Pretty sure there aren't any qualifications to be in politics. I'm pretty sure that most politicians couldn't pour pi s s out of a boot if the instructions were printed on the heel.

I went to bed about 45 minutes into the "main event" (as CNN called it lol), but does anyone else feel like it was a bad debate for Trump?

His answers and comments seemed really generic and uninformed.

This was my first debate so I don't have one to compare it to, other than the highlights.

Trump keeps his statements pretty simple because:

1. So people can't challenge his proposals.
2. He really is simple minded.

Honestly I laughed my ass off when he pissed off Jeb Bush. Too funny.

He thinks that by saying "people like me, look at my crowds" that people who are undecided are just going to flock to him.

I hope that doesn't happen but by looking at his polling numbers increasing to 41% it seems possible.

I had to go to bed too, will finish it on DVR so only saw an hour. He just mumbles the same old stuff over and over again. Like the crazy uncle having dinner every Christmas with your family that never has anything new to say, just the same old stuff to complain about.

If Obama talks to people like they are in the 4th grade intellect level, Id say Trump talks to people like summer school after you fail the 4th grade.

He loves to talk about himself in such a vain way:

"People like me"
"I like smart people, I'm a very smart person" - thanks for telling us, still doesn't make it even close to true
"I'm rich!!"

His selling points are so weak. He literally echoes what others say, but makes his comments/stance more extreme.

My favorite part last night was when he went on a rant about something, and the host said "isn't that exactly what Obama has said?" ..... Crickets, and more of his hilarious facial expressions.

Trump is definitely a clown, not a politician.
 
Last night on the youtube live debate some one kept typing trump gump on auto send ever 1.3 seconds. .. hilarious clogged up the feed and made it go offline
 
just an observation, but to me it seems like people I see are even more hateful this Christmas time than in the past. I mean even if you aren't religious you could still enjoy a season of peace and joy it seems?

Where do you see it? First hand or through media?

And agree. I'm obviously not religious, and have several friends/family who aren't either, but we all still appreciate the holiday season for many reasons.

Are you speaking primarily about non-religious people being hateful? Or just anybody?
 
Ok guys, Im not voting for anything of these schmucks, although if it gets close I may comrpomise Rand Paul but I doubt it. Im far more likely not to vote for president, and even pick a 3rd or especially independent. I dont even think my vote counts anyways.

I thought it was awesome how Trump got 9/11 truth and exposed how on 9/11 when they grounded the entire country from flight the Bush family had rounded up Bin-ladens family and friends up in the air, out of the country and back to safety in Saudi Arabia.

This isnt even considered as a topic on mainstream CIA Media (Fox, CNN, NBC, etc....) What the Bush family did is one of many WTF? moments of 9/11.

people in general. while driving or in stores it appears to me that people have a certain disrespect for one another. manners and common courtesy seems nonexistent. honestly I have never saw so much rudeness in all my 57 years!!!
 
I watched Obama's news conference today...it made me laugh when he said as long as we stick together we will be fine. to me Obama is the great divider, this country is as divided as I've ever seen it. race/religion/gender/sexual preference/gender, geez talk about a country at odds with each other!!!

lol...when Obama talks about American values, whose values is he talking about?

Yeah I see it too. But I also see a lot of good people still. It's not dead. Best we can do is keep it alive and teach our kids a bit of kindness, manners, and respect.

My opinion is there's just too many damn people in the world, so when you have a segment of them that suck, it seems like a lot.

A total tool of control this division. A spawn of the media. It keeps the two parties thriving. Everyone wants to be part of a selective team, whether it be religion, politics, gender, sexuality, social class, musical taste, etc. It gives you identity. And knowing you are part of this group or that gives you a sense of support. And everyone wants a fight to fight. There are great divisions that will never be fixed. The key is compromise. And that is what's lost.
