Ephedrine hcl vs fat burners

Hey guys. I was wondering if ephedrine hcl is more effective in burning fat then most top fat burners out there. I really don't want to spend a lot of money on fat burners and ephedrine hcl to me is looking like the best option. Also can I stack ephedrine hcl with a pre workout? Something like the original hypermax or dust v2. It would also be helpful to list the effects of ephedrine hcl.
Im in Canada so the top fat burners are a hassle for me to get but feel free to leave recommendations. Now discuss!
Thanks!

I wouldn't mix it with a pre (especially not the ones you listed), unless the pre contains only caffeine as a stimulant. A caffeine tab is cheaper and works just as well.

Ephedrine is much better than OTC fat burners overall (especially in terms of cost and effectiveness), but it has its downsides as well.

More potential sides, strain on your kidneys, for some people like myself it makes you feel like a zombie (similar to ADD medication), again for people like myself, more alertness, but less stim energy than Caff + Y, and more.

A big downside is it's very effective and works quick, but you can also put the pounds on VERY fast coming off, whereas with an OTC fat burner the progress is much slower and less profound, but the pounds tend to stay off easier, at least in my experience.

If you have no underlying conditions, try it out. Do a lot of reading about it first however. Invalid Link Removed is a great place to start, but pop in any questions you have here or in Google and don't leave anything to chance because if you don't know what you are doing and do stuff like take too much or do hard cardio on it, you can mess yourself up.

Thanks man! This was very helpful. I'm probably gonna stay away from ephedrine hcl for my upcoming cut since I will have intense boxing training. Any recommendations on reasonably priced fat burners? My cardio is obviously gonna be pretty high due to boxing and am probably gonna lift 4 times a week. I'm planning on using a pre workout for my lifting sessions and a fat burner before my boxing training and off days or off day lol.

Depends on the individual. I stack ephedrine with all the pre I've had. I've done it with the original hypermax as well. If I can run it year round I would but I only use it on a cut.

Check out pes's fat burners. Maybe try shift or norcodrene or alphamine.

+1 It's one of the most studied "fat burners" out there, some studies going on for months of continuous use. OP, Start off with a 100mg Caffeine tab and 12.5mg E-HCL once. Then work up, eventually ending up at 200mg/25mg up to 3x/Day. I'm not saying there are ZERO concerns, but I also think the detrimental effects can be a tad overblown.

Yohimbine HCL is another well studied one to look at, working up to a dose of .2 (two tenths) mg/Kg. Again, start low and work up, it'll only take a few days. You can alternate days of E and Y - OR, with proper BP monitoring, use both after again, starting with areally low dosage and working up.

Bottom line, especially with cost being a factor, they are the most studied, most effective, and cheapest - just make sure you are in a good enough deficit below TDEE - cuz that's the absolute best and cheapest "burner" :)

I take 1 serving of ec stack daily. I feel that it keeps me lean. I've tried few fatburners but ec stack is better.

It is generally as effective or more so, but as you are in Canada and on a budget this is an easy decision, run EC.

What effects are you looking to hear?
Assuming no existing health conditions EHCl is as safe as anything. Monitor BP/HR your first few uses, or if you ever increase your dose.

Stacking with a pre is very against label recommendations but can be done, again cautiously.

Recommend you grab Kaizen brand in bulk (so easy here)

The major consideration for choosing a fat burner is the type of adipose you have to loose.

Ephedrine is beta adrenergic agonist and Yohimbine is an alpha adrenergic agonist.

Can you clarify what those are. I have no clue myself.

Alphamine would probably be better for this purpose. More of a stim punch/energy, and hard cardio shouldn't be a concern.

im only conversationally competent in that area of supplementation.

There has been a huge increase in these sort of supplements so I'm behind the times in that regard.

Here's a thread I started many years ago. I'd be interested to see what response it will yield if you bump it.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. I don't need anything extreme for fat burning, just something that will speed it up a bit and give me a boost.

if cost doesnt play a role, i would switch Y hcl with rauwolscine HCL.
much less sides, same effect

Alphamine is OK to stack with a pre workout? I'll be taking them at different times of the day.

If you can handle the caffeine, it should be fine. You can do pre before lifing and Alphamine before boxing. If you haven't had Yohimbe before, I suggest testing it out first. You may get too jittery and may not be able to box.

I tried yohimbe in pre workouts. No jitters but I don't know how much is in them. Could be underdosed. And yeah I was planning alphamine in the morning 1 scoop and if need be 1 scoop before boxing. I hope taking about 550mg a caffeine a day is int gonna totally fry me. Planning on running alphamine for about 4-6 weeks and most likely stack with original hypermax and hopefully high volume. My pre workout will have no more than 300mg of caffeine. It is safe to be taking that much caffeine if I can handle for about a month right? I don't wanna completely fry my CNS lol. After this I'll take 4 weeks off of all stims

Your caffeine tolerance is up to you. I wouldn't take HyperMax and Alphamine at the same time simply because it's just wasteful and not needed. Alphamine serves just fine as a pre as well, especially if you have High Volume.

Thanks man! Definitely gonna have to pick up hv and Alphamine.
