Hulk going natty for a solid 365 days starting 1/1/16

I feel you here. Did a lot of useless -and-or moronic cycles, with short lived results. Always felt better when off Sarms or PH's -but no more gains.
I think I have figured out what's good for me and will jump on the TRT wagon. Going natty at my age is a no-no.

Totally agree, you look great tho. You almost remind me of a wrestler !!!

But I don't want to look like a wrestler, I want to look like Justin Bieber.

Naaaahhhh... hehehe!

I take it as a compliment, thank you for motivating me!

Decided 100 grams of steak and 1.5 cups of mushrooms was my dinner . 600 cals 80 g protein 45 g fats 110 g carbs
I think it was closer to a half lb lol

Bread??? That's POISON, dude- quick, throw it away, burn it , stomp it, smash it!!!!

That doesn't add up at all...
80x4= 320cals
45x9= 405cals
110x4= 440cals
.... That's 1165 not 600

If you ever wonder if I'm serious, rest assured I'm kidding. Meal is looking yummy!

(sitting here with 6 boiled eggs in front of me, no salt, slowly peeling them)

Well thanks for the clarification. I honestly had no idea hence the round number it would be nearly impossible to make a 600 calories double steak hoagie ! Can u explain how u got the numbers so i can take notes please ?

People used to think i was nuts eating sliced cold boiled eggs on top tuna sandwiches . Love that meal .

This is how I eat but without the sandwiches. Only Saturdays are carbs allowed then I opt for pasta or potatoes.

The local butcher shop has barbacoa have u had that hairygrandpa?

Don't know what part it would be, because barbacoa means BBQ in Spanish and Portuguese.
When I visit the US, I really like the steak houses. Corn fed meat is more smooth.
What you know as Argentinian grass fed prime meat, comes actually mostly from Paraguay, there is no boarder between those two countries.
The meat is very aromatic, you could call it.

Protein/carbs are 4 cal/g
Fats are 9cal/g

I think he just multiplied the macros by the calorie density for each macronutrient.

Hehehe, look out bighulksmash , weight watchers are watching you!

That's kind of the point of controlling calories... In order to do so you actually have to understand how much you're eating. He estimated HALF the cals. 500/day is a lb a week either not lost or gained.

And that was ONE meal. Do that 2-3 more times in a day and forget losing anything.

It's simple math. Clearly you struggle with that.

Very important to do it right. At one time I forgot to count calories from supplements, mega dosing fish oil, lol

Now I'm struggling to keep protein high without eating too much calories on a 500 kcal deficit...

Yeah I had an issue of high cholesterol last year my doc said knock down the fish oil and oil in general. Today I had steak for the past week I had chicken lettuce and all kinds of heart healthy food . I been drooling for that steak hg . It was great.

Lol, I haven't missed yours at all man. I popped in for a quick peek and that's what I see.

Your TOTAL carbs for the day should be like 110g man if you are seriously trying to strip some fat, even if you do some bike work and body weight work.

Good to see you know his individual macro requirements required to seriously strip some fat... Herp Derp try again.

I was going to ask him if he even had set himself any daily macronutrient requirements considering he doesn't even know how to add them up.

Those numbers were a guess you ignorant inbred ass wipe . Good night all .

Well seeing as he didn't know macros energy per gram, safe to say he doesn't. But then again, you say stuff like 110g Carbs and 45g fat before bed is a bad thing. So lots of facepalm flying round.

Well, come on man - we all know ppl vary and whatever else, individual requirements differ, people like to eat at different times.

But I think any idiot can accept that eating a bunch of carbs at night is not generally how you approach weight loss when you're obese.

Fish oil should help your cholesterol... Your doc sounds like he hasn't learned anything new since 1975 ha.

Well, well, lookey there. 120C for cutting huh? Who would have thunk it?

I guess i wasn't so far off the fukking mark after all.

Herp derp.

Bulking -- 3,226cals 238p/117f/314c
Cutting -- 2,500cals 250p/70f/120c AustBenny my macro split

Now all you gotta do is read the nutritional panel on the food you eat and weigh it and you're getting closer to actually dieting properly, instead of just "guessing" at the values of the food you're eating.

Well total daily calorie intake is by far the most relevant factor in weight loss, so if someone is eating at a 500 calorie deficit and consuming 2500 calories a day, whether they spread it out over the course of the day in 5 meals or eat them in 2 meals, the same amount of energy is consumed. If he wants to eat a larger portion of his calories at night before bed, how does it make a difference??

This is def not true in any way... Eating carbs before bed being "bad" is a total myth. There's a myriad of research as well as anecdotal feedback that suggests it's actually optimal to do so as it'll help you build lean mass while still dropping fat due to an overall daily deficit.

The only real factor that is important for someone who is obese is a caloric deficit. As an obese person, that alone is enough to help one lose weight. You could prob eat almost 100% carbs or fat and still lose weight.
