Going to try 3 caps this afternoon myself! Looking good in that pic, I'd probably have a similar look on my face after a workout like that...lol

Today is arms, calves and maybe some abs with cardio!!
 
So today I made the mistake of having 2 cups of coffee and taking 3 stimul8 a few hours later lol. I'd say I felt like I took a full serving of Stimul8. Not bad, just that I thought I'd need a Xanax after the gym lol. But I managed to expel all the energy in my workout. Today was arms calves and abs. I did three different super sets on tris and bis and then hit leg press calf raises and seated calf raises. I hit all three angles on the leg press and did FST-7 10 sets with 7 secs rest between each one in seated calf raise. Some hammer strength abs and 30 min on the elliptical trainer. Hit the sauna for 10 min as I'm retaining water like a sponge today. Now it's time to eat!!

Lol right? I came off epiburn because of that. The only fat burner I'm using is the non-stim patch with age force which is working nicely. I'll have to have less coffee lol

Not a bad pump in today's workout. I was able to do 8 reps at 100lbs for tricep pushdown with the v-bar. Slow, controlled and no form break. Pretty excited about that one but shhhhhhh don't tell my doctor lol

Not a bad pump in today's workout. I was able to do 8 reps at 100lbs for tricep pushdown with the v-bar. Slow, controlled and no form break. Pretty excited about that one but shhhhhhh don't tell my doctor lol

Today was quads. I'll post the workout later but I'm loving Stimul8 as a preworkout. I may never use another one again!

This was me, too. Almost a year before I was ever a rep I tried Stimul8 and never used another pre (except samples, of course).

Sorry for the lack of posts guys! Saturday's I have class all day. Yesterday the hubby and I did a quick full body workout, 25 min on the elliptical and 30 min of swimming at my gym's pool.

Today I'm hoping to hit some arms and cardio with him. This week will be less about lifting though. I will most likely not be taking stimul8 as my step daughter is with us this week and we are going to universal studios. Keeping the diet somewhat clean will be a challenge. Hoping to come back next Monday and not weigh more than I do now lol. If the hotel has a gym I may use that during the days we are there.

Have you tried the pills away from your work outs. ? I took some the other day when I was just feeling tired. Like the easy feeling of 2 pills

No I haven't but that's a good idea. I think I'll try that this week!
 
So today was an off day. Yesterday we did arms with double drop sets on each exercise followed by two additional sets of 6-8 reps. Tris were smoked by the end. We finished with 25 min of cardio and then I ruined my diet for the day with chia seed pita chips and goat cheese feta at 1am. No ****s given though, it was amazing!

Took 3 Stimul8 again yesterday pre workout. I'm seriously loving this stuff. It's been so long since I've had a great pre workout. I loved the powder Stimul8 but I found with the pills, it's a little easier to control the dose, plus it's one less thing to drink before the gym.

I tried on some bathing suits yesterday and sadly my bulk affected me in areas that I'm not happy with. Lots of cardio to come now. I think next week I'll begin fasted cardio either running the neighborhood or bringing breakfast to eat at the gym after cardio then lifting.

I read an entertaining studyy yesterday about how they did a study on obese people. They gave half the group a cardio regimen, and the other group a strict weight regimen. The 1st group lost37 lbs of which was27 lbs of fat and 10 of muscle.
The other group lost 32 lbs however it was all fat!!! The table home was its much better to focus on weight training and diet than to do cardio.

No no no...not your typical female! Most of the body fat I'm holding is in my thighs butt and hips....so the same place as most typical females but I'm not fabricating things lol. If I eat too much junk food I get a bit of cellulite and that's what I'm up against

I like this study too! I need to focus harder on leg days. I split them to twice a week, but being home all week with my husband on vacation, we've been lazy lol
 
Sorry for the lack of posts this weekend. We were prepping for the hurricane that never came, class and today being Sunday it's recovering from the cheat meal we ate late last night. We might hit the gym today but most likely I'm going tomorrow. Tomorrow is back and abs with the plans of fasted cardio in the am!

Yesterday

I attempted fasted cardio by running two miles at 8am. Screw fasted cardio haha. Yesterday was back and abs

3 - High Cable Lat Pulldowns: (switch handle up workout to workout) Rope/Vbar/Wide Grip: 15 rep - 12 rep - 8 rep

3 - Seated Cable Rows using wide grip lat pulldown bar: 10 rep - 15 rep - 8 rep

3 - Barbell deadlifts: 10 reps - 12 reps - 8 reps

3 - Single Arm Hammer Strength plate loaded row: 8 reps - 12 reps - 10 reps

I did some land mines and v-ups for abs and called it a day.

Great energy with Stimul8. Still takin 3 caps. I'm at my heaviest at 128 but I'm hopeful that the cut I just started will work soon
 
Now today. I did chest/shoulders and 30 min intervals on the stair master. That thing kicked my ass and I love it

3 - Pec Dec Flies: 15 reps - 12 reps - 10 reps

3- DB Incline Press: 10 reps - 8 reps - 8 reps drop and do another 5

3 - DB shoulder side laterals: 15 reps - 15 reps - 8 reps dropped to another 5 reps with a lighter weight

3 - EZ bar upright rows: 3 sets of 10 reps

3 - DB front raises superset with either Hammer Stength/ DB/Barbell shoulder press: Aim for 8 reps on each exercise so your total rep count per drop set complete is 15-16 reps

3 -Reverse Pec Dec for Rear Delts: 15 reps - 10 reps - 15 reps

I had some egg whites and Ezekiel bread for breakfast but the bread tanked my blood sugar before I made it to the gym so I had a handful of trail mix. I usually have oatmeal but was too lazy to cook it today. Won't do that again lol.

Good now, brought my meals to the dealership while my car gets some work.

Yesterday we greens juiced again and it was great. Plan on adding it to dinner tonight .
 
Workouts like that and eating back on track will speed things up quickly. Great job, although I'm not into those green juices...lol Will say that the Tropical Smoothies franchise has a killer protein smoothie, triple up on the whey though!
 
I love the greens juices! Some kale, lemon, lime, parsley, Apple, carrots and some stevia! Perfection
 
Hmmmmmmmm.........I'm gonna stick to eating my broccoli and spinach instead of drinking them. :)
 
There is a place up here called Booster Juice, always so busy... I tend to make my own... $7 for a smoothie no thanks. But also with Montego on chewing my cals where possible!

There's was an entertaining study recently that says there is no benifit to fasted cardio.literally that unless you are at the very lowest body fat it will have 0 effects, and even if you are, it's so minimal is not a statistical difference. . . Food for thought, or breakfast!

I'll take that! I feel like I get a far better workout when I do my cardio after weights.

Today I must have silenced my
Alarm in my sleep. I wanted to be up by 6:30 because they are installing hurricane shutters at 9 today. Well I woke up at 7 and between making breakfast and timing my preworkout, I haven't made
It to the gym. So I'm hoping they finish by 1 and I'll go then. It's ham and glute day today. If I don't make it I'll just combine today with quad day on Friday
 
so yesterday was quads. took 3 Stimul8 pre workout and knocked out this workout in 2 hours lol.

5 mins on the stationary bike or stair master to get blood into your legs.

3 - leg extensions: start your first set out with half reps, just in the middle of the range of motion. Each set there after increase to a full range of motion. Lock out your legs at the "top of the rep" and squeeze them hard for a second before you lower. 15 reps - 20 reps til failure - 12 reps to failure

2 - Smith Machine squats: keep these both at 12 reps each.

Ascending weight high rep Leg press: Start with 25lbs on each side. Hit that for 20 reps. Take a 45 second rest. Add another 25lb plate per side and get another 20 reps. Repeat this til you can no longer get 20 reps. At that point just take every set there after to failure. Keep the 45 second rest between. Once you can only get 5 reps with that weight you are done with those.

3 - barbell back squats: 10 reps for 3 solid sets.

not as sore as I expected but we shall see how tomorrow goes. Today i'm in class and tomorrow is a rest day. Enjoy your labor day weekend folks!

so sorry for the lack of updates guys! Things have been busy around here. Hubby is doing an initiation for Chiefs in the Coast Guard so his hours are all a mess and I've been helping him the best I can. Yesterday we attended a memorial for a fallen retired Coastie. It was well done. I didn't know the guy but he seemed like an awesome person.

I did a quick back yesterday. I was up at 5:30am to get my entire day accomplished. Took 2 Simul8 instead of three because I took the dose immediately after having coffee. Workout went like this:

High cable lat pulldown with rope 3 sets: 15-12-8

Seated cable rows with lat pulldown bar 3 sets: 10-15-8

Barbell deadlifts 3 sets; 10-12-8. I really enjoy deadlifts and managed to do the 8 reps with 45lbs on each side of the bar. For me this is a PR of sorts because this lift requires pulling motion from my arms and I need to be extra careful about straining my neck. I pulled out 8 reps no problem and have a very sore lower back today so I'm excited to add some 2.5 plates next week!

Single arm hammer strength rows 3 sets: 8-12-10

I was done in about 30 min. I skipped cardio because I was pressed for time. Took me 90 min to drive to stupid Miami to take care of retirement paperwork on base. I still have to go back next week for dental and physicals.....can't stand driving to Miami lol

today is hams and glutes. Just took 3 Stimul8, will knock out the workout and then restock at Costco....my fridge is empty of all the necessary items for the week.

on a side note I took advantage of some labor day sales and bought more pumpkin spiced candles and some pumpkin spiced tea from Teavana. I'm bringing fall to Florida one way or another!
 
I take a half scoop to 3/4, 2-3 pills in comparison, after my 3-4 cups coffee and love it. 4 scoops or 4 caps afterwards? No way...

Yeah Starbucks bought them a few years back. I only use the tea when I'm not taking a preworkout or while at school and I brew like 2 tsp of each together (oolong, black, green). **** lasts forever lol
