Btw morning cardio is in. Might need to alter plans today. Have my niece today and some errands for my daughter. So will likely have to push lifting off until tomorrow

All right folks, so I was able to get some brief quads in yesterday since the time presented itself.

7/21 afternoon
30 minutes treadmill 12% 3.8mph

Box squats (10 sets) 3 sets @ 415lbs 5 reps per

Based on time and feel, this provided enough of a pump

This morning is in as well, as is the Lax application. Decided to hit some bis today to test out my right bi since there is a slight strain on the lower end of the bi

Treadmill:
50 minutes 12% 3.8-4.5mph

Bis:
Hammer curls (5 sets) 30,40,50lbs dbs sets range from 8-12
BB curls (4 sets) didnt go above 95lbs as the strain is still slightly present based on feel

Good pump however, which is something I am starting to notice each workout. Muscular density is definitely improving. Most muscle groups are hard to the touch even when not working out
 
I have done USAPL before. Would,probably go back to them as 40 is in the "older" category which is where I need to be. :)
 
Good to know youre noticing a little bit of a difference already! Could be just your hard training but maybe you could attribute a little to the laxogenin ;)

Lol. I am just happy to hit decent numbers @198. Still have a medal hanging in my office at work.

As an aside, hit another 40 mins of cardio this afternoon. Had some free time and nothing to do so decided to be productive.

What do you do for cardio? just LISS like treadmill or walking etc.? Been thinking of adding 30 minutes of walking a week, because after work and working out I lay in bed and do nothing most nights. extra 250 calories burned never hurt!

I do this daily and it really helps buffer the lactic acid buildup. Throw some netflix on and just walk. Time well spent.

DEFINITELY gonna start doing this when I have nothing else going on.

Highest incline rapid walking. Always get a great sweat.

I just got done watching Generation Iron...Took me I think 4 cardio sessions. Next is The Snake and The Mongoose
 
Another great afternoon workout. Needed to blow off some steam as spent the last few days between dentists and orthodontists for my 12 year old. Wow.....the expense for oral surgery and then braces. Unlucky kid got my teeth. :)

Pre w/o treadmill
40 mins 12% 3.7 mph. Great sweat again

Chest
Incline BP (9 sets) 2 sets of 275lbs for 5
Incline flys/press combo (5 sets) 60lbs each set to failure

Tris
CGBP (5 sets) sets @ 225lbs reps 5-7
2 arm do ext (5 super sets) 75lbs & 55 lbs to failure no wait time

Great pump and numbers are where I want them :)

Great sweat yet again....chest is very sore, which is usually what happens after I perform the db supersets

Application is on and dry

Back this afternoon for shoulders and chest
 
Rough afternoon workout, predicated by an outdoor job today that was a tad more complex than it should be. Had to change all the outdoor light fixtures, and only had a shorter ladder. Calf was a bit strained as a result. Still lifted and did my extra cardio, just used a slower speed

Pre W/O cardio
40 minutes 12% 3.7mph

Shoulders
Seated Press (7 sets) <stayed a little lighter today> 3 sets @ 185lbs 5,5,4 reps
Side/Rear Lateral superset (5 sets) 35lbs to failure

Back
BB Rows (6 sets) 2 sets @ 205lbs 5 reps
Banded reverse hypers (5 sets) to failure
Wide chins (2 sets) to failure <forearm/bi still not 100% so I stopped it here>

Overall not bad, I could tell early on that my strength wasnt where I wanted since I was out in the heat earlier for a few hours.

Back at it 100% tomorrow for legs

Morning cardio and lax application are done. Calf is still slightly tender, nothing that will cause delay this afternoon however.
 
I do calf raises every week but a little work on a ladder and I am sore for a week !! Funny how that happens !

Just sore, it is still slightly sore, nothing too crazy. This is what happens as I get older. Typical innocuous activities and I get sore, lift like crazy and I am fine. Odd

Legs went well yesterday, calf posed no issues at all. Focused primarily on box squats @335 for pause reps. Legs were nice and jello afterwards.

Some good Chinese and some beer. I never drink either so after 2 I felt like I needed a nap lol

haha awesome. I love Chinese food (authentic and the Americanized versions). Lived in Beijing for a little over half a year.
