None for my wife and I. Daughter is on deployment for 3 more months and our son lives about 5 hours from us with his family. Lost my Dad a year and a half ago and my Father in Law died earlier this year, so we're just gonna spend Christmas with our Moms. I am headed up to my sons tomorrow to see my 5 day old grandson though!
 
Had 2 Xmas parties last weekend. One Saturday one Sunday. This weekend just have my daughter's 2nd bday party tomorrow at the house.

Poor kid's bday so close to Xmas. Thank goodness for Xmas bonus!!
 
Enjoy them while they're around man. Before you know it, they'll be grown and gone. Time goes by sooo fast.

Tell me about it. I've got a 19 year old sophomore in college who just moved out!! 16 year old sophomore in high school, 11 year old daughter, then started over with this little princess lol.

My birthday is 2 weeks before Christmas :( I know all about that struggle!

I'm actually spending the holidays without family this year. Saving money, been paying off all my student loans and debt.

Thanks man. It really humbled me after that happened. 1 year of basically doing yoga 3+ times per week with very casual lifting, and constant EMS / TENS usage, daily, to help ease the constant pain. All under control now though
 
Man the Democratic debate gets no love in here. Not enough side-show antics I guess.

I only caught up on some highlights, didn't watch the actual.

I was out on the road and forgot to dvr it. I dunno how they let Hitlery on stage, she needs to be taken off with handcuffs that dirty criminal.

I definitely do not deny some wrong-doing and shadiness. And why I totally would rather see Sanders win. I just hate the professional politician and corporate sell out she is. Obviously I would be happy of certain Liberal policies maintained, but she's not my favorite.
 
Why does Sanders keep saying he's socialist though, when he truly isn't really. It's confusing people and going to end up hurting him.

I do hope he wins though.

Alot of things including illegally destroying Lybia and then smuggling weapons out which is the stepping stone to creating ISIS.

She is pro-war mongering filthy human piece of trash. And yes, she is sold out to the global infrastructure just the way Obama is.

I have nothing against Sanders other than I really disagree with his policies so I cant support him.

How is he not socialist? He is all about government interventionism when it comes to domestic policies.

His policies echo 'Democratic Socialism', but he is not a 'Socialist' nor is he even officially part of any Socialist movement or group.

'Democratic Socialism' is quite different than being a 'Social democrat', which he is not. He's not looking to replace capitalism, and America is already partially a Social Democracy already. Sanders also isn't looking for the government to run the economy entirely, but instead he wants the government to prevent the economy from ruining millions of lives. Big difference.

Well yeah, democratic socialism is whats set in place, the last thing we need is more of that because obviously its a failed system and the country is broke.

Having a politician in the white house who isn't corrupt, or a war monger, might make a big difference in that respect imo. We're broke because all of our GD interventionist wars. Not because of healthcare, UI benefits, education, food stamps, etc.

What you are doing is simple fear mongering over a name with a stigma around it.

I certainly want to discontinue all the wars which includes the war on terror, the war on drugs and leave all those bases around the world unless some country finances it for us.

Having the IRS pick pocketing the fruits of my labor and forcing me to buy into government services without a choice is corruption and is an act of terrorism to the respects of everybody's individual freedom and liberty.

Also think how much more money would float around if you got rid of all the bureaucracy it takes to implement these systems.
 
I really REALLY hope that one day, the US ends all of these wars, and puts this money towards the crumbling infrastructure here. Make this country great again. Focus on the homeland, and the people here.

Its not going to happen, as we see in recent times we are fighting a war agaisnt a tactic that is impossible to win. The stage had been set after 9/11 to be at a permanent war overseas and domestically and this is also feeding the Military Industrial Complex with fortunes which cannot be lost.

If Hitlery wins or Trump wins I guarantee they will leave office in a time of war, and at a war for reasons fabricated such as Vietnam or 9/11 and not real self defense. If Sanders win they will pull that crap off on him too and he will subdue to it or they will kill him.

Yeah, tit for tat. It will always be subjective what people think is worthy of contributing their money too. I definitely don't support mine going to fund this over-inflated military budget, war on drugs, the list goes on and on. But yeah, tax me for education, infrastructure, insurance, humanitarian benefits, etc.

The libertarian utopia will never exist. I try and keep my expectations based in reality. And in reality, if all these factors were left to the individual to decide, there would be no benefit to anyone but "the self". It is what it is. We live in this world, I'm in favor of maximizing things for what they are. No, I'm not for welfare and food stamps. But I'm also not for starving kids. Or dying vets. Or breeding criminals from even more poverty. There is a benefit to helping the less fortunate. It at least keeps things out of chaos. Humanity is savage, don't underestimate the danger it would cause to leave the poor poorer and further behind.

Libertarians are not for starving kids and dying vets, its quite the opposite. It doesnt mean we dont want good education and humanitarian things, etc...thats just totally wrong.

Why not give people choices? Why not at least limit this to a state level rather than a government level and let people decide what type of system they want to live in? If things dont go well in your state you can freely move to another state and opt in.

Also alot of these things can be paid for in different ways on other types of taxes that arent nearly as demeaning of creating a government ownership of peoples individual right to own their labor. This countries infrastructure was developing find before the the income tax was put into place.

You are right. There are many different systems that I don't know about or haven't looked into. So my argument is lacking any hard research. Just more of my case for middle ground. Some compromise in the middle of it all would go a long long way.

And there is no perfect system thats for sure.

Economics and politics are so vast I in now way want to come across like a know it all, lol.

I think whats best for this country and the world is choices and options....thats what makes the states so special. We have 50 mini countries here and if we dont protect state rights from federal government intervention over the power of local governments we all lose. This is now happening, and been happening but if we can at least protect that we can satisfy far more people as we are not all the same nor want to live in the same system.

Government will never work for the people. No political ideology will work out. Even classical liberalism and minanarchism or the constitutional era turned into now, those are the best political ideologies hands down. Government doesn't want yo end any war nor do they give a shot about us. Politicians says **** to make people vote for them, yet they turn into the same mother****er they promised not to be. Also don't forget the corporations and banks have a say in policies.

I think this is a recipe for a bad mix of culture. The last thing I want my troops to worry about is what comes out of their mouth and being distracted with various potential politically correct issue and other things while on the battlefield.

Let the troops be responsible for their own bad behavior. If they have proper discipline, which is required in the military, then they won't be a$$hats on the battlefield. If they lack proper discipline, then they shouldn't be in the military to begin with.

It's not very difficult to respect a woman.

Being in war there are no rules. Its not about proper discipline, its about killing and destroying your enemy and not worrying about being a nice guy.

Look at wars historically, there is drugs, rape and prostitution things get crazy. Look at our WWII vets who are my heroes, many (certainly not all) went out and treated women like whores overseas to relieve stress. STDs were everywhere.

Its just not a realistic mix. War is not the same thing as working at Wallmart.

I want them to men and winners and win the combat!

I can't listen to Bernie Sanders without thinking about the guy who played George Steinbrenner on Seinfeld. Sounds just like him.

I think there are places a guy should be a guy, and a girl should be a girl. And if in battle, the last thing I want our guys to be is worried about being polite. And getting punished if they're not. It's just an unnecessary in my opinion. I'm all for women being equal, so I'm torn on what I'm saying here. But the push by women to be in here is a mistake. Hell, why not let them join the NFL?
