beginners preworkout

For Christmas I'm getting my gfs little brother preworkout because he's recently started lifting. I was wondering what a good starters preworkout is nowadays? He takes adderal, so maybe not to much stim and a fair bit of pump. I've only looked for the most stim heavy pre's for years now.

MuscleTech Anarchy (Canadian version) is a great one if you can get it. Very clean and steady and the white grape taste like juice! Any of the C4 series is another good option, I would recommend the C4 neuro though as it has Nootropics. If you want to go stim free, high volume gets a lot of love. I hear Conqu3r unleashed is arguably the best all around pre workout but I'm not sure if it might be too strong for a beginner.

How little is little?. Supplements are for those 18 years old and older. Also since he is on adderall I think you would be better off getting him something stim free. Better yet just get him some protein.

Yeah get him protein or a book about bodybuilding, Arnold's The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding is a great one and has a load of information about training, nutrition and so on.

Don't get him a book lol but what's his age? I assumed he would be in the 17-20 range since he's on Adderall but protien would be a better option.

Nothing but assuming he's under 20, it's not as exciting. Don't get me wrong books are very beneficial but he would probably be a lot more happy with a supplement unless he likes to read.

You could also buy him a monthly sample deal. I forget who does it but one of them you subscribe kind of like a magazine and they will send you samples of all different kinds of supplements. If would be good if hes just starting to try supplements. And its usually just amino acids, pwos, and protein powder samples from various companies. Can't remember how much it costs tho.

For stim free check out Hemavo2 by iForce. Provides great pump and focus. Also comes in some amazing flavors

I would suggest a non stim route like IFN Hemova2 max as well since he's on adderall. The gym membership and books are also great non supplement ideas!

For someone who has NEVER used a pre workout before. Might want to go the stim free way (Hemavo by IForce Nutrition is one of the best)

But also for some who is that age, supplements right off the bat might not be the best. Maybe get him a gym membership or find some awesome E Books online so he could have a digital copy of the book vs the "book". Shelby Starnes and or Chris Aceto are two people I would google

Stim free Conqu3r would be a great option. It's going to come down to if he plays sports as well as certain ingredients are banned

I agree with a nonstim...especially with him being on Adderall. Conqu3r Unleashed stim free, High Volume, or Hemova2...all are good options.

I also agree with some of the other options. My hubby got my nephew (lifter & football player) a gym membership & protein one Christmas (when he was 17yo) & he was really happy with that.

I'm a book person myself. I'm an old guy though but I like the physical aspect of being able to hold a book in my hand, and like the smell of paper...Plus I don't like staring at a screen for hours to read. I can throw my book or drop it on the floor and it's still fine. Try that with an e-reader.

I'm a young guy and prefer a physical copy of a book. I'm packing my stuff to move and I have more boxes of books than anything else.

I used to be a member of a computer book club many moons ago. They'd send a mailer/catalog out with different books and you pick 2-3 each month. They went belly up, but it was awesome while it lasted.

Grab him some White Pipes. There's some good holiday deals floating around.

Edit: Just saw the Adderal part. Disregard :) Pick some up for yourself at least

Hard to believe we can reccomend supplements for someone we know nothing outside of being 19, in college, and takes adderall.

Go with Arnold's book, he can get more and longer lasting gains learning the basics of proper lifting and nutrition. Bet he'd enjoy it now and later when it pays off.

Well, maybe the nutrition part. Also how do we know he likes bodybuilding?.

Something that might fit for someone new would be SNS focus xt. It's not stim heavy, gives unreal focus, and can be used as much more than a pre workout such as for gaming, studying, etc. very versatile and pretty much universally enjoyed around here
