There's a reason places are going to automated change machines on their registers.

people who I think are WAY overpaid for what they do...who bitch and moan every time an increase in the minimum wage is brought up!!!
So you look down on wealthy people, what's the difference?
My first job was at Dairy Queen in 1994 while in high school. I worked there off and on for almost 5 years. There were kids my age back then that couldn't count change and that was before common core math made kids even dumber than they used to be. Those kids worked there for a long time and couldn't count change up to the next largest coin.
How about ordering a plain cheeseburger, and the order taker asks if I want cheese on it. Or ordering a Diablo burger at Hardee's and them saying we are out of the sauce and peppers that are on it. I say so you just have a cheeseburger. They say no, it's a Diablo Burger without the Diablo toppings.
I've worked fast food, telemarketing, courier, worked in a cube farm, and been a technician for the largest phone company for the last 16 years. I don't look down on people.
I didn't look down on them, they just annoy me. I'm definitely not misguided.
Have some french cries with your waaahhhhmburger.
most cash registers I see today are digital and tell them how much change to give you.
it could be that it was that persons 1st day on the job and they really need that job to support their family, maybe they got nervous and made a simple mistake...have you never made a mistake at your job?
too bad your parents didn't give you some paddle to go with your ass!!!
If your skill set doesn't include an elementary age skill of additon and subtraction, your skill set probably doesn't command a $15 minimum wage.

The sound of people chewing lol

Any time someone doesn't say thank you I still just say you're welcome lol
Haha for real I do too. Hold open a door and they walk through like they are entitled without saying a word. I always say you're welcome with a snarky look on my face. Happens more than I'd like. I always say thank you when people are courteous...always
Catcalling.
Walking down the road in a business district, in business/work attire, on my break. Car pulls up slowly and is following me. It's a man, he rolls down the window and starts ambushing me with questions like, "what's your name, where are you headed, do you need a ride? Come on, just get in the car I can take you." Like, WTF, NO. JUST NO. THIS IS HOW PEOPLE GET KIDNAPPED! It took a few tries to dissuade him but he eventually left me alone.
Entirely inappropriate and absolutely terrifying since I was by myself. Luckily it was near a fairly populated and public area.
I almost picked a fight with another one of those "non-thank-you for holding the door females" at the gym. I looked right in her face as she walked through the door - nothing!. I handed my key fab to the desk clerk while she was behind me and turned around and looked right in her face again - nothing! After my pab was swiped I stood right there next to her staring in her face while she waited to have her key fab swipe - nothing! So I said out-loud "so, i get nothing, nothing, not a thank you?" Desk clerk who saw this whole thing transpire kind of freaked that I called her out. She ignored me. I followed behind her repeating my first statement - nothing! Did not even acknowledge my presence. Bitch!
not all women are like that...actually many women I hold the door open for are pleasantly surprised and over thank me, it happens so rarely these days.

I'm always grateful when someone holds the door for me, and I make sure that they hear me say thank you.![]()
I am hopeful that if more men treat women like ladies, that more women will act like ladies....hey, one can always hope, right.
I went on a date with a guy who opened the door for me, held my hand while I got inside, and put my seatbelt on for me.
I also went on a date with a guy who walked ahead of me the whole time.
lol...should of quit while you were ahead.
Eh, I'm done dating for a while. Gotta focus on my family, school, and training.

When people don't stop at stop signs on bicycles.
I hate people that live in a complete **** hole with ceiling falling down, duct tape stuck to walls as decoration, electrical outlets that have been burned out, hasn't been cleaned in year, complain that when they want me to move their cable modem to another room in the house, they say I don't want a wire run on the outside of the house because it looks trashy.
I am very sorry to hear this, but not surprised. there is a lot of inappropriate behavior going on. many in todays society have no clue how to behave appropriately!!! BUT there are those of us who would have put that joker in his place!!! not ALL men are like that.
Definitely. Initially, I thought it was an isolated incident from a weird creep. However, it happened again just recently. Same place and time. It's now turned into harassment and I no longer feel safe in and around the area I have to be in day in and day out. I'll probably have to file a report with the local police.
