Donald Trump running for president

I can't keep up with this thread but there are health benefits/medical reasons behind circumcision as well.

Do a quick google search and you will see it's a practice that's not being covered by health insurance anymore in many places because there are no health benefits to it... There are absolutely no health benefits to mutilating your genitals. We have soap, and we all wash ourselves (hopefully at least).

It's a practice that was done as a tradition only. Some doctors (I'm talking long long ago) argued that it prevented 'masturbatory madness', because they are removing the most sensitive portion of the penis, which will reduce pleasure from masturbation and sex.

Beating your kids, or talking about beating your kids, is not considered promotion of love btw.

Beating the crap out of them certainly isnt. Disciplining them with spanking with a old fashioned belt is love. Why? Because it teaches discipline. As I said this before, it kept me out of trouble from doing things such as stealing or fighting, getting into any trouble, the last thing I wanted to was to go home and get spanked or slapped.

If you love your kids you will discipline them so they learn not to make mistakes later in life that will give them far more worse issues than a spanking. Actually, I wish my father was far stricter with me than he was.

Huh? Circumcision? Wasnt that a Jewish thing? lol

There are well over a billion Catholics, I certainly would expect there to be a mix of ill intended people there. Doesnt mean Catholics in general share the same views.

Yes, Are you blind? Or maybe you aren't reading my posts as you reply to them? I wrote that it's an ancient Semitic practice (Jewish, in case that word is too big for you). I didn't say it's a Catholic practice, I said raping kids is.

Actually it creates more direct contact with the vagina, so lucky baby who had their cover removed.

Do you not wash your junk? If you do, you won't get UTI's ffs. Go ahead and have your kids mutilated tho in case you think they won't wash their junk lol

I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure you can get a UTI even if you wash your junk 4x a day. So that's a moot point.

This isnt the 1200's anymore Gutterpump. Who is doing ancient raping practices today and where?

Some people cant pull their forskin back either which can certainly cause issues.

Do you constantly resort to name calling and being a jack ass in debates or just when you make moot points?

You can get a UTI sure, but doctors used to argue that germs build up under the foreskin, which is kind of retarded. I'm not about mutilating our bodies at all, but if you are, all the power too you. It is genital mutilation, which was my original point. A form of mutilation which Ax1 is so against.

He's referring to the Catholic priest scandal. Because, you know - one bad apple ruins the bunch by his logic. Apparently you have to be a gay hating bigot to eat/work at CFA and a child molester to be Catholic.

I didn't call him a name, but I reminded him that I already said it's an ancient Semitic practice, and he didn't seem to know what that name meant, so I wrote that it means Jewish.

The foreskin is the most sensitive skin in the penis.

Not my pecker. Do you have a foreskin? Damn, this is getting bad up in this thread, lol.

The foreskin is not that sensitive at all. Its a protectant. It protects the head of your penis from years and years of abrasion causing the actual penis head to keep its sensitivity.

Are you against tattoos? Piercings? Isn't that 'mutilation'?

Lol I'm circumcised but I am against the practice.

I forgot what Semitic meant specifically to be honest at that moment. Brain freeze, lol.

Buddy, I am not against mutilation in general lol... I said Ax1 was against genital mutilation (sex changes), and circumcision is the most practiced form of genital mutilation. Not sure why you are asking me? No I am not against tattoos or piercings or sex changes, just circumcisions. Tattoos are not considered mutilation though lol

I think its retarded and should only be done on a special case basis.

Since we are on the topic lol ---- here's something everyone can take away from this. The foreskin protects the head from wear and keeps it sensitive (as told to us from Ax1). Shea butter on the head, over time, will remove the kerotization (sp) in the skin that forms over time from friction, and thus brings sensitivity back. Lil helpful bit of info I've learned over the years :D

I want kerotizatoin!!!!

My wife and I researched this extensively before our son was born. We decided that the purported health benefits didn't warrant the genital mutilation.

As we are also not religious, so that played no role either.

I spoke with my gf about this, and her only reason for wanting a son of hers to get circumcised is for purely aesthetic reasons for him in his future. I was like, ummm yeah, no... Not enough reason to cut any part of a son of mine's penis off

So people are tattooing and piercing their babies right out of the womb now?

No, but if you preface your argument on "ITS MUTILATION" then back track and say "..well... some mutilation is okay but I DONT LIKE THIS KIND" your argument is weak. Inherently, I feed off weak arguments. No one really knows my opinions on this forum, I just like to stir the pot whenever I can. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Tattooing and piercing generally require consent from the person receiving it.

Babies can't consent.

And yes parents can consent to allow children to be pierced or tattooed, but that generally doesn't happen at birth, lol.

I was sad you didn't want to debate the war on drugs :(

So now you've jumped on a different band wagon.

Not for mutilating bodies except for getting torturous body tattoos.

Lol every time I open this thread there's like 20 new posts, most of which are either butthurt, calling names, or in or way or another belittling the person it's addressing

Yeah, welcome to Obama's America. They are turning us all against each other.

BTW I don't know if I could handle extra sensitivity down there lol.

I get it, but the only person who said they were against body mutilation here was ax1
I'm definitely 100% against the mutilation of babies. But an adult can do as they please to their own body :)

That wasnt my point....I support the individual right for body mutilation. I just choose not to "accept" it, and thats ok.

Speaking of circumcision from 1k+ years ago, before the time of soap and good hygiene circumcision probably prevented alot of problems...that goes up until the 1900's.

Yup agreed, but it's very outdated now.
Woody, As a side note, you don't see doctors removing women's labias because they get UTI's lol... such a ridiculous reason for wanting to get your child circumcised.

Its debatable though, controversial. Not an issue of out of date. It will probably remain that way. Its going to be individual judgment to do or not to do.

Youngandfree posted a good link showing that the CDC encourages Circumcision.
