Thanks to Chuck Diesel for asking me if I'd like to try his new Dieselade BCAA's! I received it late last week but had a cold so I held off on trying it until I could taste! Lol First impression on the packaging was great! The label and it was sealed very well! That may not seem like a big deal but I have had several products in the past that the powder has leaked into the plastic seal outside the lid or the inside seal pops off when taking the lid off. Just let me know that Diesel pays attention to the details.
I will be logging my workouts each day but probably only giving an update on my recovery about every 10-15 days unless I feel necessary.
Many of you may already know, but I am in the process of trying to repair my metabolism after years of abuse and then years of dieting. So nutrition is close to maintenance right now.
As for training, I just started a new program today! This is a full body program mixed with weightlifting, calisthenics, and conditioning! I will also be working in some bodyweight exercises on some of my days off. I usually train at 5 am except Friday's I sleep in a bit and train at 8 am.
Day 1:
Drank PWO on the way to the gym.

** This workout was rough today. Strength and energy are still low from being sick last week! Ready to get my numbers and energy back up! This stuff came just in time for that too!!
Fixed 1 scoop of Dieselade in 24 oz right after my workout! Initial thoughts:
Taste- 8/10 pretty good! Smooth! Not gritty or chalky. Simple flavoring but very sweet. The cherry flavor is much stronger than the limemade part as well.
Mix-ability - 9/10
Very good mix ability. I put it in ice water and shook it for about 5 seconds and it was mostly dissolved. Shook another 10 secs and it was dissolved. I did notice a little setting after it sat for a min. Nothing major! Just needed a little shake or stir before drinking. Didn't have a grainy texture so that was a win for me!
