That's what I'm talkin' bout. CFA is ok, just as ok as anyone else! It's gotta be that way for equality to exist, there is no other way.

To have a different opinion is inevitable. Nobody is the same as anybody else, nobody is equal. So the only way to achieve equality is to say both of their opinions are equally valid, and tolerate one another equally. Or, everyone can keep hating everyone else that isn't just like them until the future is wrecked for all of us. It's a no-brainer if you ask me, lol.
 
Fwiw, I don't believe in this new law that was passed about transgenders. I believe no man should be allowed into women's restrooms because that leaves far too many loopholes open for predators. What's stopping predators from acting the part of a transgender? Idiotic law...

Is it really "quite liberating: to cut off your penis and take opposite sex hormones? Does this really make people happy?

Having an op isnt going to hide the fact that there are major issues upstairs that no operation is going to cure.

Its a fact, the suicide attempt rate for the regular population is less than 5%. With transgender's its a staggering 40+ percent. That right there is far from "quite liberating." I can bet that the rest of the 60% that havent attemted suicide, most of them still have major issues they have trouble dealing with up in the head, suffer from depression and other disorders.

Many of these people need some serious help, at its not by going under the knife.

Part of that suicide rate I'd attribute to bullying, societal abuse, etc. But still a huge gap between homosexual and transgender.

Does it really make people happy to spend hours pumping iron and risk their health taking supplements that may have unknown risks? How about people that plan their days around high protein meals? What about the people on here who manipulate their hormones regularly and put their organs at risk in the desire to be huge?

Many of these people need serious help right? Until you've walked in their (transgender) shoes I don't think you should be so quick to judge.

Ax1 - yes it must be horrible and very very difficult to be born into a male (or female body) when your DNA is wired as one of the opposite sex's. I could not imagine the struggle these people go through, and I can understand why the suicide rate is so high within that group. This is why they need people's support, not hate, or belts, or punches, or slaps. People like you are why they'd commit suicide. Imagine if you were born this way and your parents beat you because of it. You'd probably want to kill yourself to. You should definitely never have kids.

Its unfortunate, I do not in any way condone bullying to anybody. You have to be in the real world however, not presenting yourself with self dignity and going out in society as a freak show has its consequences which should be accounted for pre-op.

The higher suicide rate is certainly an indicator of mental illness. I was bullied as a kid, for being fat and also being white, being of a non-english speaking family, etc......and Ive never once thought of killing myself. I learned to grow thick skin and just develop and better myself as a person. I known people who had a horrifically when it comes to bullying for years, and they didnt kill themselves or even attempt.

As a matter of fact I did, as I have every time I step foot in the Chik-Fil-A establishment. I've honestly had better service there than some "quality" sit-down restaurants.

Its called being self centered and delusional. They need to expend their energy outward and make their lives about other people, and just love themselves for who they are.

How is their DNA wired differently? They still have male chromosomes. Did Cat Women (let me know if you missed that) have "cat" chromosomes just because they associate themselves with cats?

You are far out of line, I do not hate trannies, I do not bully them, and I only promote compassion to them, as mental patients which is what in fact they are, with major personality disorders, depression or other ailments in combination. These people need help as many other people do in all walks of life.

I believe everyone is at liberty to take their own actions and be responsible for their decisions they make, so Im not sure what your problem is.

The problem I primarily have is people are more and more being persecuted for simply expressing their disapproval or not accepting other people's lifestyle choices.

Now, if you want to condemn bullying, we are all on the same page. The fact is however, I support more freedoms for transvestites than anyone here.

I don't really have a problem. I was just showing that depending on how you look at things many people on here aren't any less "weird" or unhealthy as transgenders.

How "normal" is it to risk your health for the desire to look a certain way?

Just stirring the pot - what about if your kid had an uncontrollable feeling to get drunk all of the time? Or to experiment with drugs? Is your solution to support that and make drugs legal? Or does your solution differ?

I would never beat anyone up. Spanking and a slap are very exceptable....controlled that is.

Ill say from my own experience, thats what kept me out of trouble as a kid. If I got in trouble at school, that last thing I wanted was to encounter my father and get a spanking. Discipline for the win.

If you aren't harming someone else why does it matter? I don't see how a girl choosing to dress like a boy harms me.

Yes I believe drugs should be legal. Why shouldn't they be? You'd get rid of tons of cartel related death and violence and save tons of taxpayer money. If you want to do heroin feel free. I'm not going to. We've been fighting the war on drugs for a long time. Has it been successful? I'd argue no.

Nobody here is cutting or mutilating their bodyparts though. Thats insane. I wouldnt even want a tooth pulled. There are those Synthol people, Ill throw them into the same category as trangenders, how is that?

Absolutely. I had a great vacation in Colorado recently. And they legalized pot. And the sky didn't fall.

Do you honestly believe you can stop people from doing drugs? Do you think the millions of dollars we pay locking people up for smoking weed or sniffing cocaine is worth it? Do you believe black markets aren't responsible for tons of crime?

If I do cocaine right now who am I harming? All your examples are people hurting other people. You're lumping murder in with sniffing cocaine? A victim-less crime vs someone taking someone else's life?

If heroin was legal would you do it?? Of course not. After over 1.5 trillion on the war on drugs, 30+ years later here in NY heroin is a growing and serious epidemic. It doesnt stop people from doing drugs.

With Rape your infringing on the liberties of others....with drugs your infringing only on yourself. Its totally different.
 
Woody: Read what happened in Portugal after decriminalization. Drug related deaths and heroin addiction went way down. People started getting help and stopped living in fear of the cops. They helped addicts be clean if they were going to use.

Saved lives, saved money, lessened the amount of drug use.

I have to agree with this. If you'r only harming yourself, what does it matter? it's your free choice. Cigs and alcohol are legal and they do as much harm as drugs. Why not legalize it, make money off of taxes, and ensure people are getting legit stuff so they don't OD on someones homemade crap.

I'm glad you do. A lot of transgenders don't cut bodyparts, but I don't know what it's like to feel as if that operation would make me normal either so I won't attempt to judge or comment.

People have died doing what we love though. People have killed themselves taking substances to look a certain way. I don't think using steroids is really that big of a leap from a man putting a dress on or stuffing a shirt. It's all in how you look at something.

Right now people on this site are injecting substances in their body to look a certain way. Likely people in this thread. Of all the people to not judge the users on this site should be some of the biggest ones.

Id have the strong drugs available at special clinics across the country. The drugs would be clean for one thing (people die from impurities), clean needles (less diseases) and there you give information along with medical care (self funded by the drugs, 100% of the money should go to the drug clinic unless there is a major surplus) should you want to seek help.

There are issues in the bodybuilding community with drugs thats for certain. I can relate to as why they would want to do that, I myself want to look physically perfect but I do stay away from injecting anything.

Then there are bodybuilders who go under the knife too and get plastic surgery. I heard Gaspari has plastic implants in his chest for example.

Throw in botox, breast implants, liposuction, etc and you have millions of people already who are augmenting themselves to look a different way just like transgenders do.

Id say cigs and alcohol do far more harm. Then you have hypocrite NFL who wants to preach to everybody about domestic violence (I love the NFL btw) but do nothing but promote the #1 cause of it which is alcohol.
 
Doesn't the Church support the mutilation of little boys by slicing off part of their genitals? This is an ancient Semitic practice, and is barbaric. Child abuse is still promoted by religious groups to this day. ax1 you should be campaigning against them, as this mutilation is far more common than sex change operations.

What churches are doing this now? Whats specific type of abuse are they promoting?

I was raised by my Grandmother, she was a devoted Catholic and I grew up as a Catholic as a child and went to a weekly religion class and not once have I ever encountered any promotion of violence, but just the promotion of love.

Beating your kids, or talking about beating your kids, is not considered promotion of love btw.
Neither is raping lil children, which the church does so well.

Huh? Circumcision? Wasnt that a Jewish thing? lol

There are well over a billion Catholics, I certainly would expect there to be a mix of ill intended people there. Doesnt mean Catholics in general share the same views.
 
I can't keep up with this thread but there are health benefits/medical reasons behind circumcision as well.
