Reminds me of the Human Giant sketch where the guy tells his buddy he created a time machine and his buddy is ecstatic and asks if he prevented any world traumas and got to tell his father he loved him before he passed - to which the guy confided he only thought to pick up the last case of crystal Pepsi.
