Next PES Insider Deal???

I'll be tossing up a review of the new Alphamine after this weekend. Been taking it since Thursday (Fastest shipping I've ever had, outside of double B, since PES switched to FedEx). Has its pluses, and negatives.

One negative I'm sad to say is that it tastes worse than the original. This may not apply to other flavours, but since the old RL had a sour kick, thanks to ingredients which have since been removed, the flavour just isn't the same anymore. Some other flavours however, Iced Tea and CC off the top of my head, would probably benefit from not having those tart elements in it, so keep this in mind.

Thanks for the honest feedback as always! Looking forward to the full reviews.

Is this an NZ idosyncrasy? I mix all protein powder with milk, full fat...but the Amooricans seem to favour water? Wtf?

Me too. Silver top or dark blue all of the time. I dunno, maybe their milk isnt as amazing as ours or something.

Cant stand it in water

Our milk is not real...it's taken apart, cooked to $h!t, and recombined...homoginized and ultra pasteurized...obtained from sick mistreated animals.

Only mix with milk when I can get the real stuff here. Farm fresh.

Yeah, now that makes sense. NZ isnt farm fresh (Fonterra), but its about as close as you gonna get for commercial/processed.

I hear y'all got some well treated pasture grazed cattle too...the best quality beef I can get at the local supermarket is imported from NZ. F'n a!

I refuse to use water, usually skim milk though because I try to leave more fats for real meals lol.

The flavor sounds great, and iForce has always done a good job flavoring.

I just don't use whey protein.

It is good that all beef and lamb is grass fed here. Pretty damn tasty!

If PES did a blueberry muffin id get it for sure. Prefer a blend for thickness and consistency.

Not this guy. Whole milk all day every day. Protein in water is lame and blah.

High Volume is a stim free pre, to that market we will deliver hard with that product.

Thank you again for your thoughts sir, and for pointing that out.

Just as our stimulated pre will deliver there

I have some good news. Today I was taking the sample of High Volume that came with my Alphamine order, thinking nothing of it except just another free serving of HV. As I was about to throw out the packaging, I don't even know why, but I decided to look at the facts panel. Looks like the reports of PES's death were greatly exaggerated.....

Invalid Link Removed

High Volume has been updated, and along with removing Amento and Ruta, they added almost double the amount of L-Citrulline. I'm glad PES updated the formula to stay on top of the pump game, after some other contenders have been vying for the HV crown.

I told you guys high volume would not be negatively changed and nobody listened to me, lol.

7g of l-citrulline, got damn. PES seems to push hard on this "ferulic acid". It is now in HV, E9 and new Alphamine. Any special reason why it as been included in HV and new Alphamine Synapsin?

Wow! That is a great move! Congratulations, PES!!! Will there be an insider for this new formula? Any new flavours coming?

Just to clarify, the doses of citrulline, agmatine and arginine nitrate haven't changed, l-citrulline still remains at an extremely high 4g per two scoops (approximate citrulline equivalent to 8g citrulline malate).

These sample packets have just been printed and the mistake was noticed. We are bringing them back to head office to be relabelled.

Apologies for any temporary confusion. :)

P.S. for all High Volume fans, we have a European specific version on the way which will be available soon at retailers which will not ship agmatine to Europe. :)

New Alphamine is definitely a different flavor profile and has a good smooth drinkable texture- with good flavor. I'm really digging it as an energy drink replacement, although its not quite as tasty as my Monster Zeros I've become addicted to. I can see it as a great substitute with a much better head feeling and boost that will also save me some money. However, I'm interested to see if PES will come out with something new in the pre-workout/thermo dept. with YHCL back in it; as it is one of my favourite ingredients both on and off prep season. That or DMAA :saeek:

As a side note, I'm interested to try the new HV formula. Looks like a great reformulation.

No agmatine in the European version? There is no ban for agmatine in Europe as far as I know?

wait, i'm confused. the updated formula for HV is the same as the old formula, except with a couple ingredients removed entirely? nothing new added?

Has a study in humans showing its effective at 30 mg for increasing muscle mass, strength, etc. On phone so can't elaborate more

Ferulic acid is in place of amento and ruta

Ah got it, forgot the og formula didn't have that. Thanks.

Sorta tangental question... is amento not really a popular ingredient anymore? I actually still have a couple bottles of analyzed supps amento I'm gonna use up. Did real world results not match expectations, and that's why it's being replaced with ferulic?

Insider again coming this month, and several more things in motion

Cotton Candy is winning for me of the new Alphamines.

Good in any amount of water for flavour and enjoyment.

I think I like Sunrise best as 2 scoops in 6 oz. or so, really shines there.
Or mix it with Tropical Twist which was solid

Notes on effects from me to come, need testing

Initial thoughts: as good as an energy drink for stimulant/energy effects.

Need to use it outside my pre so I can test mood effects while not lifting/cardio so I can focus on it.

Have always enjoyed theanine with my caffeine

Wondering this as well Synapsin interested in comparing it to amento HV...

You need to look harder my friend lol. :)

- Bodybuilding.com haven't allowed anything with agmatine to be sold in Europe for a while now.
- One of the large US based international distributors has just followed suit.
- The largest bodybuilding supplement distributor in Europe has also followed suit.
- At least one UK retailer has had a visit instructed by Food Standards Agency with a request to display product withdrawal notices on every single product sold in the past six months containing agmatine sulfate.

In short, agmatine sulfate sales in Europe are going to shrink substantially and rapidly, especially from brands which require importing from America as distributors don't want to take a risk on importing stock which could get seized.

Allows steroids and prohormones but not agmatine sulfate. Lol makes sense

Not at all. It's really quite useless.

It isn't even a UK specific thing. UK has a lot of regulations and not that much enforcement. This will be something that affects the whole of Europe, unfortunately.
