I'm a 32 year old male, 6 ft tall 215lbs. Lift 4-5 days per week. Moderately strong, moderately chubby.
My wife and I have a wedding to attend in Puerto Rico in 10 months. I'm looking for the best way to recomp to look my best for the trip.
I'm low 20's bf %. 30 lbs of fat is realistic IMO. I'm 40 weeks out, so I'd think that's doable. (Even with the holidays and Octoberfest beer season)
Am I better to eat slightly above maintenance and work hard for the next 12-16 weeks to build more muscle, then cut for the 2nd half? Or try to lose the flab first, and build the muscle prior to the trip?
Then, what is the best way to go about that?
