TGR's Modified PowerBuilding v2.0

Oh, did lots of banded mobility stuff. Shoulder and bicep both felt great today. I wanted to do more shoulder stuff but some dude wanted to talk about the ShouldeRok forever.

You know that it doubles as a "mace" right?! Lol

Nice going on the shoulder pressing. Seems to be coming along better now and no pain. Positives on both fronts. I gotta remember to work in some land mines myself, been ages since I've done them.

Thanks man. My first time, and I really like them.

Strong pressing Thomas! Glad your bicep and shoulder are behaving. That pancake looks good too!!

Thanks y'all!

I expect my sling shot and knee sleeves to be home when I get there. I'm excited!

Everything fits!

Haha, sh*t. Thank you! So it's a PB powder? I haven't researched it. What's the benefits?

Its sold as "peanuts crushed up with the fat removed". It kind of does taste like peanut butter. A lot of people use it as a pb replacement (if calories are low or you want to save them for something else) or to add a pb flavor to cooked/baked goods. It also works to kind of thicken up batters (pancakes, etc). I know Solution prefers pblean to pb2, he says it tastes more like pb. But i dunno where to get that.

Pb2, pb lean, and PB Fit all taste the same in my opinion. It's powdered PB with 85% less fat/calories. Awesome for shakes and baking.

Here, Publix and Walmart carry PB2, and Sams carries PB Fit.

Thanks, guys! I'll snag some up today. One last question, out of those 3 which is the best for low calories/fat?

I think theyre all pretty much the same. Pb2 is 45cals for 2tbsp. I think like 2g fat and 4g protein...maybe 2g carbs? I dont know i cant remember off the top of my head.

Thank you, Thomas!

What u know about restrepo and korengal??

I watched those two movies/documentaries for 3 months straight. Something about it captured me and I couldn't fall asleep without it on. It's weird that you asked me because I started watching it again. Do you love them, too?

Is the taste of the powdered PB similar to regular PB?

To me, 100% similar. Only difference is texture. They say to mix 2 tbsp with X amount of water to mimic PB, but I haven't tried that yet.

I see jiff makes a powdered peanut butter now

I haven't seen that yet but I'll look around. Just saw last week that PB2 has a powdered Choc PB out as well.

Spending some time with the wife and I have more conference tomorrow. I promise I'll catch up on everyone's log, but may be a couple days.

Thomas, tell me that that stuff isn't grainy and will dissolve if I mix it in things!!

Wow, that sounds good. I'll have to check that out. I love PB!

It's awesome. Mixed into my pancake mix and my hakes with ease, and no clumps like protein powder can do.

If you like PB, you'll like this. Promise.

Hahahahaha. That's my unit from the military. That's me in Afghanistan. If u like the movies read the book he wrote before War. By Sebastian Junger

Damn. Brought my wife's car and forgot my headphones.

I'm going in at noon so u beat me to it by a long shot today. But we got finals at school and get out at 12 so I took the opportunity to sleep in. Till 5am. Lol

Lucky. I now have to find a way to stay awake at a conference with seats that kill my back.

I just didn't feel it today. It didn't help I had to listen to pop crap.

Meadows Rows felt like a million pounds today. On the last set of 2, the strap was sliding off.

Do straps go bad? These are roughly 3-4 years old.

Lol! 215x18 PR and wasn't feeling good? Beast! Today's music just hasn't got the same soul! Pop crap is all girlie music!!

It really was. I don't know how anyone goes to a commercial gym without headphones. Typically, if I'm not 100% I can find a song or station that pumps me up mentally enough. Today, just when I needed the extra push on Krocs, Gwynn Stefani came up and punched me the gut. lol

Jeez man, those weights are impressive!
I don't know if you have yet, but I have been really liking the Invalid Link Removed to help with grip.

Good work man!

You recommended them before. I'll get a pair. Thanks man.

No worries man. I couldn't remember if I had.
I grabbed a Meadows Row bar when they were on sale at EliteFTS. I'll let you know if it helps any when it arrives.

What's a meadows row bar? I use a standard bar, and the straps are used because the end wants to spin. You think your PowerGrabs would prevent the bar from spinning?

Its an attachment that slides over the end of bar to make the rows easier and more secure (thinner handle and it doesn't spin).
I think the PowerGrabs (or the like) will work because you hook the bar with your hand and the rubber strap goes in the opposite direction; kind of locking the bar in place. Its kind of like the over-under grip in deadlifting- the strap is holding the bar in one direction while your hand is holding it in the other.
I hope that makes sense.
I am doing back today so I will try to take a pic or video of how it works.

I just saw that video of the somersault squats and must say they are something I want to try. Great job as usual Thomas
