Estrogen blocker? had my bloodwork done

Hello

A few days ago i've had my bloodwork done since I was curious about my testosterone levels since my libido has been relatively low in the last few years.
I'm a 33 year old natural and i've been working out more or less regularly for 10 years.

Now i'm a bit sceptical about my estrogen levels which are a bit on the high limit.
Please take in mind that I'm from France and the test may be a bit different and some values are in a different unit.
Between the () are the recommanded values from the Lab:

Testosterone total: 7.02 ng/mL (1.68 - 9.54)
Prolactin: 6.2 ng/mL (3.5 - 19.4)
Estradiol: 43 pg/mL (11 - 44)
SHBG: 34.0 nmol/L (13.5 - 71.0)
TSH: 2.6 mUI/L (0.35 - 4.5)
free T4: 0.8 ng/dL (0.7 - 1.5)
free T3: 2.8 pg/mL (1.7 - 3.7)

I somehow don't like my estrogen (estradiol) levels, and maybe it's the cause from my low libido?
I was thinking of buying some mild estrogen inhibiter and try that for 8 weeks and look if I feel different. Something like OL Eliminate or PES Erase Pro+

Any suggestions?

Yes. Find a doctor and work on your thyroid. Bring the free T4 and T3 closer to the upper range and watch for the change in symptoms.

If that is a sensitive estradiol test then it is not really high as your SHBG is not low. Now if your SHBG were 15-17 then E2 of 43 would be high enough to notice high-estrogen symptoms

If you took either product you mentioned and took bloodwork afterwards you may notice that your thyroid gets even worse. It is because it is the likely bottleneck.

Good info right here.

wow, i didn't even think into that possibility.
In a blood test exactly one year ago, my TSH was 3.8. unfortunately no other significant tests (testo, t3,t4..) were done.
Could it be a factor that I was on a slight deficit with <100g carbs daily when i made the blood test?

I'm taking Orange Triad daily (which includes iodine) and my vitamin D is > 50
I think i'll do a blood test again in 2 months and if it is still low, talk to my doctor about it.

If it turns out to be generally low, but no disfunction or disease which would require a more drastic measure like thyroid hormone therapy, what sort of safe natural supplement is there to take daily to boost my thyroid hormones a little bit?

I think taking orange triad is a good start. Iodine and vitamin D are both really good in that area. cook with coconut oil as well. I've heard that will help it.

Oh yes, dieting would do that. Good to see that it improved somewhat now that you are not dieting.

Thyroid hormones are just tyrosine and iodine. You might require more than the iodine in Orange Triad to register an improvement on blood test. You could look into Iodoral and Lugol's solution and take 5-12.5mg daily. Yes, it sounds a lot but is generally well tolerated and it works. However, before doing that, please rule out autoimmunity issues by testing Thyroid peroxidase and Thyroglobulin antibodies if possible. And please let us know how it goes.
