours? Take away all their liberties? I'm talking only about guns you fear mongering, tin foil hat wearing, blow everything out of proportion "freedom fighter". If you're a fvking looney toon, keep the **** away from weapons. Very simple.

That's cuz you're paranoid of your own shadow.

I'm saying anyone with mental issues should be restricted. Anyone.

You are the one who started all the fear mongering with your saran wrap hat blowing everything out of proportion with guns. That is fear mongering.

If your not paranoid then cut it out with the guns and leave the 2nd and 5th Amendment alone.

Jesus Christ, do you lot not know what unstable means? It means unpredictable, at risk. It means possibly suicidal, it means at HIGH risk for violence. Why should we be arming unstable individuals who don't have control over themselves???

Yep. Thats the reason DHS has started this whole charade about labeling returning vets as domestic terrorists and that they are more dangerous than radical muslims.

At the VA, the docs tell the vets that if they put down they have trouble sleeping, they can get fast tracked. But in their records, they are getting reported as having ptsd, so that they can have their rights removed. Recently the feds said I'd you are on SS and have a fiduciary to handle your affairs, you can have your gun oweer ship rightsbrevoked, and have your guns confiscated. It doesn't matter that you might be an amputee veteran that's missing a leg, and you had a family member designated as your fiduciary to handle your business while you spend months in the hospital. It has nothing to do with mental illness, yet the feds are making blanket claims in order to unlawfully disarm more people.

Ask Brandon Raub what the feds and the VA did to him. Unlawfully detained and kidnapped, and shipped to a different VA center a couple hours away, with zero charges filed for nearly a week before a judge ordered him to be released.

If you follow Farakhan, you are ****ed up in the head. But that's not PTSD. Again, ptsd didn't push this guy over the edge. So posting a CNN article making the claim that it did is ignoring the facts.

Well, if its that bad they belong in a hospital, dont they?

Look, you have to have due process. You cant just take guns away because government wants to declare people "unstable."

High risk would involve in convicted violent crimes, or admission of wanting to harm others which can be documented by a doctor or witnesses and a system of due process needs to take place with a right to a fair trial.

Just because someone has PTSD doesnt mean that they are going to harm other people. Its rare....in fact, BLM is far more dangerous than PTSD.

I spoke to a couple of American professors yesterday about politics and gun use (they live here now) and they both stated that most Americans will only support political parties they are grown up to support (as opposed to here where many will flip flop parties based on who offers the best policies), and that Americans have NO trust in their government whatsoever.

Now I understand. It was a good conversation

I agree that unstable people should not be allowed to legally buy a gun....
but that goes back to my original argument, there are so many guns in circulation that it would not be difficult for someone to obtain a gun illegally.

passing tighter gun laws at this point is futile, all it would do is make black market guns more of a profitable business, much like drugs.

lol...I grew up a liberal democrat, even voted for carter....I am no professor, but a lot of people start out liberal when they are young and get more conservative as they get older....as I got older I put away my young boy ways.

a lot of conservative politicians were radical pot smokers in their college days!!!

Personally started off all conservative because of my parents, but I have shifted slightly more towards the middle as I've grown to think for myself. Then again, I'm still young, so we'll see!

Is there anyone here who is anti marijuana legalization?

I havent seen enough evidence unlike subjects such as the Colorado shooter who definitely were patsy's, but its certainly possible. Are all 3 military? Possible could be MK-Ultra subject, but could also be just be idiots. Military people are subject to abuse with MK-Ultra experiments such as the Oklahoma city bomber.

Its hard to say. They you have to look at stand down orders....leads could have been bought for natural occurring events, but white house could have called the shots to pull back and let things happen..

No matter what they will try to capitalize on this and they certainly are.

it could be just like that reporter said..'this changes everything, if more than 1 shooter is involved'. it's easy to explain away a single lone wolf shooter, much harder if you have 2-3 conspiring to commit an act.

the Orlando shooter had ties to law enforcement and both dallas and baton rouge shooters were ex military.

I say totally legalize it...let people grow it in their backyards and let farm-boys have a crop of pot!!!

the way it is going now it won't be altogether legal, it will be regulated...a permit will be necessary to grow it and to sell it, and a limited amount of permits will be given... this means price setting, which I am against.

I have a family member who has been growing it and smoking it for 26 years... Found out 3 weeks ago. Lol.

growing it is the easy part...curing it and making it smokeable is harder....back in the 70's there was a magazine called 'high times' that told you how to do it.

Oh trust me she's got it down...

I
I used to lift those from the head shops

lol...I can't believe pot isn't legal yet....the reason so many of us young people voted for carter is because norml told us he was going to legalize it.

as a recovering alcoholic I don't drink or use drugs, but I tell you one thing---I would much rather be around a group of pot smokers than a group of drinkers!!!

Back in the 70's? Lol, that is still around as far as I know.

you could buy a lid of decent Mexican or jamaican pot[three fingers] for $15, then red bud came out and price went to $30....the best[and most expensive-$50] I ever smoked was some stuff called black sheba-very hard stuff to get and very expensive at the time...

I lived close to a big park in indy. it was common for someone to be passing by with a bag and just start rolling, everyone would sit around in a big circle and start passing joints around. it really was the Woodstock generation.

Nice job France! Another 120 innocent civilians murdered with your foreign interventionism. Then you ask why people go there to kill your people?
