Labs using Test E 50eod,adex0.25eod

Total T 24.6nmol/l (6-27)
E2 73pmoll/l (0-172**
Tsh 1.33miu/l (0.3-5.6)**
Prolactin 8.3 ug/l (2.6-13.1)
Free test 848 pmol/l (196-636)
Dihydrotestostrone 5016pmol/l (860-3406)
Bio test 18.8nmol/l (3.6-11.2)

I have been feeling stable. Good energy, libido is crazy. Maybe some extra aggression and anexity. But i am bipolar2 and have anexity normally so hard to tell.

Doctor called me freaking out that i need to lower my dose. So he said do 150 a week. Which i will convert to 40mgeod. Adex 0.25 e3d. Adex e3d because i am guessing keeping at eod will bring e2 to low as i am right in the sweetspot at 50mgeod

Do you guys think this will bring my numbers down to high end of normal. Or do i need to drop T lower. I am just nervous that if i end up back at 100mgwk but with better numbers then before because of eod shots this time. My doctor will know i have been doing something.

I am planning to do 40mgeod/adex 0.25e3d for a month and then get some private bloodwork so readjust if needed before doing my trt doctors bloodwork. I hate the fact i need to sneak around for no reason.

I have tried 200mg e2wks, and 50mg e3.5d before. Incase you are wondering why i do eod shots. I really like eod shots just need to find a dose that brings me to high end of normal.

50mge3.5d labs.*
Dhea 5.8umol/l (0.05-10.9)*
Testosterone 12.4nmol/l (6-27)*
Free testosterone 77.1 pmol/l (15.6-146)*
Estradoil 106pmol (0-172)*

Advice would be great. Thanks.

So you went from one 200mg shot every two weeks to pinning 50 eod? Your numbers would be high, Have you tried 75mg twice a week? I cant see needing to pin more then twice a week, that's just me.

Ya i tried 80 e3.5 didnt work good for me. I have low shbg so i think more frequent shots works better for me. Reading only guys with low shbg usually do better daily or eod shots.

basically you are on 175mg per week. I am not surprised you are high considering typical dosing averages 100mg per week. 40mg eod would bring that down to 140mg a week average.
How long have you been on anyway?

Trt for about 2 years.1 year hcg only. 1 year test. Started the 50mg eod adex 0.25 in like april. I am worried my e2 has dropped low the past 2 weeks. Based on anexity and sex drive. But i have other factors in my life that could be affecting this. So i guess i will wait for bloodwork.

Do you think switching my adex to e3d based on the lower test amount was a good idea? Thx

If you feel like your E2 has dropped, then you may want to get some blood work done ASAP to check it, then drop the adex for a little bit. I inject 110 mgs of test a week split into two doses. I inject every 3.5 days. I also take .25 mgs adex on injection days. E2 is different for everybody and hard to dial in, especially with HCG in your protocol.

Was planning to do bloodwork 3 weeks after switching to this new protocol. I am traveling for the month of august, so just want to get a reading where i am at before then. Do u think 3-4 weeks is long enough to see a change in trt protocol?

You may see a little difference but usually people get tested every three months until they get their protocol dialed in. Then they go to every 6 months

Ya thats usually how often I go 3 months or so. I am just kind of in a jam as i need to do my bloodwork for my family doctor who gave me the trt in about 8-10weeks. I just dont want my numbers to come in high again at "150/wk taken 1 shot a week". Because my doctor may want to drop me back to 100mg which is fine and may work this time by doing eod injections but he had me on 100mg before and it didnt work. So he my catch on that i am changing my shot frequency. I am planning to do bloodwork at a private clinic first to dial in before doing my trt docs blood work.

Its a mess i know lol.

Was planning to do a blood test in 4 weeks. Readjust if needed then 4 weeks after that a blood test. Then hopefully all is well and do my docs blood test

Don't take offense to this but don't play around with your dosage. It's easy to do because you think to yourself, "Hey I can get some great gains in the gym" or "man if I feel his good I'll feel even better with a little higher dosage". The best thing to do is stick to what he has you prescribed at. There is no need to inject more often than every 3.5 days. Anymore than that is overkill and building up needless scar tissue. You could always wait about 3-4 days, then give yourself a weekly injection and continue until your appt. That way maybe you'll give your levels time to work down enough not to look like they are too high. I hope this makes sense!

Ya i get what your saying. But to be honest i am taking less then prescribed. Just started playing with shot frequency to balance e2 and low shbg.

Do u mean like say for example when i was doing 50 eod and levels came in high. i could have stayed with that dosage for example and just wait like 5 days for levels to taper off then do blood work?

Thanks for the responses

Yes you could have waited the 5 days. The half life of test is only 4-6 days so your levels would definitely drop.

Maybe i will do that if i cant find the right dose that brings me into normal ranges before i need to do my doctors blood work. I do want to be on the high end of normal. Being above forever cant be a good thing lol.

Aslong as i get my doctor off my back with normal blood ranges on one test. I can adjust my dosage to find a good amount for me by doing my own blood work.

FYI are you aware that lower shbg is desirable. It allows for greater free testosterone.

Hey random question. Maybe you know the answer. Was taking a second look at my blood work and next to my e2. It has a < symbol What does the <> symbols means ? .. just thinking if means below then <20 would mean i am to low?

Thanks.

You'

then why does it give a value of 20 ? If it is lower then that?.

This makes sense now, i know 20-25 is a good e2 range. But this makes sense about the anxeity and clinking joints. Libido was good but has dropped last 2 weeks. All 3 have got worse and no morning or rem wood since dropping my T dose the past week. Should i stop taking adex for a while? Until bloodwork or if i notice high e2 sides which i had before at a e2 of 29 .then start adex again at diff protocol?

Thanks for your time man

Did you have low SHBG prior to starting TRT?

Ok, so that is something you want to talk to them about because low total test and low shbg is a sign of possible metabolic issues. Low SHBG is good to a point with balance of total, free t, and e2, but you don't want to be below normal range and shouldn't be in combination with low test.

I'd discuss with a specialist to see if there something underlying to this. Remember that TRT can hide/mask other issues for a short amount of time, but then they resurface if it wasn't addressed in the beginning. A year on TRT is considered a short time.

I did an mri. And they found i had empty sella syndome. Maybe that could cause low shbg? Any doctor i have talked to hasnt said much about the empth sella, other then that i dont need surgery.

I know a person that was diagnosed with Empty Sella Syndrome and his SHBG was in normal range, so I am not sure on that. I am surprised that no one has mentioned insulin resistance regarding this as this was one of the first things discussed when I was learning about ranges of individual and combination tests with my specialist(s).

I have had bad luck with **** doctors. I am 28, my ages seems to scare them away and want to pass me along. I am lucky i even got prescribed testostrone. I have seen improvement just need to find a balance with my dosage. Like you said maybe their could be an underlining issue.

Hey guys i have cut out adex for about 10days now and have been running 20mg ED. Erections have come back which i guess is from E2 coming back up but i also have been gettinf very bad anexity. I am not sure if it is from my e2 because usually when my e2 is high i get itchy nipples and red skin. Trying to hold off the adex until i get blood work so i can get a better idea of where i am at. Just curious if anyone would think my anexity is from e2?

I get terribly moodiness, depressed feeling when my E2 is up. I'm very sensitive to high E2 in my body: bloated, feel like crap, feel pissed off, itchy nipples. I'm going to my TRT doctor today and telling her HCG at high doses is skyrocketing my E2 and it doesn't feel good. I might need a stronger AI than arimedex honestly.

High e2 can absolutely increase anxiety and usually does. Water retention, moodiness, anxiety, headaches, lethargy, brain fog, and temper are all sides that can be attributed to high estrogen. High estrogen is terrible.

Ya my anexity and temper is bad right now. Feel sorry for my gf. Just surprised my nipples havent acted up which usually happens. So im not sure if it is my e2 being high or my T being high. Really want to take some adex to see if it helps, but trying to hold off for bloodwork.

Take some adex it will help. My sex drive even suffers with high e2.

Ya i dont even want her near me right now lol. I want to see bloodwork so i can see my e2 and maybe lower my T dosage to bring down the e2. Just sucks because we are going on vacation soon and i am not in the mood to do anything.

Yeah dude sounds like me the other day, usually after my workouts I feel great and want to drink my delicious protein drink. Not on that day I felt like a PMSing bitch. Hit the anti estrogen man you'll be glad you did.

Any of you guys experience an e2 shutdown from adex? just got some blood work back and my numbers came back <43 on a range of 43-157 pmol. I have been off adex for about a month now and doesnt seem like my body has started to produce estrogen again. Waiting for the rest of my blood work, so far just got e2 and total T was 24.6 (7-31) nmol/l. Pretty cool my total T has stayed about the same going from 50mg eod to 20mg ed. Will most likely have to lower my dosage to 16-18mg a day. Will wait to get all my blood work back first.

As far as your E2 is concerned....you need the test LabCorp uses. It's the Roche ECLIA methodology with a range of 7.6 - 42.6. Some people refer to this test as the estradiol sensitive test. But you need to use this test to get a true reading of your E2 levels and for God's sakes stop pinning everyday!!!!

If i drop to 16mg a day thats 112 a week. And in pretty sure my levels will be higher from when i was doing 50mg twice a week.

Why pin everyday? You're on a poor plan.

I respect your opinion to each their own. Maybe i am an idiot, but if something works for me then i am fine with that. No pain in experimenting, I have read a few guys are happying doing 16mg a day. If it doesnt work learn from it and try something else. Maybe the information would help others.

It's frustrating when you post asking for advice and you don't follow any of it. You do what you choose, which is totally fine, but why ask for advice if you're not going to take it?

have you ever run 50mg 2x a week? i have settled on that over the years along with a small dose of arimidex on the same day as the shots. I have no clue what my shbg count is, but i have found that my levels are stable enough that acne is greatly reduced, water retention from estrogen is down, moods are much more stable (history of depression and bipolar) and i am in general a nicer person.

doing daily shots you had better be using insulin pins and many locations to avoid scar tissue build up...365 shots a year for the next 40 years is a lot of scarring...

Fair enough. Will just use this as trt log. Maybe someone will find the information interesting or helpful. I Just like having somewhere to vent.

Ya i tried 50mg twice a week. Test levels sucked and e2 was a bit high. Would like to find a protocol to avoid adex. Got 6 spots right now should prob add a few more

I am also bipolar. Makes reading trt symptoms alot harder doesnt it? Lol
