I'm on this thread to support my views against liberal agendas and socialism. I did not vote for Donald Trump. And the only reason I would vote for Donald Trump is if he is the republican nominee. That is only because I do not agree with Hillary or Bernie. No where have I ever said I agree with Trump I just see him as the lesser of two evils.

I wasn't necessarily talking about you that time. I just saw people saying Obama is so anti-military, but Trump gets a free pass when he makes fun of a POW.

Can one have a "Muslim" name and not be a Muslim? Can one have a "Christian" name and not be a Christian? Can a name really be "religious" at all? I have a "Christian name" but I'm an atheist.

Back on topic. Again the racist bigotry thing is old and tired and no longer relevant. It is also not trolling. Obama has done me no favors and I do not see where his accomplishments outweigh his mistakes on the American people or the state of the world. I know someone will be quick to chime in with the unemployment rate and I can concede that one. But in the grand scheme the cons far outweigh the pros. That is of course unless you are supported by welfare and government subsidies. I can see how he would be a hero in that situation. If you are, you are welcome for that subsidy and welfare check that my taxes paid for.

There are a lot of bad apples in every movement, conservatives and liberals alike.

I'd be willing to bet these were people intent on robbing someone anyway, and appropriated that movement as a reason.

Theres tons of examples of BLM crybullies being openly racist against white people. That's unacceptable for people that claim to want "equality" based on their race to exclude others. The only difference between BLM and the KKK is the color of their skin.

This is a very good read regarding the BLM movement and I agree with what he is saying. The idea behind the group probably intended well but the manner in which they are conducting themselves is doing them no favors in race relations.

I condemn all race related organizations whether good or bad. If it has to do with race and organizes itself based on race then in my humble opinion it is a racist organization. This goes for ANY race. In my personal experience everyone bleeds the same color.

No race related group can call themselves innocent. They are all evil and demeaning in their own ways. People need to move on with the whole race issue. People have died on both sides of the fence and both sides are equally as guilty. It is inexcusable for any race to organize based on race.

nothing like spending time with my granddaughters to understand that even though we might have some very messed up politicians we still live in the best country on earth....just the fact that we all feel free to express our opinions makes us more free than citizens of most countries on this planet.

Surprised the thread made it this far before the name calling. Oh well it was fun while it lasted. Got respect and perspective and surprisingly a lot out of it, but as it gets closer to go time it's just taken on the tone of the political side show that we are watching on the tv.

yeah, I guess I shouldn't have taken being called a racist so personally, that changed the respect and perspective I had for this thread.

I am dropping out of this thread...being called a racist offended me and I have not been the same since.

I have a bad tendency to generalize right wing Christians, and this thread helped me realize it. It also really didn't make me change my mind, though. I'm just more aware of the bias.

Anyway, I think we are all passionate about our varied beliefs. That is a good thing, but it can be bad for civil discussion ;)

I am about sick of the race baiting and apologizing from the Left. But at the same time the outright denial from the Right that racism even exists makes it worse. I'm tired of it all. Where is my reasonable realistic representative from the Middle? Can the Common Sense Party be started by somebody soon please?
