TRT vs. AAS

I have been on TRT for about a year now. I am 31 years old. I had a testosterone level of about 279 when I first got tested before the therapy roughly 2 years ago. Decent results, but still have trouble burning belly fat. I have also been taking HCG along with the TRT for about 6 months now. I have been going through a doctor with regular blood tests (don't have them in front of me). I'm going to nail my diet down with 3-4 meals a day of protein, veggies and 1-2 sweet potatoes and get my protein right.. Training is a mix of P90X and Crossfit.

I am considering dropping my TRT and doing a cycle of AAS (Tren). My friend has been doing it for a while and has experience with it. It might sound crazy, but is it really crazy?

TRT shuts down the body's testosterone production just like AAS. TRT is a steroid just like AAS as well.
Im assuming the only difference is that AAS is stronger, and AAS has a different molecular make up and is not bio identical to the body like TRT (that is what my nurse practitioner told me). I'm hoping that I can drop some fat and gain some muscle, then do a pct of HCG and or Clomid.

So....what are your thoughts? Bad idea? Ok if I pct? Other options?

I'm just struggling to get a half way decent body and my belly just won't go away. Feel free to give me your thoughts, I just ask that you be respectful.

Initially I was going to try Clen but my friend was less a fan of Clen than Tren. He said Clen raises your heart rate and Tren will get me cut just as well.

TRT is AAS. It's not stronger because it is a steroid. You just take the dose at a normal level that your body should produce. Tren is also an AAS, just a slightly different composition. Also if you were going to run tren, I would not stop the testosterone. Sounds like you need to do a little more research. Also Clen and tren are not in the same category of drug.. Do more research as I said

I was just saying my friend prefers Tren over Clen. The nurse practitioner recommended I do HCG while on TRT just to keep things going. I do notice that it helps with libido, so I'm sure it's helping things stay active without fatiguing.

No pct if on TRT huh. Well I would eventually like to come off TRT and try to reboot maybe with HCG/Clomid, but when I do that is another question. Thanks for the input.

Usually once you start trt you stay on trt and your gonna want to run a test base anyways on tren just add tren to your trt

Well the nurse practitioner at my Low T Center said if I go on Tren he would want to probably stop the TRT, so wouldn't he know I'm on Tren via a blood test? How would I convince him to stay on it? Hmmm

And also, I was hoping to come off of TRT at some point to give my body a chance to reboot, so I'm not sure if I want to stay on TRT without trying to cycle off of it for a while with some Clomid or something.

Honestly my biggest things is burning my belly fat. If I could just do that I think I would be fine. Muscle and everything else is great but if you have a belly nothing else seems important until you lose it. HIIT and diet ya I know.

If this is the case then trenbolone will most likely be a disappointment. You said in your first post that you want to lose fat and build muscle. You CAN do that now, and having optimized hormone levels via your TRT will be a positive over the long-term. If you want to rid yourself of a gut then you'll simply need to tighten up your diet/reduce calories, etc.

If you want to take trenbolone then have at it. But you should also get away from the thought that one of the main things keeping you from realizing your physique goals is trenbolone, or any other drug for that matter.

It's strange that you're nurse would recommend anything in regards to tren considering it is EXTREMELY ILLEGAL lol

Reread my post. I said he said if I go on Tren he would want to stop TRT. He advised against Tren actually. He didn't say he recommended Tren.

No I know I'm just surprised he commented at all on it. I would just stay on TRT if you decide to do tren go for it just don't mention it to the clinic you go to

I understand that, but people use Clen to lose weight, and Tren to put on muscle, so drugs do help attain a physique that would be a lot harder to achieve without them, that's why so many people on here talk about using them.

This whole thread is a cluster F. lol

1) If you're comparing clen vs tren, you REALLY should still be doing your homework. One is AAS, one is basically a stimulant. The ONLY similarity is the name. Which leads me to believe you're just doing this by the seat of your pants

2) If you've been on TRT for two years, coming off to run a cycle would be a crisis. At the end, your T levels would be so low you'd want to die.

3) IF you decide to come off TRT after two years, you'd need a serious recovery plan with LOTS of time off any drugs afterward to have any hope of getting back to "normal". If your "normal" was a T level of 279 to start, not sure why you'd want to consider this at all.

4) DO NOT ask a medical professional for advice about AAS. Their job is to keep you as healthy as possible, not to assist you in a risky activity that furthers your pursuits in the gym. DO NOT disclose you are on AAS, if you do indeed go down that path. You absolutely want/need the TRT rx to continue.

You're not informed enough for this at all yet bro.

This ranks in the top 20 most uninformed OP'S of all time. You need to do some serious research before you go toying with your endocrine system. Tren is the effing king of gear. When all the steroids are sitting at the table, and tren starts talking, everyone else shuts the f ¥ck up. Without the right ancillaries it's side effect hell. Lipids, cholesterol, bp, polycythemia, insomnia. And for God's sake stop talking to doc's and nurse practitioners about injecting livestock drugs. Sorry if the tone seems harsh, but you need to educate yourself about the entire game.
