Asking girl out for Valentines day?

Been talking to a girl for awhile now, both seem interested in each other. Would it be "cheesy" to ask her out for Valentines day?

Ask her out for dinner.

Can someone ask me out for a date? I've never celebrated Valentine's Day.

It's sweet! :)

I have a feeling your inbox will be full : )

Seriously though. Try fro60ol's suggestion to cook for her. Or if you're not into that, take her out to a nice restaurant. Avoid the movie date as sitting and not talking for 2 hours isn't a great way to start. Keep it relaxed and simple, but show her that you put some thought and effort into it.

IMO The best first date is the one that requires you to spend as little money as possible. Cook her dinner at your place, get some wine, light a fire and just get to know each other. It sounds stupid, I know, but why spend a fcuk ton of money on the very first date? Maybe you end up not even enjoying each other's company. Wouldn't it be better to realize that before you spend your hard earned cash on dinner in a restaurant you can't pronounce?

Your best bet is to go scuba diving in caves but make sure she has much less oxygen than you. When she runs out, you can share your oxygen until you resurface. You should at least get an old fashioned out of it for your efforts. Good luck.

Take a walk in the park, hold hands, and enjoy each other's company. A date doesn't always require spending money or having SEX.

What I miss more than anything is having a great conversation and connection with someone.
