Layne Norton's PH3

If you cant pull conventional then why not pull sumo? Thats by far your best option from what you laid out above.

I'll give it a shot over the next month and will work them in and see how it goes before I start the program. I'm not too familiar with sumo deads, but I figured it would be easier on my mid/lower spine issues. Thanks for your input

Just do some research online on form. It isn't a conventional pull. It feels weird as hell when you first start. Spread the floor with feet and knees, jam hips toward the bar, upper back back. You want your hips as high and as close to the bar as possible at your starting position. One of my favorite videos is by Chris Duffin and its titled something along the lines of "misunderstood sumo cues".

I hate sumo with a passion but this video did help me with some small things that are easily forgotten about

I wasn't thinking at all yesterday, I've got coaches at my barbell club that can teach it to me. But I'll make sure to check out the video too, thanks

Just finished week two, freaking loving it so far! Did my two tests and doubled up all, so get to increase my numbers by 3% now. Also noticing muscle fullness all week, it's awesome.

Hey guys, I've got another injury I'm dealing with atm, so I'm not sure if I will / can afford to try this program out anytime soon. I can't risk re-injury once I'm back.

I've got a pulled trapezius (upper/lower left trap and rhomboid nastiness going on) with some major spasms that don't want to quit. Currently seeing a sports clinic for it, throwing the works at it (A.R.T, TENS/EMS, Graston, everything).

I have to give it some major thought.... this might be something for me to try in the fall instead of this spring/summer. I might just cut/recomp down to about 9-10% instead for the summer.

This is definitely not something you'd want to jump into not 100%. Heal up and hit it when you're healed, will be worth the wait

Bummer man but this is def not the type of program to start with an injury.

I'll still be running the tren/mast/trest ace cycle though..probably an 8 weeker for mine and my gf's sake lol
This injury I have definitely isnt' a bad one, I get this maybe 3x per year and usually work through it till it's gone, but this time I'm going to be safe. Taking another week off upper body, just going to squat and do some upper body cable work with corrective exercises mixed in for now.

I'll likely do a strength / hypertrophy program still (with conditioning involved), but just scaled back from PH3.

Almost ready to finish the last phase of this program. Plenty of changes along the way, failed lifts, bruised ego nights, but I can't wait to have gotten though it. Def something worth experiencing.

Thanks. Yeah I'm going to make sure I'm in top form before attempting it. I need to catch up in your log.

I decided to run Trest ace with epistane this spring instead, to save money. Anyone still interested in me logging this? I was looking forward to trest/tren/mast but I'm getting lots of ink done and it has me tapped out for coin.
