Anabolics for fat loss

I am 39 5'9 194 24%bodyfat. I am going to vegas April 14th and want to be in the best shape possible. I started a healthy diet this past Sunday. I am taking in 1 grams of carbs, 1.5 grams protein and .4 grams per pound. Can I get to 12% bodyfat in 10 weeks and is that realistic? What would you recommend to get in the best shape by then?
 
Can you drop 12% bodyfat in 10 weeks? no. But that doesn't mean you can't get in a lot better shape. I also wouldn't recommend an anabolic for you to do so. Eat below maintenance calories and do lots of cardio. You could take a stimulant fat burner and do your cardio fasted first thing in the morning if you really wanted to, but honestly I would just stick to diet and exercise if you're completely new to this.
 
Not realistic IMO.

In your attempt I would fear your health, between the AAS and calorie deficit
 
My bmr is 1885. I work a desk job and going to workout 4 days a week. How much calories should I take in to still loose fat? What anabolics would you recommend?
 
Vegas in 2017. Best way to never attain a goal is to set one that's unrealistic.
 
This is why I didn't suggest an actual anabolic, only that it would be hard to do. He's posting in the anabolic section and not the weight loss section so obviously he's interested in using anabolics

18% would be more realistic. Stick to it and you can do it

It took me since April of last year to drop from 25ish% down to 12.8% (according to calipers). All natty even though I got on TRT last nov.
 
I was going through a place in Floriday, have me on 300mg a week! I was horny as hell but wasnt really working out at the time.
 
Anabolics shouldn't be used for direct fat loss, rather to harden and solidify a physique. Your diet and training will determine fat loss.
 
I heard you shouldn't take test cyp when cutting because of the water it holds. Is that true?

No it is not,
Who cares if you held water? Leaves right after.

Not sure how much you still need to lose and what type of aas your on, but ifthe time line is about a month i would personally drop into complete keto ( somthing like steak and eggs diet) and possibly do a 2 week run of clen. If not that, at the least some eca and if you can handle yohimbine hcl, that too.

If you drop all the bs and do a strict keto, damn near 0 carb diet, you will definitely lose fat.

I mean if thats giving you results then keep it up. In my experience what i mentioned above dropped 12-15 pounds in a month for me. No muscle loss either, or if any very little.
 
It is always going to come down to your diet, but sure, an anabolic may help you retain some muscle in a deficit. I personally have never had much luck using an anabolic on a cut as I always end up gaining some strength which puts me in the "let's pack on some mass" mindset. I personally think you will be just fine without them. Save the good stuff for adding muscle/strength, that is what most compounds are best at.
 
How much of a deficit were you in during that month of keto?

My starting weight was 268 jan 4th. I went down to 250 by feb 1st. No cardio, no supplements, just eca and food. For that first month i was at 3200 cals with 150 carbs around my workouts. Tkd. From feb to march i went from 250 to 235ish and did straight keto. I averaged 2500 cals on workout days. Fasted all day on my rest days with cardio. Two rest days a week at 800 cals.
