How to burn fat and keep mass

Slight deficit (I like 200 cals under maintenance)

High protein (on a cut I like 1g/lb)

Don't overtrain in the deficit

Try to stay in a hypertrophy range. Generally 10-12 but varies by muscle group.




A good B-agonist is a large help in both regards IMO, as is any good natural anabolic

Utilize BCAAs if needed, during a cut my use goes up

Since you put this thread in Pro Bodybuilding, I assume your ok with AAS. Test and Tren will preserve your lean muscles on a cut. I don't think there is any better combo.
 
i always wonder why this comes so hard to the masses, Driven states the bare necessities... the duration and deficit plays a huge role if not the deciding factor in the mass maintained..
 
I'm taking the Sup3r stack right now and I'm on the second week of my cycle. I have about 9% body fat and my only trouble area are my lower abs and obliques

an anabolic while on a cutting diet.
teste is enough and simple. if you want to get more complex maste and teste for 12 weeks is nice. or test and var.
make sure you dont drop your cals in diet too low. keep protein high, fat med and carbs med-low ( i rec you google and research "carb cycling for fatloss", i found it great)
 
Pro bodybuilding is not AAS...
no offense but aas plays a part in most pro bodybuilding and in regards to this question also. other wise id post this thread in supp or diet section.
 
Not starting a fight, but there is a reason why there is a Pro Bodybuilding sub forum and a Natural Bodybuilfing subforum.
