Calories in vs out myth

Look up the book I mentioned and the studies where people consume almost triple they're daily calories in protien and high fat and still lose weight due to the absence of carbs. Carbs are not the enemy but they are the reason why we get fat. Why do you think the keto/ atkins/paleo diet are so popular and effective for getting shredded?

Uhm... Firstly calories weren't ever considered when looking at these so called diets you're talking about, so for all we know the people were eating at calorie deficit.
Second; it's a no brainer that one would lose water weight when carb intake is minimal (hence a loss in weight)

Look back at the same people who followed these fad diets, and look at how long they've been dieting along with how much they've lost, and tell me if there's any correlation between the two. Also, tell me how much weight these people have lost and how much they've kept off.

I'm actually tempted to go on a donut diet. I've been doing a mini cut and my calories have been way low. like hovering around 2,000.

I'm tempted to just eat 6 Krispy Kreme donuts per day for a week and see what happens lol.

I think i'll feel like total crap and starve to death. but hey in the name of science maybe I could pound 42 donuts next week.

I've done a pizza diet lol.. unfortunately I've got no logs of it other than myfitnesspal.. It sucked balls because I wasn't eating certain meals so I had calories for the pizzas if I was in the mood for some extra toppings

Eventually, the fewer calories you consume the fewer your body will burn. Why do you think there is so much available literature on successful re-feed protocols? Leptin, Ghrelin, insulin and cortisol are all much more important considerations than calories when attempting to lose body fat.

I agree completely. Fat loss goes well when you first start a diet, but if you don't work to keep hormone levels in check you'll stall out quickly
