Ostarine and Propecia/Finesteride - mini log

I am writing this mainly to help anyone else out there looking to run a Ostarine while on finesteride. I couldnt find any logs with this combo.

A little background. 40 years old. Starting experiencing thinning hair at age 23. Jumped on finesteride and it stopped it in its tracks. I virtually have the same hair as i did at 23 except little less thick and receded a tiny bit. Amazing what it has done.

One of the side effects of finesteride is increased Estradiol (one of the forms of estrogen). In fact some people can get gyno from finesteride. I have had zero gyno or anything close on finesteride. But i was really worried about taking Ostarine because of its anabolic effects (all though mild) and finesteride raising estrogen and getting gyno.

I have never run any steroids before as I didnt want to lose my hair since I was already prone to hairloss. I ran Ostarine for 6 weeks. Gained about 10 pounds, I would say 4 of this is fat as I was using it more for a bulk as I had gotten to skinny. My strength went up a decent amount across the board. Was an animal in the gym for some reason. Really happy with the gains and no GYNO!

If you are not prone to gyno running this with finesteride is not going to give you gyno in my opinion.

Now for some negatives. Sex drive shot through the roof the first 3 weeks. At week 4 it started decreasing. I could tell suppression was kicking. Week 5 balls started to shrink. Nothing crazy just could tell. I went ahead and cut it off after 6 weeks and am now doing PCT (Nolva and some natural stuff).

Sorry no bloods but I will be getting bloods after PCT and plan to run it again in a few months and will do pre and post bloods.

Hi there. I did the same but I DID experience estrogenic side effects. I had none while being on finasteride alone.

What dosage did you use for finasteride and ostarine?
 
Propecia scares the crap out of me. For me systemic suppression of DHT is not so great unless needed to protect perhaps an existing prostate issue. Most guy using it are trying to protect hair. Although a little higher maintenance I greatly preferred spironolactone topical preps. I love the feeling of DHT cranking through my body as long as its not wiping out my hair :)

I should have mentioned I ran it at 12.5mg. I also took Androst 3,5-dein-7,17dione, Olympus Labs El1minate 3 times a day so maybe that stuff really works as an estrogen blocker. Ostashred puts it in their capsules too.

Finesteride is 1.25 as I cut a 5mg proscar pill

Not sure if 25mg of Osta would have helped much more, i really had good gains
 
My doses were exactly the same but without anything antiestrogenic.

I would probably use exemestane on cycle if I am to do that again.
 
Minoxidil, nizoral shampoo, and sometimes tocomin.

It changed my hair drastically, to the point that people would not recognize me while standing right next to them.

I have dropped the finasteride though. It did not improve my hair beyond what the minoxidil had already done.

Was referring to anabolics/supplements etc and whether you also got gyno from those, increased hairloss?
