Hi!Hello!!!
Listen to puccah8808 . She is a well respected female member of these boards and her advice will trump most with regards to your mentality towards your goals.
Welcome to these boards fightergiu , you have family in us remember that.
️

I am sooo glad you know where I'm coming from. You're right, I know I need to heal my mind...no idea how to begin there. Working out helps a lot, especially with the self-empowerment necessary for recovery...but it's a two-way street. You don't need to lose the body fat before trying to gain muscle, lifting will help you. I use to think like that, too. Kat and I have lost a huge amount of weight, too, and can understand where you are coming from.
My biggest advice for you is to get your mind right because at this point, no matter what anyone tells you, you probably won't take their advice. Just like millions of other people who have lost weight, the scale is probably your enemy. Not letting it define you is probably the hardest thing.
800 calories is dangerously low and you know that it's not good for your body but I'm sure you've been at it for a while. I do understand the anxiety that comes along with change but understand that the people on AM are here to help you. Also, you know that you needed help so you took the first step by joining our family.![]()

I have no insurance right now. /: Working on it. I am a pre-Med student and I have a good idea of what I should be doing with respect to nutrition. I have some illogical complexes that have made it difficult for me to nourish myself. Plus a digestive disorder.A diet less than 1200kcal/day should technically be monitored by a physician. Have you went to see a registered dietitian as well as discussed a plan with your doctor?
Oh, I see. That would be helpful. It would take a lot for me to muster up the courage to talk to them about it. Only one person in my real life knows about my habits.Doctors don't go to school to learn about nutrition, but they can monitor blood readings an see what's going on inside. They would refer you out to a registered dietitian (specialist) as it'd be unethical for them to give nutritional advice of that scale
The rd would be for the illogical complexes an help finding logical solutions to your diet
