Yeah it was sealed well when opened it and it was already a marshmallow castle. The kind gains live in though so it's all good!
 
Thanks I feel like I got the technique down pretty good. Just need to stick with it so I don't for get it again like last time

In my experience, overhead pressing really does help with benching.

I've dropped it a couple times to add more bench a ways out from a meet but it always cost me a lot of backtracking on ohp when I returned to it. From here on I plan to always keep it in except maybe a couple weeks out from contest. Plus pressing overhead is something anyone strong wants to do.

Strongly disagree. My OHP has gone nowhere, but my bench has improved. That may be that there are/were other inadequacies that improved the bench, tho.

This is true. I hope when I'm strong I'm capable of OHP'ing heavy.

Great day felt heavy today first set of 425 was ruff, came forward a few times on some sets but dialed it in. Never would have thought 425×10 was possible from me almost blew an eye out i think.

Deadlift worked up to a decent trip could have done a couple more but my 3rd got away from me a bit. For the down sets me and 2 other guys switch out immediately when finishing our set so it was quick as hell. Bounced 385 a touch I don't think it's as big a deal as they make it to be not like it helps a great deal

Then some light assistance work pretty much my whole lower body was shot at that point

It's not bad I've got it down good where my back is so tight I could keep it there all day

Ty everyone got to keep the momentum going and keep it fun or I'll just fall back into my slump again

My legs are still pumped / numb

Bench day tomorrow think I'm going to go with paused reps and try to balance so I can bench twice a week I see no reason why it would be possible consider the amount in project momentum
 
Here I am at a new Pizza joint in town and I'm going to get a salad smh

Im disappointed. Brotha...after that session you had you can afford at least a slice (or 6...or a whole pie).

Well this has been a ruff weekend I'm beat took a 3 hr nap today legs are stiff lats and upper back sore. On top of it all I start a shutdown next week on 10's till the job is done
 
Working hard on shoulders lats bi & tri's have netted me a gain of zippo on bench but they do look the part lol

Having big Calves have saved my ass numerous time in the squat I've had countless 400# plus accidental raises plus bigger calves larger hamstrings equals better self rebound. In addition bigger calves makes me look like I lift

Get a lot of tension in the front of my shoulders when pressing and doing decline curious if this may be contributing to my suckyness. Just the tightness

Sick volume. Decline bugs my shoulders fwiw. People always say to push your head through on ohp, but what helps me is the think fade back over my head.
 
I don't do any decline unless it's just a raise in the bottom-bench by just a plate.

That's mostly why I failed I didn't get my head through. I got to 3/4 lockout basically just needed to do that and snap my elbows and it would have been a 10 lbs pr o well no biggie

Yeah that's the point where I think most of us fail. You'll get it though.
 
It would seem I have to work the weekend so I'll be waking extra early to get my work in. Think for squat and deadlift I may do it alternating for 60 mins straight not sure about Bench maybe bench and pullups

Past 2 days have sucked worked 12 1/2 on a 4 on 14 inch olet 5% chrome weld preheat to 500° been kicking my ass about got it locked in now thou
