Cissus? Anything else new for joints?

What are you currently using?

Fish and Krill oil (caps), Cissus and Now Foods D-Flame.

Need to augment this with the "joint staples" (Chondroitin, Glucosamine, MSM, Hydrolyzed Collagen, etc)

We should have it in stock this week....then we will post ingred profile
Interested for sure!
Many and many joint supps out there, and for u to say when this one come out forget the rest that's a big statement, so yeah I'm interested hopefully not overpriced :).

It's from SNS, so of course it will be priced reasonably.

Looking forward to it. The SNS team always puts out good quality supps at a fair price point.

As far as these new generation Curc's go, pretty sure Meriva was proved to be bunk where as its competition Theracumin was a good choice.

Mike-long time no see. Good to see ya

I will google that - never heard of it. Thanks

Formutech Nutrition makes a solid joint formula called Flexible. I have only used the capsules, but they do make a fruit punch powder.

SNS doesn't do a whole lot of formulating...BUT when they do the products ae fantastic!!!

I am assuming that this new product will be a formulation versus a single ingredient???????

Whats the serving size?

Read last few lines: For a horse

Feed 2 oz per day for the first 5 to 17 days then reduce to a maintenance dose of 1 oz per day. Mix into regular feed or administer via a dosing syringe. The quart size provides up to a 32 day supply for one horse. For Horses only

Acti Flex 4000 Solution Quart Invalid Link Removed

DIRT CHEAP as we would probably take 1/6th (?) the serving but I wonder if there is something in it that would make humans sick???

Description
Acti-Flex 4000 has an advanced, fast-acting, liquid formula of Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, and Superoxide Dismutase. THese ingredients occur naturally in the body, serving the function of repairing joints and many other tissues. In Acti-Flex 4000 they, andother key ingredients work together to improve performance by increasing the horse's supply of joint-lubricating synovial fluid, which repairs and strengthens stressed body parts. -Type II Collagen is the major protein found in cartilage and is the newest ingredient in the family of Acti-Flex products. Type II Collagen is the "glue" that holds cartilage together as well as providing elasticity within the joints. -MSM adds a powerful ability to improve sulfur bonds, which are an essential component of all connective tissue. -Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is a key to optimizing bioavailability of the other ingredients, as well as being an essential antioxidant. -Boswellia Serrata is an herb that is proven to reduce inflammation. -Hyaluronic Acid (HA) plays a critical role in maintaining healthy joint synovial fluid and preventing the deterioration of aging, over worked joints. HA has a high daily turnover so large amounts are needed to maintain proper levels within the joints. HA is also shown to influence cell movement, blood vessel formation, critically involved in healthy wound healing and serves as an antioxidant. By supplementing what a horse produces for itself, Acti-Flex 4000 speeds the body's self-repairing processes. Guaranteed Analysis Per oz. Glucosamine Sulfate 8,000 mg. Chondroitin Sulfate 4,000 mg. Type II Collagen 3,000 mg. MSM 3,000 mg. Ester C (Ascorbic Acid) 1,000 mg. Yucca 150 mg. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) 125 mg. Feed 2 oz per day for the first 5 to 17 days then reduce to a maintenance dose of 1 oz per day. Mix into regular feed or administer via a dosing syringe. The quart size provides up to a 32 day supply for one horse. For Horses only

you'd have to be careful I think, the ingredients may be fine in humans, but the handling may be entirely different. I could be wrong, but if it's designed for horses, you'd want to know how the raws were handled if at all differently to human grade.

I know humans do use this though, scaled for bodyweight

I really like Formutech's Flexible..has Cissus along with MSM..Glucosamine..Chondroitin..Hyaluronic Acid

Get the new Joint Support XT. You won't have to do all that math converting horse servings to human servings. SNS- All our products are for humans!.

I am the ultimate test for this...I've had scope done, cortisone injections the whole nine yards...ortho says I need knee replacement-no cartilage-bone on bone. it hurts like hell..i can't afford to take 6 months off to get knee replacement done and I am in real pain!!!

Just leak the damn label already :D
or better release it, but a question for sns reps are ingredients going to mask pain or lubricate etc, and I wonder if it will have long term positive effects on joints after stopping.

High dosed Sam-e truly beats everything.

It's been proven to be as effective if not more so than prescription anti-inflammatories. Real science behind it too.

how high is 'high dosed'? it can get expensive!!!

I usually just run 400mg, can't really tell if it does anything for my knee-I've been on it a long time for other health benefits such as liver also...

1200-1400mg per day. :D

YOU TRIED IT AT THIS DOSE!!! that would be a expensive experiment over 6 months!!! and if long term.....$$$$$$

but if guaranteed to work it would be worth it at this point.

Nah I use it at 800-1200mg while on cycle to support joints, liver and mood. :)

But a friend of mine with a major knee issue who was going to be doing a lot of hiking around Asia once consulted with me about supplements for her joint pain. I recommended a few of the leading joint supplements out there. They didn't do much for her. I then asked her to try supplementing 1200-1400mg of Sam-e, and it made a huge difference. She tried it out in the 2 months prior to her trip and she ended up using it while there. It was a 3 week long trip, so it was pretty important for her.

this is something I might consider....the cost is prohibitive, but it beats limping around saying ow ow ow every step, lol.

If trying it out, only go for the enteric coated caps! Also blister packs are better. I've had good experience with the Jarrow brand.

If I could recommend anything else for joint pain / joint health, it would be flossing with compression bands (voodoo bands), as well as using one of these:
