Want to know whats funny the original democratic party was essentially the libertarian party, like almost to the T of what libertarian party stands for. Back then democrats were conservatives and rebulicans were more liberals.

Getting butt hurt because she used a couple phrases that Obama used, along with probably many other people, is ridiculous, considering she's not running for office.

The media wants to ignore Mayor Rudy's speech and Sherriff David Clarke, because they were both home runs. One of the networks even cut away from Rudy when he started attacking Hildabeast.

One thing is, he didn't create racists, but he played a part in exposing them and allowing them to be more visible. But it's not just him, social media has played a huge role in this as well. Thee are actually so many positive stories around but it's just that the media won't show them because they are less exciting than drama and hate. All we see is unrest, but yet there is also so much unity through the unrest. Many people want unity, but it's always the small majority who get the most exposure.

If you only see the war and unrest, it'll be your only perception in which your entire viewpoint hinges off of.

One thing though....in the same manner that Obama's election was in direct relation to the disaster that was W, Trump's rise is in direct relation to Obama's disasters. In my 40 years, I have never seen race relations as tenuous as they are right now. The majority of that has to do with the responses of the President. Here is a leader who mingles with known racist groups (BLM) and seeks guidance from there.

He is worse than I thought he would be after I did not vote for him a second time in 2012. In all honesty we need to alter the system. Get rid of the 15% criteria to make it on the debates, and let Johnson, Stein and anyone else above maybe 5% voice their thoughts.

It's all a bunch of crap at this point. Who cares anymore!?

I'm now considering voting for whoever has the most hot chicks on their staff, because let's face it, that's what you'll be looking at for the next 4 years. It's time to stop arguing and be reasonable about the practical issues that we can all agree on, lol. ;)

I hate how everyone is making it out to be so black and white, so divisive. The media would have you believe that you're either for cops and against black people, or for black people and against cops. Why can't you be for both, and not want anyone getting needlessly shot?

1000% agree. Its extremely annoying, even in this thread. You say you support one thing and the other side jumps to the other end of the spectrum and says you must be a racist, etc.

At the end of the day, it's not like any of these politicians/celebrities even write their own speeches. That doesn't justify stealing someone else's speech, but it's all sort of worthless really, no?

I know, it's just hilarious. Whoever wrote the speech for her knew exactly what they were doing. I don't see how anyone can defend her and say it was her words. I get it, she probably didn't have a clue and just trusted whoever wrote it for her. The fact that the speech was close to a copy paste of Michelle Obama was perfect, the person who wrote the speech for her is clearly a master troll.

A master troll, or just a lazy speech writer who didn't feel like doing any work and/or procrastinated writing the speech and hoped no one would notice? Things like this are easily avoidable, hell, essays I submitted in high school were checked for plagiarism.

Sometimes I feel like Trump doesn't really want to win. It seems that every time Hillary seems like she looks very bad in a scandal, Trump say something incredibly stupid, like basically praising Saddam Hussein for being good at killing terrorists.

lets face facts..in hindsight the world was a better place when saddam was in power...Iraq and iran were too busy fighting each other to mess with us..it is beginning to look like the Saudi's played more of a role in 911 than saddam, and there was never any weapons of mass destruction found!!!

so, in effect you could say that saddam was good at killing would be terrorists.
