Any JYM Army members here?

A couple of textbook JYM Army warriors in this thread i see. Was probably bound to infest AM sooner or later.
I know you guys fall for BS marketing, but please understand that his products aren't unique in any way, and that they're overpriced. No YouTube video with fancy words and blatant lies will change that fact.
You fell for smart marketing, and i feel sorry for you.

It is one thing to say "Supplement X is the best," or even "Supplement Y is the best, strongest, most effective supplement on the market because it's effectively dosed and completely open label." One could argue all day about which product is the best; there's no real way to prove it beyond a doubt; it's subjective. It's other thing entirely to say "My supplement Z is the ONLY supplement on the market with an open label" when it's not true at all. It's objectively false. And to keep defending this position when presented with facts showing otherwise proved it wasn't simply a mistake or him not being aware of the other companies. If you can't recognize this distinction, there's no point continuing this discussion...

You're right there is no point because you're not understating my point I'll try to repeat it and be simple , why take it personal ? Why do you think it has anything to do with you personally ? It doesn't and nether does the fact that others like the supplements why try to turn them away from a good supplement line

Jim claims drinking milk us just as beneficial as supplementing with whey.

Check out his Facebook page.

He says if you can't buy his product then drink milk.

Integrity?

Lol that's gotta be a joke bro , come on, it's a supplement , it's not that serious you aren't repping them or pushing the product to anyone, it's no different then any other company in the world beyond supplements , I promise you, and I'm willing to bet a good chunk of change on it, that other companies you come into contact with daily (not just supplements but clothing, food, your bank) are doing far worse stuff then that. It's a supplement bottom line, no reason in the world to take any of it seriously, the drama in the supp world seems to be getting worse than some of the stupid sh1t on tv. But to make it clear I couldn't care less wether anyone uses it or not , just stating that my opinion is it's a great set of products and I don't think anyone should take what he says so serious , it's marketing and I'm sure most of the people on AM do better research then the beginners that fall for the advertisement on the labels and on the Internet , if I knew how to make this bold I would make this statement bold and bigger letters, It Is Not That Serious

I'm not losing any sleep or stressing over it, don't worry about that. It doesn't take a lot of effort to comment online about it when I'm having a snack. I guarantee many companies in a wide range of categories, including supplements, do MUCH worse, but if I'm aware that a company is doing something wrong and there are other companies to support (with goods/services of the same or better quality at the same or better prices) that aren't doing these bad things, why would I support said company? Are there companies that do bad things things I am unaware of that I support? Most likely, but if I found out and there were other viable options to choose from without any loss or inconvenience, I would switch. It's really quite simple.

Gotta chalk it up to just two different opinions or this could get way too far past just supplements lol, all good thou bro no harm done?

Yeah. No hard feelings man.

I don't want to (and I shouldn't) turn this into a debate on differing mentalities regarding a capitalistic economy.

never tried and never will... He's all about profits and thrives off his nut huggers

thought I'd share this with you guys, Jym started on the right track, educating people, then he drifted into ignorance....once, I mentioned prejym for being extra sweet on his facebook, i got banned from posting... I am a happy and proud member of the anabolic army, thanks but no thanks jym.

He should put more stim based ingredients in his pre. It's not very intense even with the 300 mg of caffeine. Which doesn't really give you an edge in the gym compared to other pre's I have used. after my tub is done I will not be purchasing again.

That whole mess is what we've been talking about here, haha.

Just because the guy is a doctor doesn't mean his supplements are worth buying. He makes more money selling supplements to suckers who think they need them than he would as an actual MD.
That's why there's a million different supplement brands and new ones popping up every day for YouTube and fitness celebrities. None of them are special or different than the **** that's always been available. The marketing and sales bull**** just gets better and people get more gullible and less educated.
He's not an MD he has his PhD in exercise physiology with some biochemistry background as well. Two completely different things entirely.

If you buy 1 Andro, but turns out it's OG Superdrol are you mad? You got gains and that's what you bought the product for.

What about if it's not as hardcore, but say you buy protein and it's spiked. You're still making good gains.. But you won't buy that protein anymore. Why? Because it's not what it claims to be, right?

So why is it okay to lie in one scenario but not the other? Why is one lie "marketing" when it goes far beyond puffing and the other fraudulent and the subject of lawsuits?

It's also fallacious logic to assume that everything a doctor says is inherently correct.
I've explained enough to my doctor's and PA's about pharmacokinetics that at this point I can shoot them an email or call in for what I want or need lol. They keep trying to convince me to go to med or PA school but I can't work for people lol. I'm not good at it hahaha

You couldn't be more correct though. Asking a PCP (most times) about a supplement is like asking him to perform surgery. If it's not their specialty a lot of times they lose their knowledge or are overrun by dogmatic info

I will say this though, if I were a practitioner with the current bs happening within the supplement industry I would likely tell people to avoid supps as well. Oh well, I'll own my own manufacturing plant soon enough and not meeting label claims and no prop blend will no longer be an issue

That sounds awesome man!

Lot's of "appeal to authority" and "confirmation bias" in this thing of ours. I take what an "expert" who makes no money off of supps says, way more than one who has to make house payments from supp sales. Jym started out good - he had 2 products IIRC a Pre and Protein. Both were good and transparent. They are actually priced about the same as good quality retail stuff from everyone else - maybe a buck here or there between non-sale PES Select and ProJym? But he has entered into shill territory - I sometimes play his YT Channel while doing cardio - lots of over the top marketing. Can't blame him too much - it's his business, but I don't take well to that kind of tactic. This latest NutraBio thing is icing. Anyway, after you gain knowledge, you can get any supp you need wholesale/bulk and save a ton - so I'm not too invested in any main stream supp company anymore.

I do agree you can just eat steak, eggs and drink milk though :D

i have to agree.

i final got around to reading the above link, Mark Glazier is a class act, and PricePlow really took Stoppani to task.

10/10 read.

I'm glad it was covered. Of all brands to call out on transparency, NutraBio shouldn't make any list.
