Kenneth starr was appointed special prosecutor over the Watergate hearings because it was agreed that the president had too much influence over the f.b.i and attorney generals office.

yesterday during a interview with chris Wallace when attorney general lynch was asked if there were a conflict of interest for her to be in charge of proceedings against Clinton since Obama is endorsing Clinton, lynch replied that there is no conflict of interest since her and Obama have never discussed Clinton's case...lol, yeah right!!!

Because gun control advocates are all level-headed?! Progress won't happen until both sides are willing to give something up and using slippery slope terms like "common sense" won't help. Common sense defined by who? And before you make the leap, no, I don't own a single gun.

Just because you throw the phrase "common sense" in front of something does not inherently mean that the ideas that follow are actually common sense. Sort of like the "Affordable Care" Act and the "Patriot" Act; just names really. Hell, how can people claim to want to have an educated debate regarding "common sense" gun control when they don't know the difference between automatic and semi-automatic firearms, and think that you can order a firearm online and have it shipped to your door?

The country is so corrupt we don't know what's going on.

In any case, that isn't the definition of equality. That doesn't even make sense. Equality is affording the LGBT community the same freedoms as heterosexuals. Not you acting like an ahole because you want to be equal to other aholes.

even if you don't agree to the lifestyle, if it doesnt impact you and your life, why would you want to limit the rights of others?

So it's OK to be gay, but not OK to not be gay? Who's doing the limiting here, lol? You're biased, and that's clearly not the equally you're trying to preach. Equal right means that aholes, homos, heteros, non-aholes, fill in the blank, are all equally valid positions. Seriously, what part of 'equal' is so difficult for you to grasp, or does it only count as equal when it's in agreement with your opinion? I'm not trying to be rude, but that isn't equal friend.

Either everyone is ok, or no one is ok. That's equal rights, and it's the only way it can work.

You can hold any view point you wish, but the second you actively try to take away from someone else's rights as a person, simply over a position you are uncomfortable with, you are no longer advocating for human rights. Stop using 'equality' as a term to describe your bigotry.

This is like saying, "I can hate people of other races, because I am all for equality". Yeah, that makes sense.

Like I said, for Morg to make a statement like that is for him to declare himself to be the ahole. Is everyone who you could apply that statement to really an ahole? I doubt it! He's never even met them and neither have you, so it's prejudice for you to even presume such an argument. You may be missing something, but the people in the LGBT community are demanding equal rights, not superiority. They want the same liberties and freedoms that heterosexuals are afforded. Equal rights typically applies to minority populations, of which will differ according to region.

It's about bringing minority population rights into an equal position with those of the majority.

An opinion YOU form, has nothing to do with equality. Morgan has an opinion and has shared it. If you dont agree with it, cool. But his opinion has nothing to do with equality (seriously, look up the legal definition of the term).

Whether you agree or not is your opinion, but if you are against them, no matter how you spin it, you are against infringing on others freedoms.

But no matter who or what, you get what you give. That's the universal law, no? Always has been and always will be. Sure, seek whatever rights you feel you deserve, but if you try to take them from someone who didn't owe you, that's not equality. That's just starting a war.

Oooh, ok now I see where you are coming from.

Yeah, attacking those who have an opposite point of view is not the brightest way to go about it, because equality is about building minorities up, not bringing majorities down.

I support the LGBT community because I lose none of my rights doing so. It doesn't impact me negatively and so I have no reason to get in the way of another persons happiness.
 
Unfortunately not all people are as logical, or civil for that matter, as you guys. Some people are so brainwashed by their cultural or religious beliefs that they feel they just HAVE to dictate how other people live their lives; sexual orientation, gender identification, religion, so on and so forth.
But I agree with the both of you. Who am I to tell you who you're sexually attracted to? Who am I to tell you what God, if any, you should believe in or devote your life to? Who am I to say you weren't a girl born in a boy's body? Granted, my personal opinion is that there's some imbalance or something unusual inside someone's brain that makes them think they're a different gender, but that is my opinion and only that. I still believe you can live your life the way you want to.

How about everyone has the equal right to not accept other peoples lifestyles? (Such as Christians not wanting to go to hell and marrying gay people and then throwing them in the slammer.)

If I start a "Heterosexual Community" club nationwide, Id be labeled as an extremist and racist kkk nazi by the very people who say they want equal rights.

I support as much but mostly more rights and liberties for gay people than anyone on this board. You can reject a lifestyle (in my case I accept gay people) and support other peoples freedoms and liberties at the same time. To condemn rejection is not equal rights. The only thing that matters is that everyone has an equal opportunity to make something out of themselves and have their liberties protected by the bill of rights and stop blaming inequality just because life isnt fair.

Actually, I support more liberties and freedoms for gays than the majority of gays do. They are the ones mostly supporting policies of oppression, just like most heterosexuals do too.

^that realization in combination of the fact he has 0 morals (cracks jokes at/about handicapped people, etc) is the exact reason i flopped my previous "support" of him. I say "support" bc if you recall i always said it was a lesser of two evils situation.

Why is college so unaffordable now? That's right, the Dems in Congress passed a rider attached to obamacare that let the feds take control of almost the entire student loan industry. So now, schools can charge even more because they know the loans are backed by uncle sam. Another one of those unintended consequences that dems never for see.
