I'd have to see the profile on g8 first.

Yeah I try to avoid addictive things, except stimulants but even those I don't let get past certain levels. Benadryl usually works and I can just stop taking it anytime.

Finally slept!

Well kinda.

Skipped my night time meds as I noticed when I take them I get more alart/restless. I was getting pretty tired from a busy day at this point. Hr/bp could be felt. Took some bp supps. Couldn't feel it anymore after 30min. Then while still not quite a sleep took two benadryl. Finally slept for 8hrs.

I don't know that I would consider it even remotely addictive as caffeine; we're not talking like this is a dangerous compound here guys (unless you're on antidepressants, as it lowers anxiety and can have complex relationships w psych meds).

OK I'm in then. I'm not on antidepressants. Just stuff for bp. Its my only issue ATM.
 
Wish we could! Lol. Sad part is I've taken about 200mg of caffeine today and it hasn't done shît.

200mg would have me lit. I took 100mg when I got to work. I'm not awake and functional. I've done a great job keeping my tolerance down over the years. Use to be bad.
 
I'm dead tired at this point. I haven't taken my med yet.

Took half of my med dose. Waiting an hr before I take the rest. To slowly monitor effects. I went from awake. To restless and alart. I'm starting to wonder if I got the right script lol. Why would it effect my energy this way?

Oh I hear ya. I'm usually 100mg most days. Training days is 200-300mg. Depends. If I really gotta stay awake and I got horrible sleep I'll dose 400-600mg.

Me too. 2-3 cups coffee upon waking, stimul8 shortly after, and sometimes more coffee when I get to work.

Notes: had a rough plan that wasn't followed much at all. Just taking it day by day ATM. Still having issues with my bench form. Feels very off and loose. Had a good buddy really asses my sets. Found out I'm still extending my lumbar to compensate for scapular movement. Once I fixed this on the larsen presses it all clicked. Very different feeling. The pulldowns were to help with this feeling. The rows also helped. Then fly's and dips both finally felt right using the same cues. I'm very excited about this as I feel this is the thing I've been missing for some time.

The bad? My top end now sucks. The chain work was harder then the top set straight weight. Something to work on and it'll tax my pec less.

I've lost my tightness at the touch and my leg drive. Gonna get this sjit back. I will say I have to stickum my feet every set I bench flat footed. The floors are that bad. Even in the cross fit power shoes and oly shoes.
 
Never touching losartan again. The insomnia on this stuff is unreal. In over it. I'd rather have stupid high blood pressure and be able to sleep. That is how much I hate insomnia. I'll take anything over it.
 
So looking at the highlight reel seems like maybe you could tuck the elbows a bit more? If that gets your lats tighter at the bottom and you can figure out how to get more leg drive the combo should really help speed off the chest. They're related I'd wager

Never been much of a tucker. But I'm deff under tucking here.

I usually tuck a touch more myself. I think I was focusing on using my pecs to much. Instead of maximizing the mm movement.

No way can I do that. I'm leaving in a month anyways. No more crappy floors.
 
May try to change back to the straight bar on Friday. It just hard to keep tightness at the bottom with the buffalo. It would also be nice to bench normal again. We will see how it goes.
 
Saw one of the two chiros I was seeing. Said my hips is about 80% better. Did some more adjustments and stim. It feels better. Making a come back.
 
Officially had insomnia for a week straight. I'm starting to just give up. I can't take this anymore. Its really wearing me down.

I cant fall asleep tonight either dude. Fck this sucks lol. I took a scoop of white rapids at like 7...probably my issue. I dont usually have problems passing out whenever i want.

I know. I almost skipped it but i usually take 2 scoops so didnt think itd be an issue. And yah, i hear ya. I have to be up in 5.5

No worries. I'm done worrying about it. Eventually I'll be so tired I'll just start passing out. Problem solved. Insomnia is characterized by hyper arousal. I'd had trouble sleeping in the past. I assume this may all be in my head or stress related. Occums razor would state its the most logical solution anyways. Did it start when I took the bp meds? Yeah. Could be them? Who knows. In a day or two if its still going on I'll know it wasn't them. Took 500mg l-theanine last night. Seemed to help. I usually take 100mg but I was desperate. With 2 benadryl.

I use to be able to take caffeine that late and pass out. Those were the days.

Notes: tried the cambered bar. Obbs version is to fat and narrow. Felt weird and really had me leaned over. Hit depth on all working squats. Have some vids. Extension felt minimal on all set except the last two. I could tell when it happened tho. Love the leg curl down. So much more power in the hole now. Need to wedge under the bar better to avoid tipping. Gonna stick to ssb for now, no shoulder pain but the ssb is harder and hits more quads which I need. Overall productive day. Shoulder is improving daily. Strength is there. Hip is 90% better. Subbed sldl for leg press (addresses a weakness and my hams were already cramping from the squats).

Insomnia not related to bp meds. Didn't take them for two days. Ehh probably stress caused me to be in a state of hyperarousal. Not worried about it lol.

Took 25mg of lorastan this am.
Checked bp on normal cuff after espresso.

Not gonna be using this bar again. In flats bc I just love them over oly shoes. Still feel like I'm on my toes half the time in the. Will use ssb from now on.

Would love form critiques anyways. Be honest and rip me apart.

Edit: the guys checking my depth says good when I break. He called my depth last meet and I went 3/3 all whites. I see a touch of extension near the bottom and my hips are way back. I think I'm gonna tough it out and learn the only shoes. Better depth, hips closer to the bar for a better wedge effect, more quads (which I lack), and even easier depth. Only a .5in heel too so not a huge change.

Lol I knee that would irk some of you. Goal was achieved. Thanks bud. Its amazing what actual rehab will do. Can you comment on my squat form in the vids please? Determined to have a squat like you and sean.
 
Leg curl down cue has my hams sore as hell from squats. Quads are fine? Even with the leg pressing lol

Quads have more slow twitch fibers. If you're a trained individual it's hard to make them sore. Hamstrings are another story. That's why it's easier to pull a hammy too. I'll comment in a second. Gonna do some LISS
 
Squats are a tad high. Likely due to the bar bending you over more than a straight bar would. I like the torso rigidity though. Like you said it's not perfect but it seems improved even with that wonky bar.
