Mike Tomlin To Leave Steelers

You do know this is BS, correct?

This. My head almost exploded when I saw the headline. I like Tomlin and want him to stay. However, our defense (specifically cornerbacks) are awful.

Not this year. All the FBS jobs are taken besides two small schools.

George was taken in a heart beat. What NFL team would you see him going to?
Cleveland if they fire their coach?
San Diego?
San Fran?
Those are the worst teams in the NFL if they decide to fire their coaches.

I personally wouldn't hire him. I do not like the idea of the coach being the GM. That goes in any sport. Too much time and effort needs to go into each job. If he gets a NFL job, I would say the Titans beause of Mariota. Remember, he was trying to trade up in the draft to get him.

I know reports have said Drew Brees and Sean Payton will return to the Saints next year, but I'm currently debating which one of these scenarios is more likely to happen: Chip to the Titans or Brees and Payton to the Eagles.

Edit - Maybe if Texas, the Longhorns, have another bad year, they will fire Charlie Strong. Chip takes a year off from coaching and then takes that job. I could see that.

I'm not big into College Football, but I do follow it. Maybe LSU will fire Les Miles after this season. They were going to after the final game, but they won so the AD didn't fire him. That wouldn't be a bad program to take over. I think the only thing that would stop that though is Kelly having to coach in the SEC, it would be a little harder than the PAC 12
