I asked the baker about any fall inspired donuts (ie pumpkin). She was pretty coy about it, but said we may do something for Halloween.

Overall not pleased at all with this offering. The base was subpar considering the white chocolate offered in the base. The total amount of mix-ins offered in this pint was next to nothing. They should relabel this to Coconut Dream due to the fact there were minimal almonds or white chocolate. If you want a pure Coconut Ice Cream this would be something to highly consider. Would I repurchase this flavor? Not a chance. I do hear the Peanut Brittle is worth a scoop, but until I ever see that I will pass on Comfy Cow.

Based on the description it sounded like it had a lot of promise. I love white chocolate! The white chocolate chips were great in NO bread pudding (best NO pint imo).

Really enjoyed the Bread Pudding too, because WC is very rare on the ice cream base flavors. Wish it was offered more
I loved Cafe Au Lait being a coffee junkie those sugary swirls and beignets were epic.

Speaking of coffee... I took your recommendation and picked up some coffee crisp bars on my way out of Canada... Dude, they're kit kats ha. So boring :p

Agreed based on the pints of each I have scooped so far. I will be doing a head to head test this week of Choc Shoppe Mint Avalanche and NO Mint Cookie. We shall see....

Neither really have similar flavors. both are good brands
Chocolate Shoppe Mix-Ins tho....

How about them Oreo's & Mack Fudge. Ultimate Oreo was so hnngggg
Cafe Au Lait was so good though (being a coffee lover) something Choc Shop does not have.
 
Gelato Fiasco Sriracha Peanut Gelato

Gelato Fiasco asked Is it nutty, slaty or spicy? This pint completes all of these things in an interesting fashion. You get the nutty compliment from the salted peanuts. The spice factor is on the weak side, for those who enjoy a hint of sriracha or hot sauce. The base reminded me of Peanut Butter Straccitella without the chocolate pieces and replaced with salted peanuts. Smooth or Crunchy? This pint offers both. The Gelato Fiasco base is known to be extremely creamy and delicious packed with the crunchy salted peanuts. Was i crazy in love with this pint? I would say its very good, and not to mention extremely unique to see peanut butter and sriracha hot sauce combined in a gelato. If the heat factor was a bit higher, and the peanuts were denser in size I would consider it a home run.

OK - Mint showdown:
Chocolate Shoppe Mint Avalanche ( A mint lover's paradise” Chocolate Shoppe mixes both Andes Candies and Grasshoppers cookies in their green mint ice cream)
vs
New Orleans Mint Chocolate Cookie (mint chocolate cookies and chocolate flakes crackle through our mint ice cream cream).

Base: Chocolate Shoppe has the artificial green coloured mint ice cream vs the natural white mint of NO. The NO base is nice and creamy but the CS base is more minty and has a fudge swirl which is fantastic! CS wins this round.

Mix-ins: The milk chocolate flakes in NO are a nice compliment to the base but unlike a Graeters pint they are actually flake size. The cookies are small and spherical in shape (like the size in a breakfast cereal). They add a nice crunch but I don't get much of a minty taste from them. I didn't really find that many andes mint pieces in my CS pint, but I did get a lot of grasshopper cookies which again were fantastic. Both mix-ins build on the mint base and with the swirl are great. Another round to CS.

Overall: I would rate NO MCC a B and CS MA an A- because it actually lives up to its name.

Graeter's Cincinnati Pig Tracks

Cincinnati Pig Tracks I had very high hopes for, but I was slightly let down with the fudge inclusion on this Graeter's Pint. The lack of fudge resembled a small brown swirl from top to bottom. The base was something I knew would be epic from first bite to last. If you have not had Greater's Vanilla base it is a must try. The peanut butter cups combined with the vanilla base alone gave this pint a great score, but I can't say this is one of my top 3 flavors on the Graeters line. I would still prefer Buckeye Blitz, Cookies and Cream, or Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip as top flavors over this one.

bbartsche even admitted on IG he needs to stop counting so meticulous and keep eating more... just trying to help him with his major problem in eating enough.

No offense dude, but you have no basis to justify this ranking. Have you ever ate with either of them in person?

I have broken bread with mkretz, booneman77 & The Solution.

Mkretz & Boone can eat for volume and I fully admit both can out eat me. Who can eat more? I don't know.

TheSolution and I ate roughly the same amount of food when we threw down at the Arnold. Can he out eat me? Perhaps, I just don't have proof of it, we weren't trying outdo each other ha.

we both had plenty more left in the tank at BD's and Graeters, but we were not trying to aim for a volume type load. or else we would of had another 4-5 plates each at BD haha.

You and I both know what we can do damage wise.

To be honest I would rather have 2 Graeter's towers instead a plate or two more at BD ha

If we are all getting together just to bankrupt a business that's cool lol. But if we are trying to crown an eating champ that is more difficult to judge.

Maybe something like a donut showdown bbartsche I m sure you would be down ;) All I know is I ate 9 donuts and 4 donut holes from Friday at 3:30pm to Saturday night at midnight (on top of 4 takeout meals, ice cream and other deserts)
