Bulk vs. "Lean Bulk" ???

It's just a matter of how large of a surplus you are eating, and what kinds of foods.

Dirty Bulk = 1000+ calories over maintenance with no regard for types of food eaten. Fast food, ice cream, junk in general can all be consumed just to load up the calories.

Lean Bulk = 500-ish cals over maintenance while still eating clean foods, lean meats, etc.

That's my definition.
 
Obviously the "lean bulk" will result in less, if any, fat gain, but also probably slower LBM gains. At the end of an all out bulk, or "dirty bulk", there is usually a considerable amount of fat to be lost.
 
But then it also depends on how you respond.. Cause I can eat anything I mean anything and I'm pretty cut. If I ate clean and did a clean bulk I would have better cuts during my bulk.
 
Well, the reason I ask is because I was talking to a nutrition store worker - where they sell SARMS otc. Was asking about Ligandrol vs. Ostarine, and the worker said that Ligandrol is better for "bulking" while Ostarine is better for "lean bulking."

So, if this is the case - and if calorie intake is the same - what might be the expected difference in results between LGD and Ostarine?

LGD over Osta for mass gains. Hands down.

Osta is best for maintaining muscle while cutting. Lean bulking is putting on muscle. Dirty bulking is a excuse to get fat. Bulking just means gaining weight.
